Isabella Clark

"Mom where's my crayons?" I heard Eillisha's voice from outside and I realize that it's time for her to go to school in the morning.

I got up from the bed then walk out of the room to found Eillisha running around the house to find her things, somehow knowing that she's late.

"Mom???" I look at her who's trying to look for it on the couch in the living room.

"It's on the table in your play room honey," my mom said from the dining room.

"Oh good morning honey," my mom smiles when I entered the dining room.

"Morning mom, dad," I said to both mom and Jeremy.

"Morning bell," Jeremy smiles before biting his bread.

"Mom..?" I heard Eillisha called my mom, which made Jeremy got up from his seat to help Eillisha.

I laugh when I heard Eillisha is panicking about being late for school and that is so cute of her.

"Bet she's going to be a super on time lady when she grew up," I said.

"I know right," My mom said.

"Can I pick her up from school today?" I asked my mom.

"Of course honey," she smiles,

I was looking at my mom who's cooking until the doorbell is ringing, My mom looks up at me and I know she wants me to open the door.

I got up from my seat then go to the door, I open the door and got surprised.

"Glenn?" I said.

"Miss Clark," he smiles.

He's standing right in front of my front porch with a box on his hand,

"Bella is always fine," I said.

"Yeah, Bell," he smiles.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"This is some of your stuff that being left in Alex's house," he said.

Then I remember that I didn't get a chance to pack my stuff that I've left in his house after we broke up.

"Oh yeah, Thanks," I said.

"Have you ate breakfast?" I asked him then he just smile.

"Come in Glenn," I said before I open the door then let him in.

"Welcome to my mom's house," I said.

"Bell?" I heard my mom called for me.

"Just put the stuff there and Have a seat," I said.

"I'm going to get you a drink okay," I said after I told him to have a seat on the guest living room.

I got into the kitchen to grab a mug then pour a hot tea in it,

"Who is it bell?" My mom asked.

"Glenn, Alex's bodyguard," I said.

"He's here to drop my stuff," I said while pouring the sugar into the tea.

I grab the mug then bring it to Glenn who's sitting on one of the couch.

"Here," I said as I put the tea on the table.

"Thank you," he said.

"How are you?" I asked him.

"Me? It doesn't matter,"

"How are you?" He asked me back.

"Didn't get a chance to ask about how are you after the incident," he said before sipping on the tea.

"Uh," I smile.

"Still feel in shock," I smile.

I look at him while my mind is thinking how's Alex doing, I don't know where is he right now and how is he.

"Alex is find bell," Glenn smiles like he just read my mind.

"Where is he?" I asked Glenn but then I stop,

"Oh he must be working at the office," I rolled my eyes cause I know, how hectic his life is, working is his main priority.

Glenn looks up at me then smile,

"Gladly he has a good lawyer,"

"Police let him free,"

"Although I know a man like him would never do a cruel thing like that," Glenn said.

He's right, Alex is a sweet guy.

But no one will ever know.

"And he's in home," he looks at me.

"He quits," glenn said and that's what shock me.

"He wouldn't," I said in disbelief.

"Believe me, he quits before both of you broke up," He said.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I asked him.

Then he shakes his head,

"He's a great man with a brilliant brain,"

"You know he never take a risk without thinking about it," he said.

"He's been thinking about it for a long time then he finally did it," he said.

After glenn said that, it reminds me of every words I've said to Alex about my career and stuff. I broke it off because he tried to ruin my schedule unprofessionally, so I followed my emotions to call it off.

Oh my god, I didn't know about it.

The thought of what Glenn said to me still in my mind, I've been thinking about it the whole day. Now I'm here standing outside my car waiting outside Eillisha's school.

I cannot believe Alex step out of the game, I didn't expect that he would let Derek to get the family's throne. I cannot believe he did all that, why Alex.

