Chapter 26 - Calls

Isabella Clark

"Huh thank god it's finally our turn!" Travis said behind us.

The worker opened up the ferris wheel's door for Alex and i, well it was getting darker and darker but it still had a beautiful sky though. We got inside and it began to move, I didn't know why but my heart was beating so fast when it was just me and him inside of the ferris wheel.

"Do you afraid of heights?" He asked me.

"Not really but if you ask me to go on a sky diving i will not to" i said then he smiled.

"I didn't know what people do when they reach the very top of the ferris wheel" he said.

Well the actually taking a picture and some of them just kissing and stuff. But I didn't want to say that to him.

"Have you ever been in one?" I asked him.

"Never" he said.

"This is your first time?" I asked him then he nodded.

"Woah it's very cool that you do it with me" i said.

"Stay there I'm going to take a picture of you for my instagram story" i said.

"I'm not going anywhere there's no way out" he said.

"It's done" i said after taking a single picture of him,

"Why don't we take a picture together?" He asked me.

"That's a good idea" i said then moved closer until i was sitting next to him.

"It is going to be a boomerang okay" i said to him.

"Okay" he said.

The sunlight was shining on us, it had a perfect sunlight while the sky was so pretty on the back.

"One two tree" i said then tapped on the screen.

He was looking at me before leaning closer then kissed my pinkish cheek, i was smiling and kinda surprised when he kissed me.

We looked so good together, it was a beautiful picture of us in the ferris wheel. We reached the very top of the ferris wheel then looked down, it wasn't that high but we still could look a beautiful view from up there. I took a lot of pictures with my phone until the Ferris wheel finally reached the bottom again.

"It was fun right?" I asked them.

"Yeah it was" he said.

"It's getting cold lets get back to the hotel shall we?" He asked me.

"How about dinner?" I asked him.

"My friend and i used to look around the hotel but i guess we're going to order a food into our room" he said.

"Why?" I asked him.

"Because we're tired of walking around this Luna park, and you should stop asking like a 6 years old girl okay" he said before putting his hand on top of my head then pull me closer by my head before kissing the top of my head.

I felt comfort every time he pulled me closer like that but i knew he only did that because we were in front of so many people, it confused me when he could be that sweet and carrying.

"Alex where are we going?" I believe Michael was the one who called him which made me stop walking.

"Back to the hotel" he said.

"What about our dinner?" Makaila asked.

"I'm going to order it at the hotel" he said.

"I think we're going to go on a night walk first before getting back to the hotel" Leon said.

"Yeah like we always have" Jane said and they sounded like an adventurer.

"That sounds fun" i said.

"I know!" Makaila said.

"No i think We're going to get back to the hotel" he said.

"Okay you guys can do Whatever you want we'll see you tomorrow!" Michael said.

"Yeah okay bye" Makaila said then we went to separate ways.

"Are you tired old man?" I asked him.

"Stop calling me old man we are only two years different" he said.

"I'm sorry" i said.

"Lets get back to the hotel" he said while holding on my hand.

We were freshly showered and we were waiting for our dinner inside of our hotel room, i was watching a tv show in fox well it was one of my favorite. Alex didn't really pay attention to the television when he had his phone on his hand and sometimes it annoyed me when he was almost all the time in his phone.

I grabbed on my phone that had been charged since we got back from the park, i grabbed it and it 100% charged so I unplugged it. I began to check on my text messages but got nothing, i opened the Instagram app then reopened my Instagram story. It was a really fun time that i got with him, we really got so much fun.

Kelsie :

Hey hows  in Sydney?

I smiled when i got a text message from her,

Bella Clark :

It's fun and yeah I enjoy it.

Kelsie :

Well the paparazzi did enjoy too, you guys seem having a lot of fun

Bella Clark :

They followed us here?

Kelsie :

Yeah of course you're Bella clark!

