Chapter 42 - Movie night

My eyes went open, I blink for couple times until I finally awake. The sound of the waves on the beach is pretty relaxing, Bella is still sleeping next to me. She is so beautiful, her smooth silky skin always amaze me, her soft sweet touch always brings me to cloud 9. What we had last night was amazing, she looks like an angel and it's always been so amazing.

I love this girl so much,

I cannot imagine how she feels to live under terrors like this, she cannot handle it. The terror is too heavy for a girl like her, I've been living under threatened and terror for the rest of my life but her? It seems like I am the one who makes her living like this.

I lean closer to kiss her forehead before slowly get up from the bed, I don't want to wake her up cause It's been a while since I saw her peacefully sleeping like this.

I took a shower then walk out of our room, I saw our breakfasts are ready for both of us in the dining room. I was staring at the food until the crack on the door caught my attention, Glenn is the one who caused the sound of it, he walks in with a folder on his hand.

"Sir," He said.

"Good morning," I said.

"Good morning," He said.

"What happened?" I asked him.

"These are some documents that I've been collecting that related to Miss Clark's case," He said after handing me a paper of file.

I smiled when I open the file from him, "You should've take a break glenn, we're on a vacation" I cracked a smile,

Glenn has been working so hard on this case and I'm very grateful to have my personal bodyguard like him,

"It is my responsibility sir," He said.

I smiled before slowly drink my still hot chocolate from the white mug,

"I'm sorry, but are you sure you want to do it sir?" He asked me then my lips curled into a smile.

"Yes," I said.

"Are you going to stay with me or not, it's all up to you Glenn," I said.

He stays in a silent and I have prepared myself if he chooses to quit,

"I'll be with you sir," He said.

"Thank you Glenn," I said.

"Now, just enjoy our vacation glenn it's a free 7 days before getting back to face the hard life" I said.

"Yes sir," He said then walks out of the living room.

It is a big deal, but I have to do it.

I put on a bikinis then walk out of our bedroom into the pool right in front of our room. I dipped my toes into the hot pool before slowly get in.

Alex is in his computer after we had the whole day together, I feel okay with it cause I appreciate it how he left his office just to be here with me. So him, still working, it is fine for me cause I understand that he still has so many works to do.

I stare at the beach especially to the sun which is ready to goes down, the sunset view is always my favorite. I took a breath before swimming into the edge of the pool, I want to be closer into the beach so I can watch the beautiful pink skies even closer.

The only sound I heard is the waves from the beach, it is so relaxing. Alex is right, this is the best way to take a break from the terror for a while. But I wonder when is it going to stop? I want to live my life peacefully, like the life that I used to have. But does it mean that I have to leave him? I love him so much even at first I thought there isn't going to be any reason to love him, but now I know how precious this man is. But the terror kills me slowly, it makes me scared to even step into my own house.

Meeting Alex, so many things have changed since I met him. It all started from just a simple contract from my modeling agency and I thought I was going to get a revenge to Anthony. But Alexander Adams that everyone has said that he has no heart, he's a player, cannot stay with just one woman is wrong. Well he's an asshole for the first time that I met him but he has explained to me why he acted like that. I love him so much, even though I feel like he's still hiding so many secrets from me.

There are two options to get out of this problem, leaving him or find the man behind all of these terrors and threatened. I don't want to leave him so I have to find the man and put him into jail. So I can have my life back with my love one. And about my career, it'll be back once this problem done.

I cannot imagine if I leave Alex, I cannot imagine living my life without him. He has the key to my heart and I want him to hold it forever, I love him so much.

I was watching the pink skies in front of me until I heard the glass door from our room being opened, being paranoid I am I turn my body around to look at who's trying to get outside. But I knew it must be Alex, and I was right, he walks out with a smile on his face.

"What are you doing?" He asked me.

"Watching the sunset," I said.

He smiled before taking his clothes off to join me into the pool, I turn my vision back into the beautiful beach with a mesmerizing view in front of me. No longer after I heard him swimming closer, he is finally standing right next to me.

"What are you thinking?" He asked me while I still staring at the sunset.

"Nothing," I said.

He stays in a silent so am I, we stand next to one another while staring at the sunset right in front of us.

"Alex," I said.

"Hmm" He said then I look into him who's still staring into the beach.

I can see his sharp jawline from my view and those long thick lashes complete with those hazel brown eyes under the beautiful pink skies. I am so lucky to call him my lover, I love this man so much.

My hand slowly reach his right jawline then my thumb slowly brush against his cheek, until his eyes finally look at me.

"I love you," I said then kiss his cheek.

He turns his head around to face me, his hands wrapped around my waist to pull me closer to his body.

"I love you too," He said.

I put my chin on his shoulder while my arms are puling his body closer, I enjoy how he hugs me like this. I've never feel so comfortable with a person like this until I met him.

