Chapter 73
The Billionaire’s Maid Bride
Allison Just hopped out of the shower and flopped onto her bed Lean mentioned that sheâd have a chance to visit her mom tomorrow Recently, every time Allison bumped into Lean and Penelope at the Flanaganâs, she was as humble as pie and tiptoed around them like they were landmines, scared to tick them off.
It seemed like they loved her being their doormat She had only seen Grace once since her kidney transplant. That time, Grace was having a severe rejection reaction, so bad that she was even rushed to the ICU Allison prayed her butt off, hoping her mom could pull through But now her momâs condition was getting better And Allison was finally breathing easier Every time she went to the hospital, they blindfolded her. There were hundreds of hospitals and private clinics in Northfield, and she had no way of checking them all out.
She pulled up the maps on her phone.
She had to find her mom. She wanted to get the h ell out of Northfield, find another place, and live a quiet life with her mom.
She wanted to get away from the Flanagan family, andâ¦
Lucian She eliminated the closest five hospitals and the furthest ten based on her trips to the hospital and slowly narrowed down the search.
Eventually, she ruled out several more hospitals based on her memory of the ward, the hallways, and the elevators.
After a long search, Allison was beat and switched off the light, dozing off on the bed.
In her sleep, she suddenly felt pressure on her chest.
She was having a hard time catching her breath.
She felt like she was choking She was gasping for breath.
She groggily opened her eyes âAh-â her scream was mu ffled by a familiar set of lips. Her mind was on high alert. That breath, she recognized it, it was Lucian!!
This was her room!
Why the h ell was Lucian here??
Her mind went blank as he ripped her clothes off.
Allison pushed him away with all her might, âWhat the h ell are you doing? Lucian, have you lost your mind?â
In the dim light, Allison managed to switch on the bedside lamp. His handsome features appeared clearly in front of her.
It was really him âIâve lost my mind?â Lucian thought he must be mad to do such a thing. He bowed his head, his hot breath sprayed on her face, turning her cheeks red.
His deep, hoa rse voice was heavy in her ears, âWho was that guy? Allison, donât forget who you are!â
âI know who I am, Mr. Lindberg. Do you know who you are?â
Before Allison could finish, he tore her clothes off again Her face went pale in an instant. She never thought her words would set Lucian off. The next thing she knew, he was on top of her, and the pain made her dizzy She held back the pain, âHe has no girlfriend, no wife, why canât I be with him.â Allison didnât understand why he was so mad. She had distanced herself from him, why wouldnât he leave her alone?
Did he still think she was playing hard to get?
âLucian, donât you think youâre sticking your nose where it doesnât belong? Why does it matter to you if Iâm with Dr. Dylan? We like each other.â
She couldnât figure out why he was so madâ¦
This confession, âwe like each grfer,â shattered the last bit of Lucianâs sanity. His eyes were bloodshot.
He looked like a demon straight from he ll. Allison didnât know what to do, she was a bit scared, and a bit lost.
Then, a smile spread across his handsome, indifferent face Under the dim light, his smile was coldâ¦.
âAllisonâ He called her name, took her phone, and flipped to a contact, âIs this his number?*
Then, he hitâthe call button
