Chapter 15 - Dinner

Once we got into the room Alex's parents were still talking to Greg and Lisa, until the baby box stroller appeared in the room which caught everyone's attention mostly the women inside of the room.

Alex's dad suddenly moved back to give the women a space to look into the stroller box, Alex was talking to Greg who was standing next to the bed then there i was, awkwardly standing next to The big boss of Adams empire.

"Bella clark" He suddenly said then i smiled.

"Yes Mr Adams?" I asked him.

"I heard that your dating my son?" He asked me and i could tell that my heart was beating so fast.

"Yes sir" i said.

"How can that guy get you" he asked me then it made me laughed.

"I didn't expect I'm going to end up with him too sir" i said then he laughed.

"By the way, i heard that you're supporting the UNICEF foundation isn't it true?" He asked me.

"Yeah it is i just got back from this place, one of the country that they have their focus on to build a more proper learning center and to provide a more proper food" i said to him then he nodded.

"Lets have a seat shall we?" He asked me.

We walked into the living room in the other side of the room then we sat on the couch next to one another.

"So how was it there?" He asked me.

"The children really need a facility for their learning center, they still can look happy with those facilities but i know children around the world need a proper facilities for their educational learning activities." I said.

"Well their country is in a crisis, they have no proper place to sleep, proper clothes to wear somehow it's just made me want to do something to help them"

"It's like they have a suffer life" i said.

"What is your hope for them especially the kids?" He asked me.

"I want them to live a normal life with us, with my participation in this foundation i hope everyone is going to be inspired to help them too" i said to him.

"And of course so i can tell the story to everyone about how was the real or actual conditions there" i said to him then he nodded.

"Can you tell me where can i contact them?" He asked me and it surprised me.

"I'm interested to give them a donation" he said with a smile on his face.

"Really? That's amazing" i said.

"Wait i think i have their cards in my wallet" i said before checking through my wallet.

"Here" i gave him the card, gladly i had them in my wallet cause I didn't feel it was polite enough to tell him to just check out their website.

"Thank you so much" i said to him.

"No thank you so much for telling me about your life experience in there, I've actually waiting to meet a person with a real life experience to tell me the real situation and condition in there" he said.

"I felt amaze that a person like you still sparing your time between working and humanity that's wonderful" he said and i smiled.

"Thank you so much" i said.

He got up from the sofa while looking at the card that i gave, he put it inside of his pocket before walking out of the living room. I didn't know why but Peter Adams wasn't like what I expected he was much more friendly, i thought he was as cold as Alex. Well Alex was a cold person at first but he was more into a guy with an evil mind sometimes.

"Jul lets go home shall we?" His dad called for his mom.

"Oh yeah" Juliet said.

"Lisa Greg we're so happy for you but Peter and I have an early flight tomorrow so we have to go now" She said.

"It's okay thank you so much for coming" Lisa said.

"Thank you uncle, aunt" Greg said.

"It's a pleasure, hoping to see you soon" Alex's dad said.

"Son" he said to Alex.

"Dad" he said awkwardly.

I could tell Alex and his dad didn't really have a good relationship, they seemed so cold to one another and it made me curious was it because they were always traveling so Alex always left alone.

"Bye honey, Bye Bella" his mom said before his parents left us.

We were on the way back to my apartment with him driving next to me, he didn't talk much in the car and i was curious. It seemed like he had two sides, one the wild side of him then the other was the cold side of him. He didn't talk much that day, the way he looked into his dad there was something in his eyes that I couldn't read.

"Are you hungry?" He suddenly broke the silent.

"Uhmm" i hummed while leaning my head to the window as the car passing the highway.

"Do you want to go somewhere?" He asked me.

"I should ask you first" I finally turned my head to look at him who was sitting next to me.

"What?" He asked me.

His left hand rested on his thigh while his right hand was controlling the wheel, his eyes was still had their focus on the road. He's still wearing his working suite and it annoyed me how he still wearing those ties.

"Are you stressing about something?" I asked him.

He let out a breath before untying the tie from his neck, he let it loose then I expecting that he was going to say something but he didn't say a word.

