She was intentionally trying to embarrass Nicki!

The team had the alluring press release ready. They were just waiting to release it after the red carpet event.

Kimberly’s voice was sweet. “Patty, I’m waiting for the cue too. Look at me all dolled up, how would I know Nicki wouldn’t walk the red carpet?”

Nicki almost choked on her own spit. As she stared at Kimberly’s innocent facade, she ground her teeth. “Kimberly, everyone knows about you and Mr. Sears…”

Nicki’s words were too incisive, nearly breaching the taboo. Her manager, Coco, quickly coughed, and Nicki bit down on her teeth.

Kimberly widened her eyes as if she had caught Nicki in a trap. “What? Nicki, what were you about to say?”

Patty had a headache. The two stars were arguing and even dragged Mr. Sears into it. This was absurd. “Enough,” Patty said. “If you don’t want to walk, then don’t. Nicki and Kimberly, no gigs for a month. I don’t like artists who don’t obey the company’s management. If you think you can fly, then fly.

Let’s see if you can make it on your own.”

After Patty spoke, the dressing room fell silent for a few seconds. No one dared to breathe. The tense atmosphere between the two teams also dissipated a lot.

Since she didn’t walk the red carpet and was still angry, Nicki went straight back to her dressing room and sat on the couch. She kicked a stool, and Coco quickly glanced at the door to make sure no one was snooping. She then closed the door and turned around to remind Nicki, “My little diva, you’re practically begging for people to find out.”

Nicki was straightforward, she couldn’t hide things and definitely couldn’t handle being wronged. She immediately lost her temper. “Kimberly is making moves behind the scenes. She is dining with Mr.

Sears and trying to overshadow me. Am I supposed to let myself be stepped on willingly? Patty too, punished me without knowing the full story!”

Coco lowered her voice. “Keep it down.”

Nicki stomped her foot. “I’m already wronged, can’t I vent a little? Besides, Patty’s gone.”

Coco sat down next to Nicki, looking at her. Tonight, Nicki was wearing a haute couture dress from a luxury brand, a pink chiffon gown with petal-shaped chiffon at the bust that accentuated her charming curves. To get this dress, the team put in a lot of effort and even collaborated with the best photographer. The plan was to create a buzz on the red carpet and outshine others. Who could’ve imagined that she wouldn’t even walk the red carpet.

What a shame!

Once inside, she had to change into a different dress, and she had to explain it to the brand. Next time, it would be difficult to borrow a haute couture dress from this brand.

The frustration was stuck in Nicki’s chest. She vowed, next time, she would make Kimberly pay!

After a sip of water, Nicki started changing into her other dress, a glamorous blue gown. She asked her agent, “Who walked the red carpet when Kimberly and I were backstage? I don’t think I’ve heard of her.”

Coco replied, “She’s called Allison. She’s the lead actress in Wade’s new movie.”

Nicki was taken aback. “It’s her?”
