Chapter 60
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
Allison didnât dare to step foot into room 606 again, and she let Ashley go in with the drinks.
She never expected to bump into Lucian again in a city like Northfield.
There were plenty of waitresses on the sixth floor and a total of six VIP rooms.
But here, there were no fixed room assignments. No waitress had a fixed job. Sarah once said that only competition could bring motivation. If there were fixed assignments, work would get lazy.
Allison checked the time, then turned around to go to the bathroom.
Just as she exited the bathroom, a drunk customer stumbled out. A fat middleâaged man, drunk off his ass, yelled out, âSomebody gives me a handââ
Allison just stood to the side, and the drunk middleâaged man noticed her; he grabbed Allisonâs hand, his other hand resting on her shoulder, âYour hand is so smooth â
A strong stench of alcohol hit her, mixed with a nauseating smell. Allison frowned, âSir, please let go of meâ¦â
âIsnât this where you work as a prostitute? Iâm Kurt. Thereâs no woman I want that I canât have. Stick with me, and youâll have a good life. Let me enjoy myself tonight, pretty girlâ
The drunk man said as he wrapped his fat arms around Allison Allison frowned, struggling in disgust, âSir, youâre drunk. Iâm calling security!â
âSecurity! Even if your deputy manager Samuel comes, he canât help youâ The man, fueled by alcohol, pressed Allison against the wall.
Allison struggled, and the passing waitresses looked over, but none of them were willing to help. No one wanted to stir up trouble, and they just gave Allison sympathetic glances.
Allison didnât expect people to be so indifferent here.
âAh, you smell so goodâ¦â Kurt disgustingly moved his face closer, sniffing the faint scent in the air.
Allisonâs nerves were almost numb from the sudden strong smell of alcohol. She held her breath and pushed Kurt away with all her might, her hands protecting her chest. She stomped on Kurtâs foot in a gap, then kicked upwards. Then she quickly turned and ran.
Kurt immediately screamed like a slaughtered pig. âAhââ
His drunkenness sobered up instantly. âYou bitch!!â
Allison ran away in panic.
Kurt chased after her, and she ran to the door of room 606. She hesitated momentarily at the door, then closed her eyes, reached out, and pushed the door open.
Lucianâs gaze turned to her.
She leaned against the door, panting heavily, her hair a little messy. Although her clothes were intact, they were a bit wrinkled, as if she had been struggling. Her eyes were full of fear.
Allison lifted her trembling head, her eyes meeting his.
She clenched her fists, âIâm sorry for the interruption, gentlemen. Iâ¦â
Her voice was trembling too.
James sensed something was off, âWhatâs wrong?â
Before Allison could speak, Lucianâs cold voice slowly rose, âThe quality of the waitresses at Red Jack Club is really going downhill!â
James looked at Lucian Lucian didnât speak, his icy gaze fixed on her.
A touch of selfâmockery suddenly surged in Allisonâs heart.
How could he possibly help her?
