Emma was prepared to explain the whole debacle, but Kendra beat her to the punch. “It was Allison.

She slapped Sadie twice over a minor spat.”

Patty moved closer to Allison, examining her closely. Seeing no sign of damage, she heaved a sigh of relief. The fear she felt when she heard over the phone that Sadie had been hit was indescribable.

Allison always seemed so refined and gentle. The fact that she could hit someone suggested either that she herself had been hit or that she had lost control of her emotions. Patty dreaded finding a bruise on Allison’s face. She couldn’t afford to offend that big shot.

Sidney turned to Allison. “Is this true, Allison? Do you understand what you’ve done?”

Noticing Sidney about to explode, Emma quickly interjected, “It wasn’t like that. Before we started filming, Sadie came over and tried to steal the makeup artist. She also insulted Allison.”

Allison softly lifted her gaze. Her eyes were cold and clear. “I hit her. She said she wanted me to kneel before her and beg for mercy. She also threatened to ruin my career, saying I would never have a part in any Epic Entertainment productions.”

She was looking at Patty as she said this.

Sidney turned to Sadie. “Did you say that?”

Sadie clenched her teeth and nodded. Sidney gave her a stern look. If Sadie was the one who started the trouble, then she couldn’t punish Allison. However, she also couldn’t allow her own artist to be bullied.

“Allison, regardless of the circumstances, you shouldn’t hit people. Patty, how do you think we should handle this?”

Patty didn’t respond. She didn’t dare to. At that moment, she felt an oppressive force. Allison always seemed so gentle and unassuming, but Patty had never seen her angry Patty cursed Sadie for her lack of foresight.

Allison looked at her. “Patty, what do you think?”

Patty hesitated, unsure of what to say. “Well…Allison, what do you think we should do?”

Who was Patty? Patty was a top-tier agent, one of the top five in the entertainment industry. Most of the producers and investors in the industry had to give Patty some respect. Even some of the most successful actors and actresses had to respect her. Now, she was asking a newcomer for advice.

Sadie was also stunned by this.

Emma rubbed her eyes. Was this the same decisive Patty she knew?

Allison stood up and glanced at her watch. “Since the shooting is over, I should head home. As for Sadie, I’ve put up with her long enough.”

“I want Sadie and Kendra to apologize to my agent, Emma.” She looked at Patty. “Understood?”

“Yes, got it, Patty replied.

“In the future, I don’t want to see her at Epic Entertainment,”

She walked a few steps forward, stopping when she reached Sadie. A smirk played at the corner of her lips. “The movie with Cathy that you’re always bragging about? It’s something I didn’t want.”

With that, Allison left the set.

Sadie and Kendra stood frozen in place. Sidney looked at Patty, a sense of foreboding rising within her.

“What…what does this mean, Patty?!

Patty let out a long sigh. She couldn’t handle it when Allison was angry. Just now, she felt as if the air around her was being sucked away. She shot a glance at Sidney, and her confidence was returning.

“You brought this artist in. You caused this mess. I’m the one who should be asking you what this all means.”
