Chapter 39 - I'm scared

We packed some of our stuffs then we moved into his penthouse right on the top of his office building, he makes sure that no one will know that we live here except his men, Luna, and of course Glenn.

Luna feels awful to leave me alone but it isn't a big deal, she was being tricked too. Any mother will freak out if the hospital inform you when her child is taken to the hospital because of an accident. The penthouse is huge and it isn't so empty, it feels like it always being cleaned every day.

We got into one of the room in the penthouse and i watch Alex fixing the blanket on the bed, I'm still in shock for what just happened to me. I know I will not sleep tonight, my eyes will not shut, it will be open for the rest of the night just because of my thoughts.

I stay in a silent while I watch Alex fixing the bed, both of my arms are being crossed right in front of my tummy. My feet is on the cold black marble floor while my stares are onto the white bed,

"Bell," His low voice pull me out from my day dreaming.

"Huh," I said.

"You can sleep now" He said then I slowly nodded.

His face is tired and I don't want him to be more tired cause he's been working for the rest of the day then he had to take care of this problem.

I got into the bed and cover myself with a grey blanket, I stay in a silent cause I don't know what to talk. A music suddenly being played from the big speakers on the night stand, the speaker is playing a chill music before Alex got into the bed.

The light is being turned off so the room is pretty dark, all I can hear is the song.

"Babe," I said.

"Yes?" He turns his body around to look at me who's laying on the headboard staring blankly into the tv in front of us.

"I'm..," I said.

"I'm scared," I said.

After he heard that he got up then lean onto the headboard.

"I'm sorry, i know you must be tired," I said.

"No" He said.

"I'm sorry, it's all because of me," He blames on himself.

"You shouldn't say that," I said to him.

I move closer into him then lay my head on his shoulder,

"I love you no matter what okay," I said to him.

"I love you more" He said before kissing on my cheek.

"You should sleep," I said.

"I'm going to sleep if you sleep too" He said.

"You have to work tomorrow," I said.

"I always feel safe when I'm close to you," I said while connecting our hands together.

He slowly leans closer until his lips crashing on mine, it kisses me slowly and in passionate way. I close my eyes while he's kissing me, our body slowly moves and our hand are messing up with one another's. His lip is wet and soft, it  feels hot when it touches against my cold skin. His lip is kissing against my neck right on the sweet spot where my hands are messing with his dark brown hair.

His lips are back onto mine, he kisses me passionately while his hand is brushing against my skin. His kiss seems hypnotizing me to forget about our problem for a moment, I know it isn't just a lust. He has his own reasons to do this to me, I know he wants me to forget about it for a moment.

We made out the whole night until I fell asleep in his arms,

"Good morning" is the first word I heard when I got up in the morning.

The curtain was already being opened, revealing a great views from up here. He's well dressed and I cannot lie that I still feel so scared of being left alone.

"Kelsie is coming today, you won't be alone" he said like he just read my mind.

"And if you need me I'll be downstairs" he said mentioning about his office that technically under our penthouse.

"Are you sure everything is going to be alright?" I asked him.

"This time he has no access to anywhere" He said.

"Have the police called you?" I asked him.

"They haven't" He said.

"Luna she's already here, she also made us a breakfast" He said.

"Thank you" I said.

"Okay babe I got a meeting in a minute" he said before kissing me on the forehead.

"Bye" I said.

"Bye" He said.

Alex left for the whole day and all I did all day was watching Netflix all by myself. Glad he came home early cause he only needs an elevator to get back here.

"Welcome home," I said as he walks in.

"Hey" he said, he looks weird but his eyes are full of lust,

"I need you," he said then he smashed his lips on mine.

I was doing nothing then he came home

like this, he confuses me. he pulls me closer into his body and I can feel a bulge.

His lips is messing with my lips and this time it is kinda harsh. His grasp are stronger that it used to be, my back hit the dining table pretty hard cause he pushed me.

He broke the kiss just to take his pants off, i was confused when he came home then do this right away. He pulled my undies off before slip inside right away, I moaned when he thrust inside deeply.

My legs are shaking when he thrust deeply I feel like I'm no longer can stand. And it seems like he noticed so he pick me up into his waist,

He was going on a rough tone but then I stopped him by pushing him away by my hands and my toes,

"What the fuck are you doing?!" I said to him.

"Making love to you," He said.

"It wasn't love, it was lust of anger," I said.

"What happened to you Alex?" I asked him.

"I want you" He said.

"Why?!" I said.

"It's not love!" I said.