"Do you know?" He asked me.

"Every time I look into your eyes,"

"I always feel like the luckiest man on earth," He said then it made me smile.

"Thanks for being exist," He looks into my eyes.

I blinked then a smile, he just drawn a smile on my face.

"Every time you put your sweet lips on mine, I feel like I'm in heaven," He said, then he kissed my cheek.

"You are sweet talking to me," I admit it that I'm blushing.

His brown eyes looking up at mine and I can see a much younger Alexander Adams, his pink lips slowly turns into a smile.

"You're blushing," He smiles then kiss my cheek.

"Alex what's inside of you island?" I asked him.

"Lodging, forest, beach, boat, jet-ski," He said then it makes me laugh.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked me,

"What are we going to do here the whole week?" I asked him while smiling.

"Spending time together?" He asked me.

"Don't tell me there's not connection in this island?" I asked him.

"No, there's still a good connection we can still watch a tv," He said.

"Why?" He laughed.

"Cause we're going to be so bored if there's no connection," I said.

"I'm not going to be bored if I have you," He said.

"Keep flirting Alex," I said.

"Besides I can do this," He said and I felt his hand is on my thigh,

"You naughty," I slapped his arm and it makes him laugh.

"God," He said.

"How can I resist you," He said while looking into my eyes.

"The sunset is finally done, I kinda missed it because of your sweet talk," I said then it makes him smile.

"Lets get inside then," He said,

We got out of the pool then took a shower before started to get chill in the living room, Alex is looking for a good movie to watch in the cozy living room while I make some drinks for us.

I get into the living room with two glass of fruit punch, right on time when the movie's about to start. He puts a blanket and so many pillows on the couch to make us feel comfortable.

I put the glass on the table in front of the couch then crawl onto the couch where Alex has already sat there. We're watching love Rosie, yes my all time favorite.

"We're supposed to watch this in valentines day" I mumble as both of us have our focus to the big screen.

"Can't believe it's coming very soon," I said.

"I chose this cause you told me you like it," He said.

"Really?" I asked him while my eyes looking up at him cause my head is laying on his chest.

"I've watched this movie so many times," I said.

"I haven't watched it," He said then it makes me laugh.

"You should watch it, it'll be your favorite too," I said while smiling.

Alex and I really watched the movie, we didn't talk just keep watching like we are really inside of a theater. He's really into it, I feel so happy to be this close to him where he is so calm, where I can hear the sound of his heartbeat.

"God I know at the back of their head they have feelings for one another, It's just it isn't in a right time to confess," He said when we are in the middle of the movie, and I just stay in a silent.

"This movie is so frustrating," He said then I just smile.

"Uh Sam Claflin is such a cutie," I said under my breath it seems like it caught his attention.

"When I was a teenager," I said.

"I used to spend my time inside of my room watching a movie in my room in the middle of the night," I said.

"I didn't really like watching movies, I like book more but sometimes I kinda felt like I want to look outside the window," I laughed.

"When I found a smoking hot guy in the movie, however I got shy easily," I laughed then it makes him laugh too.

"Really, I swear to god, I often hide my face behind my arm like a freak," I said.

"baby," He said before kissing the top of my head.

"When I was a teenager..," He said and from the tone in his voice it seems like he's trying to remember.

"I was a bad ass," He said and I laughed.

"I can see that," I said.

"Football was life, video games are a stress reliever," He said.

"What were you stressing about when you were a kids?" I asked him.

"Stressing about how should I really have to work to have a good grades to get the best college in the city," He said.

"Really?" I asked him.

"I swear to god," He said.

"My parents were so strict about school and grades," He said.

"They want me to be good enough to take care pf our family business," He said.

"So you were a smart bad ass guy," I said then he smiles.

"Yeah you can say that," He said.

"Interesting," I said.

"Tell me how many girls had a competition to win your heart?" I asked him.

"How about you tell me how many guys have sent you a love letter?" He asked me and I know it must be come out of nowhere from his head but it is kinda related to what really happened from my past.

I got up from my position to get my glass of fruit punch, I slowly drink it while he has his eyes on me.

"So many," I smirk and it makes him laugh.

"Oh really?" He said.

"I'm pretty sure I was pretty popular back there because of my parents," I said.

"Alex do you realize that we're acting not like an adult right now?" I asked him while facing him.

"Yeah I realize," He flashes me a sweet smile.

I put the glass back onto the table before slowly lean closer to pull his body into a warm hug, his arms automatically wrapped around my waist as he kisses my right cheek.

"So when is Alex going to finally confess to Rosie?" He asked and it is kinda funny cause the male character had the same name like him.

"You should be patience and watch, somehow when the first time I watched this, this movie felt like a long roller coaster," I said.

"Well it still feels like a long roller coaster to me," He said.

"Just watch baby," I laughed.