I was staring at the children's playground while waiting for Eillisha until my phone suddenly rings. I reach it then look at the screen and it's an unknown number,

To be honest I'm scared to pick it up but I feel curious,

I pick it up then put my phone close to my ear,

"Hello?" I asked.

"It's dangerous to be alone after what you've been through you know that?" The person asked and his voice sounds familiar.

"Who's this?" I asked.

He laughs.

"Bella," he said.

"I cannot believe you deleted my number after a few days of break up," he said then I realized it's Alex.

His figure suddenly appeared in front of me, he's wearing a jacket while his hand is holding on his phone. He's walking towards me while those eyes are staring at me. My ear can hear his voice through the call while my eyes are looking at his handsome figure.

"What bell?" He asked.

"Are you scared of me?" He smiles.

I want to smile but I just can't, he confused me.

My lips won't say a word while my body is freezing,

He's getting closer and closer until he finally stopped right in front of me.

"How are you bell?" He asked me with both of his hands rest inside of his pockets.

"Why did you quit?" I asked him without answering his question.

He looks away before those beautiful lips curled into a smile,

"It doesn't matter anymore," he said.

"Of course it does," I said.

"You cannot just loose it and let Derek win," I said while looking at him seriously.

This thing matter to him, he's been working his ass of for his own company, he cannot just loose it.

"This isn't you Alex, you've been working so hard for this, you can-"

"I cannot loose you," he said.

"Because I cannot loose you," his eyes are looking at me deeply.

My eyes are looking back at him in disbelief,

"I cannot see you suffer,"

"I'm scared if anything happens to you," he said.

"I thought when I quit they'll leave us two,"

"But they want my dead body," he said.

"You shouldn't be here Alex," I said.

He still has his eyes and focus on me, but then he slowly take a step closer to close the gap between us. I feel our bodies are too close to one another where I can smell his manly colognes again,

Uh I miss this feeling,

"But I missed you," he said as his hand put a piece of my hair behind my ear.

He puts his hand on my left cheek, it makes me looking up to those gorgeous hazel eyes. His thumb slowly brush against my cheek,

"Don't you miss me bell?" His low voice asked me.

My heart is beating fast,

His face is getting closer where I can feel his hot breath against my skin. My eyes are looking at his lips until it slowly brush against mine, his sweet lips kisses mine gently.

He's kissing my lips until my back hit's my car, his lips bring me to the very top of the clouds, there's always spark and sweetness in every kisses he gave.

"Bell?"

I open my eyes then push Alex off of me, after I see Eillisha is standing right in front of us.

"Eillisha!" I panicked cause she just saw Alex kissed me,

I look up at Alex who awkwardly looking away while I try to talk to my little sister who accidentally caught her sister is making out with some guy that she doesn't know.

"Who's this?" She asked while pointing at Alex.

"He's a friend," I said.

"Oh you better get into the car okay," I said before open the car's door then put her in the car.

I close the door then looking at Alex who's still standing at the same position.

"Next time you should know that I have 6 years old sister," I said to him.

He bites his lips before smiling,

"Next time?" He asked me then I realize that It looks like I want to see him again.

I rolled my eyes before decided to leave him,

"I may not see you for a few days or maybe a week," he said which make me stop walking away.

"The killer is still out there," he said.

"So it isn't good to come out to see you like this," he said.

"But He doesn't know if we talk via phone call," he smiles.

"He's a great hacker Alex," I said.

"Just keep my contact unknown," He said before I turn around to get into my car,

"I still love you Isabella Clark,"

I froze when he said that,

"And I know you know that," he said.

"I'll call you, take care," he said before I heard his footsteps walking away from me.

I stay in a silent before turning my head to see him walking away from me. Seeing him walking away from me make my heart breaks even more, to be honest I don't want him walking away from me. I want him to be close to me but, I have a family to protect.

He's all I need, but being with him, there are a lot of consequences that I have to face.

I look at him once again before got into the car then began to drive home,

"Who's that Bell?" Eillisha asked me.

"Someone that I really know well," I smile.