Bella Clark :

Oh yeah i forgot

I said even though i felt a little upset cause thinking about what he did the whole day was fake just because of the camera, when the back of my mind think it was true.

Kelsie :

Anyway have you seen Charlie's newest post?

Bella Clark :

What is it?

Kelsie :

Just see it, your fans are loving it!

Bella Clark :

Okay.

I closed the text message app then went to Instagram to look into what Charlie just posted, I tapped on the last post then it was a Christmas video of us back in Alex's house.

A smiled appeared on my face when the one minute video started to play, it started from the time we decorated the Christmas tree with Noah. Alex and i was wearing a pajamas complete with a socks without even i realized that we had the same style back in Christmas.

The clip showing the tree of us decorating the tree while Kelsie and Charlie were sitting on the couch. It showed our Christmas socks on top of the fireplace then to our dinner, there was a clip of Kelsie cooking in Alex's kitchen.

The song was Santa tell me from Ariana Grande just like what we had heard almost all night that night. It also showed the Christmas morning where Noah running around the living room when he was excited for his present, next was the clip of Charlie kissing his beloved wife Kelsie which made me smile. They are my favorite couple, they're like my own parents.

"Merry Christmas" i said to the camera then the clip showed when Charlie hugged me with the camera.

"Merry Christmas!!" Noah said to the camera while showing his little cute teeth and that made me smile.

The next part was the part where Alex finally woke up with his black oversized sweater and he still looked cutely sleepy. I smiled when the camera zoom into his face, he came into the living room to hugged Noah then there was a clip where he hugged me and that's very cute of us.

Then it showed when we opened the present from one another in the living room where Noah hugged me because he was thankful for his present, then there was Kelsie hugged me then when Alex opened his present.

The next part was when Noah said that Alex and I stepped under the mistletoe, then we kissed under the mistletoe which caught on Charlie's camera and he put it inside of the cute Christmas video. The last part was where Noah and Charlie next to one another then the camera was right in front of them,

"God please give us all a happy life and thank you for everything you've done for us" Noah said while closing both of his eyes and that was the cutest part of the video.

"Why are you smiling at your phone? I thought you're watching the tv" Alex suddenly said before crawling closer into me.

"You have to see this, Charlie made it" i said then gave my phone to him.

We watched it together than he smiled through the video, so did i. It was a really cute video that caught everyone's attention.

"I love it so much, I'm going to repost it" i said while we're watching the video together.

"Charlie has a beautiful family" he said.

"Yeah" i said.

After he watched it i could tell he liked it as well, cause i could see a smile when he watched the video with me. The door bell suddenly rang and there was the time where our dinner was finally there. Alex got up to take it while i was busy looking at people's reaction through it, until I found out the video was already being repost by so many people, fandom and some relationship account saying that we're goals and things.

I read the last comment was from my own dad, i do wanna know how was his expression when he looked at this video of his own daughter spent Christmas with another family.

I tapped on his account and he's been posting a lot of pictures of his family and himself on Christmas and their vacation for the new year's eve party which looked kinda fun. I frowned when i see it on my phone screen, well i missed  it when traveling only the tree of us but you know it won't happen again.

"Bell it's time for dinner" Alex called me from the living room.

"Yeah" i said then got up from the bed.

"You okay?" He asked me.

"I'm fine, I'm just hungry" i lied then started to eat on my dinner.

My phone was buzzing next to my head which made me awake in the middle of the night, the room was already dark and Alex was asleep next to me. He looked peacefully asleep, i was scared if my phone's buzz was going to wake him up but it didn't.

I looked into the phone screen which shone so bright in the middle of the dark room, it was my dad and i was surprised cause i just texted him then he called me right away.

"Hi dad" i said to the phone while sitting on the bed leaning into the headboard while looking at the glass wall that Alex forgot to close.

"Hi honey, how are you?" He asked me.

"I'm fine dad, how are you?" I asked him.

