Chapter 498
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
âSadieâs getting too cocky. She hasnât even made it big yet, and sheâs already acting like a diva.â.
And then there was the fact that Sadie had been holding up the shoot. The crew was less than pleased. As whispers buzzed around her, Sadieâs mood soured even further. She pointed at Allison. âIf you still want a job at Epic Entertainment, youâd better take your pit bull home!â
Kendra, riding on Sadieâs coattails, chimed in, âYeah, Allison, leash your dog. We donât need her snapping at people.â
Emmaâs cheeks flushed with anger.
Inside the studio, Sadie seemed to be putting on a one-woman show. Meanwhile, the other focal point of this conflict was sitting in a lounge chair, engrossed in her phone. Allison rubbed her temples, stood up, and cast a cool, detached look at Sadie. She approached one step at a time. âIf you still want a job at Epic Entertainment, you should take your pit bull home. Thatâs something I should be telling you.â
She positioned herself in front of Emma, giving Sadie a once-over, âThe one disrupting the shoot and hurling insults is you. And is that barking dog at your side? Sadie, Iâve tolerated you long enough.â
Her voice was light, clear, and firm. It was not a flighty tone, but one that commanded attention and shook you to your core.
Sadie was taken aback. âYouâre in no position to lecture me, Allison!â
Before she could finish her sentence, a sharp slap echoed throughout the studio. The assistant editorâs eyes widened. The cameraman froze.
Before Sadie could react, her cheek stung with pain. Kendra screamed, âAllison, you hit Sadie?!â
With her numb cheek in her hand, Sadie prepared to retaliate, but Allison grabbed her hand and delivered another slap. Staggering back, Sadie was caught by Kendra. Her cheeks were burning. She couldnât believe that thes the seemingly demure Allison had dared to hit her.
âAllison, have you lost your mind?!â She glared at Allison, but after being slapped twice, she was somewhat afraid.
Allison simply stated coldly, âApologize to Emma.â She didnât even spare Sadie a glance, as if she was beneath her notice. Her voice was light, but commanding, leaving no room for argument.
Emma was taken aback. She never expected Allison to stand up for her. âItâs okay, Allison. Iâm fine.â
Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine that Allison would slap Sadie, not just once but twice.
What if Sidney found out?
Sadie was trembling. Apologize to Emma? Impossible. âAllison, you hit me. Youâre finished. I wonât let you off easy!â
Allison laughed, and a brief, stunning smile momentarily warmed her frosty face. It was breathtaking.
So much so that it was captured by a photographer who was editing images on the side. He couldnât help but marvel at the picture. It was absolutely gorgeous. Her dismissive smile was like a one-of-a-
kind masterpiece.
âOh, how exactly do you plan to make me pay?â Allison appeared to take Sadieâs threat lightly. Instead, she seemed somewhat intrigued.
Sadie gritted her teeth. âAllison, youâll pay for hitting me. Sidney wonât let you off, and you can forget about getting any roles at Epic Entertainment in the future! Iâll make you kneel and beg for my forgiveness!â
