Is this the reason

Jungkook looked at him with teary eyes. Taehyung was patiently waiting for his answer even though he knew what it was going to be.

Jk : I am sorry Taehyung.

Old man 2 : What the hell. How can Jungkook can do that. My poor Taehyung.

Old man : Well, people have the right to reject someone if they don't love them right.

Old man 2 : but that's not happening, how can he do that. He seems to love him.

Old man 1 : The story isn't yet, it's just the beginning right. (Said with a smile)

Taehyung closed his pair of tears falls from his eyes. Jungkook was nowhere fine he was also crying.

Tae : please don't be sorry, you have every right to choose for yourself right. We will friends always don't worry. And stop crying.

Jk : you're also crying , I hurt you . I am sorry Taehyung but-

Tae : I will be fine ok, it just for a while I will be fine. Don't worry about me kookie. You go home.

Jk : but-

Tae : don't worry about me I said I will be fine if you go home.

Jungkook started going towards his home still holding that rose bouquet with him. Taehyung was crying too Jungkook turned to look at him. Taehyung quickly passes a smile towards to him with tears. Jungkook again started walking towards his.

After Taehyung saw Jungkook went from there he fell on his knees and cried and sobbing. His eyes roam around at the decorations and in the end at the ring in his hands.

Tae : I-i am *sob * n-not fi-fine. It's it's hurt a lot*sob* it's hu-hurt like hell. (He was hitting on his chest to ease the pain he was feeling but nothing helping to ease the pain he was feeling.)

After a while Jimin came to take decorations he saw Taehyung sitting on the ground and crying.

Jm : Taehyung (he ran to him seeing him Taehyung hugged)

Tae : Jungkook didn't accept me Jimina. I should I do. It hurts a lot. (Said crying on Jimin embrace)

Jm : it's fine Taehyung, it's fine you have me. Ok you will find someone better. (He also had tears in his eyes seeing Taehyung's condition)

After consoling Taehyung who is still looking lost. He takes him to his apartment.

Tae : Thank you Jimina.

Jm : now you start thanking your friend great . Shut up ok. I always with you understand. You take some rest ok. I will come tomorrow to meet you.

Taehyung nodded his head. And head towards his room. Jimin doesn't want to leave but he knows Taehyung need to me alone.

Jimin went outside of the apartment. At out he found Jungkook standing at his apartment door. Jimin looks at him and scoff.

Jk : is Taehyung fine? (After so much hesitation he asked)

Jm : yes, absolutely because of you thank you so much. (Said I sarcasm which Jungkook understands)

Jk : I never wanted to.

Jm : stop with your drama understand. Just stay away from me friend.

Jimin left from there leaving Jungkook in tears.

Taehyung in his bedroom looking at, the ceiling eyes still pouring tears. Him crying silently. He was feeling really tired right now. After crying so much, in arrangements everything made him physically and mentally exhausted. Still his mind plays beautiful moments of him with Jungkook. Taehyung didn't realize when but due to exhaustion his eyes got closed.

Taehyung stirred in his sleep. He looks around and finds himself in his room. He signs and touches his head. But he felt his were quite wet and warm. He didn't give much thought to this.

Taehyung finally thought of starting his day. He still didn't get out of yesterday's incident which kept playing in his mind. Sometimes even bring tears to them. But he thought to stay strong.

After coming out of the apartment he encountered to Jungkook who was also going out.

Tae : heading off work

Taehyung asked to see Jungkook. Hearing him Jungkook turned around and greeted Taehyung. Taehyung noticed that Jungkook's eyes were swollen.

Jk : yes, you too (Taehyung nodded) you got late today

After thinking so much Jungkook somehow formed a sentence. There was a thick wall of awkwardness was present between which is stopping them from acting like who they used. Which taehyung is sacred off.

Tae : Jungkook let's forget what happened yesterday please. Let's be friends as we were hmm.

Jk : yeah sure.

Tae : that my kookie (he ruffled Jungkook's hair, Taehyung didn't know what emotions Jungkook's eyes were holding it's really difficult for him to understand) You're fine.

Jk : of course I am, what happened to me. I should ask you this. (Said immediately)

Tae : well, until I have a friend like you I am completely healthy. Come I will drop you to work

Jk : yeah.

Taehyung drove Jungkook to his music studio and went for his company. He was trying to act normal so Jungkook. But he still gets over from that. Taehyung felt selfish knowing Jungkook doesn't have the same feeling as his but still he will always love Jungkook it's something which is not in his hands.

After reaching at the company he tried his best to drown himself completely in work. When he received a call from Jimin.

Jm : how are you feeling now Taetae. (His voice had worry and anxiousness)

Tae : I am feeling much better now chimmy thank you for your support yesterday. I was too broke to even walk home. Thank you for taking care of mine.

Jm : heyyy don't spit rubbish understand, you're my soulmate I will do everything for you.

Tae : I am very grateful to have you.

Jm : yeah so much praising I can't digest understand Mr. Kim talks like a normal person. Understand.

Tae : ok Mr. Shorty park.

Jm : that's wrong talking normally doesn't mean disrespect. (He heard the chuckle of Taehyung which brought a smile to him) Taehyung what you have thought

Tae : about what?

Jm : moving on.

Tae : chimmy is something which isn't in my hand.

Jm : for that you should have tried for that. You're not ready.

Tae : exactly, I am not ready. I want some time for that.

Jm : you should have initiations for that you're being that old Taehyung still there you should stop thinking about Jungkook all the time he didn't even know what you have done for him. , for being close to Jungkook what you haven't did, leaving you mansion you buy apartment next door to Jungkook saying that you need that cuz it's near your office, you approached Jungkook's label and make him your brand ambassador when he had zero brand reputation knowing it can effect your company . You've played a major role in  his life without even him knowing this.

Tae : whatever I did it's not for Jungkook I did because I wanted to. Please stop saying like I did something very great things to him. I too had my own reason for doing them. I made him a brand ambassador cuz I wanted him to be near me, I want to get close to him. I had my own greed. Jungkook doesn't even do this.

Jm : but taehyung.

Tae : I have work Jimin i will talk later. (He hung up the call.)

Taehyung started working again. When he heard knock on the cabin door. Taehyung gave permission.

Assistant : Mr. Kim we have a meeting shall we leave for that.

Tae : yeah, I will be coming to the car.

They had a meeting in a cafe. So Taehyung went there with his assistant. They were reach.

Taehyung had a great meeting and things went well.

Tae : let's look forward towards the deal and working together Mr. William.

Mr. W : It will be a pleasure if our company works with you.

They shake hands . As the meeting was over they were to leave.

When they were leaving Taehyung eyes fell on a similar figure. He looked there more. But seen in front of him brought tears to his eyes.

Jungkook was there with someone. They were talking about something. When the person in front of Jungkook gently squeezed his hand and Jungkook gave a smile in return.

Taehyung was quite far from them He couldn't hear their conversation. But his heart burns seeing Jungkook smiling at someone.

Tae : Is this the reason Jungkook? Why did you reject me. You have someone else.(His eyes stuck on them a lonely pair of tears fell from his eyes)
