Realizing another possibility. Leah immediately grabbed her phone and dialed Penelope, “Are you keeping something from me?”

“Mom, no!”

“Are you still lying to me? Allison is pregnant, 8 weeks in Penelope, what’s going on?”

“What?” Penelope was taken aback. Did she get pregnant that night? How lucky was Allison?

“Penelope, you even deceived me?” Hearing the strangeness in Penelope’s voice, Leah softened her tone.