"I'm fine too" he said then i smiled while my hand was playing with the bed sheets.

"Where are you right now?" He asked me.

"Sydney" i said.

"That's sounds cool, I'm in Canada" he said.

"Oh yeah? What are you doing?" I asked him.

"I've been here since Christmas, We're spending out holiday in Jennifer's parents house" he said.

Jennifer is his wife now they have a wonderful family with 3 kids, 2 daughters and a son how wonderful right? The oldest one was 17 now dad married at the same year when he got divorced from mom. Then Jen gave birth to a girl which technically my dad's daughter too.

"Oh cool" i said.

"So you have a new boyfriend now" he asked me.

"Yeah" i said.

"How is he?" He asked me.

"He's amazing" i said.

"Bella" he called my name.

"Yes dad?" I said.

"About Anthony I've heard about it and he's just a dumb bastard to leave you and talking shit about you like that. He'll regret it for leaving a beautiful strong girl like you" he said then it made me smile.

"Thanks dad" i said.

"So he is Alexander Adams?" He asked me then i smiled.

"Yeah" i said.

"Is he a keeper?" He asked me and somehow it made me sad to lie to him and especially to myself.

"Uhuh" i said.

"Uhh bel" he said.

"I know if I'm trying to tell you or warn you to make sure that he should treat you right i will look like a fool cause I've failed marriage once" he said then somehow his voice made me missed him so much and i kinda missed everything we used to do together when i was a kid.

Riding a bike, climbing a tree, swim in the lake, play at the beach, flying in one plane, playing in the snow. I still remember all of those things that i do and times that i had spent with him.

"But you have to know that I've never regret for those beautiful 5 years with you and your mom" he said, my nose felt hurt and i was troubling with my breath cause i was about to cry with what he just said.

I really missed both of them.

"And i always feel thankful that i have you as my daughter" he said.

A tear finally felt from my eyes feeling like i was too hard at him through all these years,

"You know i wish i could give you a better life but as a father i know i failed bell, I'm sorry for that" he said.

"I started to accept that you're growing up then you started to live your own life and maybe you hate me because of our broken home family"  he said.

"I started to accept that you're started to walk away from my life to look for a better life. Well as a father i want the best for you so i told myself to let you go slowly even if it is so hard to see you walk away" he said.

"I just want you to know that i will always love you, i love you so so much i want the best for you" he said.

"I miss everything we used to do together like riding a horse, surfing haha" he laughed, cause I remembered i hate surfing cause I couldn't do it.

"Have you tried to do it again?" He laughed then i shook my head while smiling, remembering the good time that we had together.

"No" i laughed while also crying.

"You hated it, you always fell" he still remember.

"Yeah" i let out a sigh while smiling.

"I'm sorry i failed but i will never fail to love you my girl" he said.

"I love you too dad" i said to him with a cracky voice.

"I miss you so much" i said while crying.

"I miss you too" he said.

"I'm sorry bell" he said.

"I'm sorry..," i closed my eyes while trying to not to cry.

"Dad" i said.

"I gotta go i'll text you later okay?" He said.

"Yeah i hope to see you very soon" i said.

"Me too, i love you my daughter" he said then i smiled even the tears left my eyes.

"I love you too" i said then the phone call ended with my eyes full of tears and an uncontrollable breath.

I covered my mouth with my hands while slowly crying, I didn't want to wake Alex up so i tried to be as quite as possible until Alex suddenly got up from the bed to put an arm around me.

"Hey" he said through the dark quiet room.

"I've heard everything I'm sorry" he said while sitting on the bed next to me.

He was trying to look at me before pulling me closer into his warmth body to comfort me, his hand was running on my hairs slowly stroking it. His arms were wrapped around me as i cried on his chest, his breath was brushing against my head and i could hear his heartbeat while his chin was right on top of my head.

We stayed there for a long time until I didn't realize that i fell asleep in his arm,