The car parked outside a restaurant that was kinda full of people, we got in then gladly they still got a table for us. We ordered our food and he still stayed in a silent I didn't know but i knew something must be happened with him.

He was sitting next to me and his stares was blank into the table that was empty enough, I leaned closer as i felt anyone began to realize that we were there. My fingertips brushed against his sharp jaw line until his hazel brown eyes finally! Had their focus on mine.

"Everyone is looking at us Alex, why are you so stressed they said" i said mimicking the people who had their eyes on us.

I leaned close before giving a single kiss on his cheek, he let out a breath after i took that action. He looked like he was stressing over something, i hoped that he was going to be just fine.

"Great there's a paparazzi now" I sarcastically said, why were they always found us i mean didn't they have their own life to take care of.

"I'm going to lean on your shoulder then you can tell me whatever you want" i said to him.

"Or not" i said but he only stayed in a silent.

My vision was looking into the media who was waiting outside, there were a bunch of them outside. I kept looking at them until one man caught my attention,

It was the same guys that i saw back in the airport when i ordered my drink in Starbucks, he still wearing the same black hoodie that covered his head. He was staring at us with a blank expression, his face was flat and we had an eye contact. I felt like there was something strange started to going on but i was trying to brush that feeling away.

"This is your food miss, and this is yours Sir" the waiter gave us the food.

We thanked them then started to eat our dinner together, he still didn't speak. He didn't even had his eyes one me, it seemed something just shocked him. I knew i was just an object that he rented that benefits him, he payed me and it seemed like it wasn't right to ask about it but at the same time i also felt like i had to.

My eyes was landed into the same spot where i found the man that seemed following me but he was gone, maybe it was just a coincidence i thought. We ate our food together while his eyes were still blank, and confused. I didn't want to tell him about my problem cause it was only going to make him stress even more.

I had ate my dinner he was done too, i put my hand around his shoulders then his hazel brown eyes finally looked up at mine. I remember those hazel brown eyes looked tired and scared?

Is he okay?

"Alex are you okay?" I asked him.

"I'm fine bell" he lied before slowly putting his hand on my left cheek, his thumb was brushing on my cheek once before taking out his wallet out from his pocket.

"Can i have the bill please?" He asked the waitress then she nodded.

He still didn't want me to know why, okay I thought maybe he wanted to keep it private. Maybe he didn't trust me.

"Lets have a vacation" he suddenly said which made me turned my head from my phone screen.

"When?" I asked him.

"Whenever your schedule free" he said then i smiled.

"I always have a week free in a month" i said to him.

"Where?" I asked him.

"How about hawaii?"

"Well I actually wanna go on a vacation but now you're my girlfriend in public so i have to take you too" he said then i smile while shaking my head.

"When will you stop being my enemy Alex?" I said before putting my head on his shoulder knowing that the media was busy taking a video or a picture of us.

"Oh i hate you Alex, when are we going to be friend when both of us know that we're stuck for the next 2 years" i said.

"Welcome to hell" he said while receiving a bill from the waiters, i could see that he was smiling when he said that.

"Thank you" he said to the waiters.

"I'm already in" i said then he laughed while taking his wallet out from his pants.

He put his card inside of the bill then gave it into the waitress before she left us two, i was staring at the paparazzi who looked obviously having their focus on us.

"They are probably don't know what are we talking about" he said then i realized he was also looking at them too.

"Lets go home" i said.

"Yeah lets go" he said after receiving his card back.

We walked out of the restaurant together then went straight into his car, once we got into the car he pushed the pedal and drove away from them.

"I saw my dad was interested in you?" He asked me then i smiled.

"He isn't look like what i imagined" i said.

"He's so friendly" i said but i found his face telling me that he felt uncomfortable.

"Is there something that you want to say to me?" I asked him while he was still driving next to me.

"It's nothing" he said.

"Okay" i said.

"I have a free schedule in two weeks" i said to him.

"Okay I'll tell Gina to booked everything for us" he said.

He dropped me back into the apartment that night and the thought of him hiding a thing in front of my face still pouring into my mind.
