Chapter 21 - Secret Runaway

Isabella Clark

It was almost the day for the Victoria Secret Fashion Show and that was the time where i had to fly to New York City for the show. I was on the way to the hotel where all the models were going to stay for a few days.

I used to spent and enjoyed my time in VSFS with my best friend Stacy but we weren't friends anymore which made me felt so lonely but hey the model there were so friendly and they supporting one another.

I was so excited to meet all of the senior model that had been in Victoria Secret Fashion Industry since i was a child. Even if they were a senior they never treated us differently we were all family and that was amazing.

I was waiting for my name to be called for the fitting time and i was waiting in the waiting room with all of the models. I was so bored until a simple text message appeared on my phone screen,

Alex Adams :

I'm on my way to New York

Alex Adams :

I left my work just for you

Alex Adams :

You better work your ass up then give me a good show.

Bella Clark :

Oh shut up Alex

Bella Clark :

Work my ass

Alex Adams :

No thank you?

Bella Clark :

Thank you boyfriend

Alex Adams :

No problem

I closed the text messages app then went back to Instagram, i was scrolling down my time line until someone came to greet me.

"Who's that boy texting you?" A voice suddenly came from next to me.

"My boyfriend" i said before closing my phone then talk to none other than Taylor Hill.

"Aw cutie, is he coming tomorrow?" She asked me.

"Yeah" i smiled.

"That's very cute" she said.

"Thank you so much" i smiled.

I did the fitting and it was so pretty that i got a black lingerie with a black angel wings and i loved it so much, i felt like a real angel which made me feel so happy.

The second lingerie was a colorful lingerie with a cloak that started from around my waist, it was too pretty and they were so happy to see me posting for the fitting picture. I was too happy that i forgot Stacy was there too and i saw her, she didn't really saw me cause i was just done with my fitting and she was waiting outside the fitting room. Her head was looking down to her phone just like she always does every time she plays her phone.

I was done for that day and i was ready to go back to my hotel room cause I didn't really know what to do that day, i just wanted to stay in my hotel room to take a nap so i could have an energy for the runaway tomorrow.

Kelsie and i got back into the hotel together with a car, it felt weird but i missed Alex's who used to mocks me every time we were in the same room. It was embarrassing and hilarious when his dad walked in when we made out that day, I didn't know but the way he kissed me always felt so real. I knew I shouldn't felt like that towards his action cause it was just for the stunt and he asked me to do that for his business not to take any advantage.

But i like the way he smiled when we were joking about our stupid show for the stunt, i like the real side of him more that when he's wearing a suit and be inside of his working space. He turned into somebody else that I didn't really know, somehow he could be a good partner for me. By i had been wondering the whole time which chick is he going to bang every time i left the town for work cause I had been predicting that a guy like him couldn't live with sex more than two weeks.

It Sounds pretty uncomfortable to stuck with one person but the person had been seeing someone else. I knew i should ask him if i can have a relationship too or not, so it would be fair cause to be honest i needed a man that cares about me in my life.

Maybe I'll ask him later when it is the right time.

It was the day, I had been there in the venue since in the morning cause we gotta do the rehearsals with the incredible singer. The venue was amazing it was big and the runaway was an lcd floor which was amazing. I had a lot of fun rehearsing with all of the beautiful girls that day.

I gotta chance to wear the black angel wings it was so pretty and kinda heavy but i loved it so much. I took a lot of pictures with the others when we had a rehearsals, not just the model that had worked hard for it but also the employees that working for VS. They couldn't even comfortably sit, they were always running here running there making sure that the shows run well.

It was almost the show and i was still wearing my casual clothes until they told me to change into a white bra and a pink silk kimono. I sat on my make up table and the make up artist and the hair dresser began to do my make up in Victoria secret's model style, a curly loose hair like always and a simple natural make up.

I had a lot of fun there some of the model were taking a pictures with one another, the photographer were everywhere around the room they didn't want to miss any moment.

I opened my phone after having a conversation with Candice, the legendary angel that was so lovely to anyone. I adored her so much, she's so kind and pretty. I also love Stella she's so sassy and amazing, she's a fun girl and ridiculously sexy.

Alex had arrived yesterday night but I hadn't met him that day cause i couldn't, i had a busy schedule since in the morning. We were also staying in a different hotel but i would stay at his the night after the show cause people was going to wondering if we stay in a different hotel after the show plus we didn't want to make it too obvious.

Alex Adams :

I'm coming to the show

Bella Clark :

Heard that you bought two tickets? Who are you taking tonight?

Alex Adams :

A friend

Bella Clark :

Who is she?

