Chapter 49 - Surprises

I drove back to home and let Eillisha run into the house while I'm walking behind her with a head full of thoughts. What just happened? I just met Alex and he said that he quits from his job? I cannot believe I didn't know that this things is coming, he shouldn't quit because of me.

Or am I just too selfish? All I think is only about myself, I care about my career too much then I forgot that he was also loosing his career because of me?

My mind is still so full of thoughts but I try my best to hide it, I just don't want my mom to get worry when she knows that I met Alex today. He said that the killer is still out there, it freaks me out.

After dinner I got into my room and lay on my bed. I stare at the white ceiling on top of me, what should I do now. I really want to get back to my job as a model but Kelsie been canceling my upcoming job because of this problem. But what else going to make me forgot beside making myself busy?

The room was full of silent until my phone buzzed, I reach it from the night stand next to my bed. I look at the notifications from my phone screen,

Unknown :

Hey, have you save my number?

I look at it and with a second I know it must be Alex,

I really want to ignore it but, my life is so messed up right now. My head is full of question mark in it.

Isabella Clark :

You shouldn't meet me until they found the killer Alex.

Unknown :

I'm not meeting you, I'm texting you.

He replied so fast but then I lock my phone before throw it away from me. A minute later I heard a knock on the door then Eillisha and my mom got in.

"Hey," I said before getting up from my bed to let them in.

I watch Eillisha crawls onto the bed then my mom sit behind her, they look so excited like they're about telling me a good news.

"So..," my mom said.

"Eillisha really likes horses," she said.

"And She's going to ride a horse tomorrow do you want to come with us?" My mom asked me then I can say no when I look into Eillisha's excited face.

"Of course," I said.

Eillisha is so happy then she hugs me with her tiny little arms. I am surprised cause I've never imagine that a half sister like her would hug me like this.

"I love you," she said.

I stay in a silent after I heard what she said to me, she loves me?

"I love you too," I said.

I can see a smile on Ellisha's face when she put on her boots and her hats on. She looks so excited to ride a horse, this is her first time.

"Do you want to ride a horse too Bell?" My mom asked me while we're looking at Eillisha.

"No thanks mom," I laugh.

"She's so brave," I said.

"When I was a girl like her I'm afraid of so many things," I laugh.

"No you didn't," my mom smiles.

"You were so brave, you never cry when I brought to the doctor, you never scared of any injections," she said then I smile.

"But I'm scared to ride a go kart with dad," I said.

"You were scared at first but then you just drove it, you were good," she said then we laugh.

"Listen Bell, you might not have a beautiful childhood memories with us," she said.

"That's our fault and please forgive us," she said.

"Oh it's so last season I've forgot it," I said

"No but bell, it's never to late to make a new one," She said.

She's right, it is never to late to start all over again. It's never to late to make a happy memory again, and it's never to late to start it all again with Alex.

She's right,

"Thank you mom," I said then pull her into a hug.

"Your welcome baby," she said while hugging me.

"Anyway," I said.

"I need to pee," I said.

"Okay go away shooh," she said then we laugh.

I walk away then started to look for a bathroom, the bathroom is empty so I got in right away. After that I washed my face then looking at myself on the mirror, and I feel like I kinda miss having a job. I miss walking on the runway and I miss having my social media, Kelsie suggested me to take a break from social media after the news spread. But I know it's only going to be a couple weeks and I probably going to have my life back.

I turn around then walk out of the bathroom. I was making my way back to where my mom is waiting until a gloves suddenly covered my nose and mouth. I tried to scream for help while trying so hard to get away, I know if I give up I'm probably going to die.

But the strong scent from the gloves is way to strong It makes my eyes so heavy.

Then I black out.

My eyes flutter open and the view is blurred, my head is so heavy, I feel so dizzy. I try to open my eyes until I realize that my hands are being tied up.

"Welcome back to the world princess," A familiar voice suddenly greeted me.

A man with an all black clothes standing in front of me, I look up at his face then gasp.

"What?"

"Surprised?" He asked me while smiling.

It is the man that has been following me since the last few months, the man that has been stalking me. Didn't the police confirmed that they found him dead?

"What? You think I'm dead?" He said before laughing so hard like it is so funny for him.

Is he psycho?

He keeps laughing until he turns around and I see Alex also being tied on a chair but his face looks swollen. He looks at me with a blank eyes while his skin is sweating.

"Oh look!" The man said.

"You should say thanks to me cause I make you both reunited!" He said then began to laugh.

