Chapter 5
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
Allison stared in confusion at the man in the driverâs seat. He was a big shot at Willowbrook College, called Jason.
A rich kid that had nothing to do with her.
Allison knew him because he had been seeking her out lately.
âHey, you seem to be in a rush, running out of time?â Jason propped himself up on the car window with one hand, flashing her a mischievous grin, âNeed a lift?â
Allison frowned, she didnât want to mingle with this kind of person too much, but it was clear, even if she caught the bus now, she wouldnât make it on time.
After hesitating for a bit, she decided to get in the car, âThanks.â
The flashy red sports car zoomed off.
In the car, Jason took a glance at the rearview mirror, âYou havenât told me where you live yet?â
âCedar Manor.â
Jason raised an eyebrow, what a coincidence? He chuckled, not asking any further.
Half an hour later, the car pulled into Cedar Manor, âAllison, which building is yours?â
âThanks, Jason. You can drop me off here.â
Jason didnât stop the car, he wanted to know where Allison lived, âIf you donât tell me, Iâll just keep driving around here.â
Allison was somewhat helpless, âOver there, the 7th building at the corner.â
Building 7â¦
It wasnât until the car stopped in front of Building 7 that Allison got out of the car, thanking Jason. Just as she was about to enter, a black Bentley stopped in front of Jasonâs car.
Jason turned off the car and waved at the people in the Bentley, âLucian, Kamilla, good timing.â
Allison didnât expect to run into Lucian here.
Lucian got out of the car, glanced at Jason, and then his gaze landed on Allison. It was just a fleeting glance, but Allison froze.
Damn, she forgot to put on a mask!
Jason introduced, âAllison, they are my cousins Lucian and Kamilla.â
âBro, this is my classmate, Allison.â
âAllisonâ¦â Lucian repeated the name, recalling the maid who looked terrified that day.
âDo you guys know each other?â Jason asked in surprise. Even Kamilla gave Allison a few more glances.
Lucian slowly walked up to Allison, slightly bowed his head, curiously looking at her face. He had to say, she looked so much like. Penelope. If he hadnât seen it with his own eyes, he wouldnât believe there could be two people in the world who looked so alike.
Being observed at such a close distance, Allison felt her whole body tense up, afraid he would recognize her as the woman from that night.
She quickly explained, âNo, we donât know each otherâ¦â
Lucian slightly raised his eyebrows, looking at this woman who was obviously scared and trembling, but trying to hide it. A thoughtful look flashed in his eyes, âWhatâs your relationship with Penelope?â
Allison was sweating bullets, nerves shot to hell.