"I'm not an object," I said.

"You hurt me," I said.

I look into him for a minute before walking away from him, feeling disgusted and confused for what just happened to him.

Alex and I haven't talked for what just happened he slept next to me yesterday but I haven't seen him since this morning. When I woke up, he wasn't even there. He didn't even apologize for what he's done.

After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I decided to go into the dining room. I met Luna who's cooking in the kitchen,

"Morning Bella," She said.

"Morning," I said.

"Did you meet Alex this morning?" I asked her.

"Yeah I did, he only drank a water then he just gone," She said.

He never skipped breakfast before, is it just me or is he acting different since yesterday?

"The breakfast is ready if you need anything I'll be cleaning this house" She smiled before leaving me alone in the dining room.

I grabbed a fork then began to eat my food, I slowly eschew the egg while my mind is everywhere. What should I do when he comes home? I will probably talk to him about what happened yesterday and Alex, he's the type of a guy that apologizes first. I'm probably expecting him coming home with an apology,

I took the plate into the living room where I can watch the tv while eating my breakfast, I turned the tv on so I can watch something. I was watching a movie series until my phone buzzed because of the text messages from Kelsie.

Kelsie :

God your news is everywhere

Kelsie :

They won't shut their mouth

I realized that this case will be so popular around people, especially for the people that live around us.

Mom :

Honey are you okay?

Mom :

I'm going to visit you next week, no matter you like it or not

Dad :

Bella, are you safe?

Dad :

Should I visit you?

Stacy :

Bell are you fine? Oh my god I'm worried about you.

I let out a breath,

The news just spread yesterday and they've been contacting me since yesterday night, but I wasn't in the mood to reply to them.

Bella Clark :

I'm fine mom, you don't have to

Bella Clark :

I'm okay dad, I'll be fine.

Bella Clark :

I'm alright stace, don't be :)

I replied to them one by one, then I saw Alex's name is right at the bottom of their names. He hasn't texted me yet, he used to text me whenever he's in the office or not. I kinda feel confuse about him, I hope everything's alright.

I've done brushing my teeth and washing my face, the clock shows that it is 1 am already. I actually used to go to bed earlier than this but Alex haven't got home yet, I'm still mad at him but I also feel worried about him. When I'm mad I don't really text or call the person first but it's getting late. And in a situation like what just happened with me, he worried me a lot.

I grabbed my phone from the night stand and began to call his number, but he didn't pick it up. His phone is on but he didn't pick up, i started to feel more worried about him. I'm scared to walk out of the room especially at night because what just happened really traumatized me, I really want to call Luna and ask her if she knows something but I'm scared to get out.

My brain suddenly told me to contact Glenn so my finger started to scroll for Glenn's number. And thank god after a few rings he finally picked up.

"Hello?" I said.

"Yes Miss Clark?" He asked me.

"Glenn where is Alex?" I asked him.

"We're in the elevator, we're almost there," He said.

"Why isn't he picking up my calls?" I asked Glenn.

"You better see him yourself Miss Clark" He said and somehow my heartbeat beat so fast, the feel of confusion and worried collided inside of my head.

I heard the ring from the elevator through the phone call and it makes me run from our room and down the stairs.

Alex has his right arm around Glenn's shoulder and he looks half awake, I'm confuse for what just happened to him so I walk closer.

"Glenn? What just happened?" I asked him while walking closer into them.

"Hey babe," Alex said and I can smell a smell of alcohol from his breath.

"He's drunk?" I asked Glenn but he just stay in a silent.

"With who?" I asked him.

"His friends miss, Leon and Michael," Glenn said it clearly.

"Girls?" I asked.

"No girls," He said.

"Give me some kiss baby," Alex said then i feel disgust, he sounds just like a fool teenager.

"Can you help me to take him to our room?" I asked Glenn.

"Of course miss" Glenn said.

He helps Alex until he got onto the bed, I thank Glenn and let him out. Now it's just Alex and I in the room, he fell asleep right away when he got into the bed. Here I am staring at him blankly wondering what's inside of his mind.

I took his shoes off then I cover his body with a blanket, i got into the bed then stare at him. He looks peacefully asleep with those long lashes fall against his cheeks. My hands slowly brush against his red cheek,

I love this man a lot, but it seems like he carries a heavy thought on his shoulder that he's scared enough to explain. I hope we can just living our life happily with no threatened like this.

"I love you," I said.

"You came into my life like a surprise present, and i feel grateful to have you in my life" I said.

"I love you so much," I said then kiss him on the forehead.