My breathing is unstable while my whole body is shaking, I feel so terrified and scared. It is so cold in this room, and I only have a shirt and a leggings on.

"Bella, I'm sorry," Alex said.

"Shut up! Who told you to speak?" The guy point Alex with a gun on his hand.

"You killed my brother!" He scream at Alex's face.

"He didn't," I said which make him now pointing a gun at me.

"You two are fucking!"

"Idiot!" He said then shoot the gun right through the ceiling.

I feel so scared, this guys is a total Psycho, he has lost his mind. My breathing is so unstable while my body cannot stop shaking.

"He told me that you killed him!" He screams at Alex while pointing the gun to Alex's head.

Alex's eyes are looking at me hopeless, there is nothing that we can do right now. But I cannot watch him die and suffer like this.

"Who is he?" I try to distract him even though my voice is also shaking.

His face turns around then his eyes are looking straight at me with a devil in his eyes. He walks into me before putting his hand on my chin the squeeze my face with his hand. I groan cause it hurts,

"Who told you to speak Lady?!" He screams at my face.

I know that I'm going to die tonight,

"Don't touch her!" Alex said from his seat.

"You! Shut up!" The man suddenly punch Alex's face with his gun which make a blood runs out of his nose.

I wanna scream but I cannot, I don't want to see him suffer. I don't wanna die tonight.

"If you talk again I promise that I will make you suffer!" He said to my face before letting me go.

A tear fell from my eyes while sweats also came out of my skin. I cannot be in this situation this between life or death. Surviving or dead, I cannot do this.

The man's phone suddenly buzzed then he check on it. I look at Alex who has his eyes on me, he looks at me while saying that he's sorry.

"Oh it looks like the traffic is horrible outside, he texted me to have fun before we kill you!" He said before throwing his phone away.

"Let's see, what are we going to do to you?" He asked while walking around us.

My body is still shaking while wishing that it's just a dream.

"Oh I see," he said then smiles at me.

"You are a model,"

"I watched you walking here and there,"

"All you need is your body," he said and he sounds like a total psychopath.

"So how about?"

"Making you a mark? On it?" He asked me.

"With this?" He asked the pull out a knife from his pocket.

"No please, no," I said.

"Please," I said and started to cry.

He began to lift up my shirt while laughing like my suffer is so funny for him.

"Oooh it's gonna be hurt!" He said then I keep begging and begging.

The knife almost touch my left stomach until Alex told him to stop,

"Stop please, do it on me!" Alex said.

"What did you say?" The man turns around then walking towards him.

The room stays in a silent, all I can hear is the steps of the man that walking closer and closer to Alex.

"What! Did! You! Say!" He screams like he's insane.

He's a total insane.

The tears can't stop falling from my eyes as I watch them walking away from me.

"Do it on me," Alex said.

"As you wish," the man said hen lift up his white shirt which revealed his athletic abs.

"I'm going to draw a broken heart cause you're so pathetic," the man said.

No, no no no.

A moment later all I can hear is Alex who's screaming because of the pain he feels on his skin. I shut my eyes close while the tears keep falling from my eyes, hearing the one that I love suffer in front of me.

Alex keep screaming and groaning until the man got up then leave him. When the man left him I can see blood running out of his stomach, I can see a fresh cut from where I'm sitting. He is sweating because of the pain and his skin is covered by blood, he looks so in pain.

"Alex," I whispered then crying.

He looks so desperate and like he has no hope. He's holding the pain while suffering in front of me. I cannot see this oh my god,

"Oh! He's here!" The man sounds so excited before he opens up the garage.

We're actually trapped in a big garage, but it isn't a car garage it is more like a plane garage. When the garage open a car got in and it stops, a man walks out of the car and I'm not surprised to see who is he.

"Sir," the man smiles at him.

"What did you do?" He smiles while asking the man who kid nap us.

"I just made a symbol on his stomach cause he's pathetic sir," the man said then laughs.

"Nice to see you again Bella,"

"Derek," I said.

"Yeah me, why? Surprised?" He asked me then I shake my head.

"How can you did all these to your brother?" I asked him.

"Oh he's my step brother, or more like a competitor," he said before smiling.

"Oh before we started to kill you both, I want you two to meet my fiancee," he said then the car door open.

A heels step out of the car then a girl walks out,

I cannot believe it,

"Gina?" Alex asked with a low voice.

"Hey boss," she said then she stands right next to Derek.

I cannot believe that she betrayed Alex?!

How can she?

I thought she's a good person!