Alex Adams :

He's a guy, he is single and lonely

Alex Adams :

So why not taking him here? Maybe you can introduce one of your friends to him

Bella Clark :

Haha funny I thought it was a girl that you like to bang

Alex Adams :

Haven't seen any of them since you came

Alex Adams :

It's only you babe

Bella clark :

I don't care though

Alex Adams :

I know you do

Bella Clark :

No I don't

My phone screen suddenly changed into his face, he called me then it made me smile.

"Hey" i said.

"Hey where are you?" He asked me.

"Back stage where are you?" I asked him.

"Still in the hotel" he said.

"What are you going to where?" He asked me.

"Hahaha" i laughed.

"What?" I could hear that he laughed a little and that made me smile.

"It calls Victoria Secret Baby, it is still a secret until i walked out" i said while smiling.

"You got me" he said.

"Great" i said.

"Is that bastard going to be there too?" He asked me.

"Who?" I asked him.

"Harvey?" He asked me.

"I don't know, well he used to be in my show" i said.

"I promise you he's going to be jealous of us" he said.

"How?" I asked him.

"I don't know i just know it" he said and i laughed.

"By the way i have 3 days free" he said.

"Then?" I asked him.

"We can spend a little time in here" he said.

"Very cool" i said.

"Okay i gotta go" he said.

"Yeah me too" i said.

"Oh and good luck bell, I'm so proud of you" he said.

"Thank you Alex" i said.

"I'll see you there" he said then i smiled

"Bye" i said then closed my phone.

I put my phone away and couldn't put my smile away, i felt like a fool teenage girl that just got a call from her crush.

After taking a lot of pictures, creating memories with Polaroid cameras it was finally show time. The first lingerie that i wore was the colorful one that has a cloak, i was so ready for the show and the ladies were also ready.

The show was finally started i started to here one of the singer started to sing which means that the show was started. I was waiting for my turn until i saw Stacy was also there, she was ready with a yellow fur wing and she was standing alone. Her hair was also in a loose curl, she looked pretty like always she has a long lashes that i admire so much. To be honest i missed her, i missed sharing secret with her.

"Isabella clark you're next" i heard the stage manager said which made Stacy looked up at me then realized that i was there too.

She smiled when she saw me, i looked at her then smile too.

"You look beautiful" i read her lip.

"Thank you, you too" i said.

"Good luck" she said with two finger cross just like she always did every time we had a runaway together.

"You too" i said.

"Go bella go" the stage manager said then i walked out of the backstage into the main runaway.

I walked out confidently while holding on my cloak my eyes were focus to the front while kept walking and walking. I always enjoy walking on the VS runaway cause it was like the final show after the whole year of working hard it feels like walking in heaven and being an angel. Even if i wasn't a Victoria Secret Angel but i always enjoy every second of it.

I reached the end of the runaway then pose for the camera, i saw Alex were sitting at the front row next to a guy that was also looking at me. He was smiling brightly while clapping on his hand, i wave at him and he blew me a kiss which made me laugh. I walked back into the backstage but when i almost got there i saw Anthony was sitting next to his mate at the front row too, i catch his eyes were looking at me but i tried my best to avoid him.

When i got into the backstage i knew I didn't have much time to wear the next lingerie so one of the employees were ready to help me run into the changing room to wear the next one.

"Coming through Isabella Clark is on the way to the changing room for her second outfit" she said while one woman and one man was holding on both of my hands to help me run.

I changed into the black lingerie one, then some other helped me with my heels. When i got done with my heels i got up from the seat the ran into the wings room which was ready for me. They helped me to put it on my back which was pretty heavy but i was okay with it.

"Isabella clark is ready to go" the lady said then she helped me to get back into the line.

It took at least one singer for me to get back into the stage so it means that I didn't took much time for a change. But one song for a singer didn't take much time until it was my turn again.

"Isabella clark go go go" the stage manager said then let me walked back into the runaway.

I confidently walked with the black angel wings and i felt the cold breeze was blowing against my skin. I sang into the song and interacted with the singer while walking on the runaway, my hands were following my footsteps until I stopped at the edge of the runaway. I pose for the camera as everyone's eyes were looking at me, i blew a kiss to the camera before laughing.

I turned my body around then still see Alex was still sitting on the same seat and i could see, that smile was still there on his face. He was wearing a silver tuxedo which made him look so clean and hot, his dimples made he looked a lot cuter.

I shyly laughed when he smiled, he was waving at me, his eyes were sparkling and it only had its focus on me which made me felt well a little shy. Anthony never looked at me like that, and I didn't want the show to be ended cause it felt like a miracle.

But the show went just like that, it was a magical night cause it went so fast. After i took off my wings all of the models walked out of the backstage for the last time until the show ended. I felt so happy to stand with so many talented girls on the same stage in a special night like that night. I felt so proud of myself it felt like the best gift of the year.
