Chapter 17 - I Guess I Am

"So you're saying that you want me to sleep in the same bed as you?" I asked and he nodded innocently. I looked at him disbelief.

"We're not having sex.. we're sleeping side by side. The other rooms are for my guards." He said and I scoffed.

"Be a gentleman and sleep on the floor." I said and he shook his head.

"I'm an asshole so I sleep on the bed." He said that so I decided to ignore him. I walked to the left side of the bed and laid there. I walked to the right side of the bed and got into the blanket. I closed my eyes ready to sleep but Lucas pulled me to him. He trapped me inside his arms.

"Lucas.." I protested.

"Cooperate with me, Crystal." He said and I decided to stop pushing him away. He snuggled more to me until I can feel his breathing on my skin. I was so uncomfortable at first but.. I found myself loving the warmth that he gave me.

"How's your family like?" He asked.

"Well.. I have a really protective dad. He loves me a lot but not as equal as my mom. When he's with me.. he's just a dad but when he's in the office. He's pretty scary." I said and chuckled remembering my dad. Suddenly I miss him..

"How about your mom?"

"She's the sweetest person alive but she's a damn monster when she's mad. She loves working and she's really good at persuading people."

"Hmmm and then.." He asked again but in a really sleepy tone.

"You're sleepy.. go to sleep." I said and he hugged me tighter.

"Cooperate with me, woman." He mumbled.

"Yes." I said and I closed my eyes.

"Good." He mumbled and I found myself going to dreamland too.

I opened up my eyes slowly and I looked around. My eyes widen when I found myself wrapping my arms around him. What the hell is wrong with my head? I slowly pulled up my arms and slipped away from him. I walked to the bathroom to wash up. I walked out from the room with a towel wrapped around my body. I walked to the other room to pick a new fresh clothes. I decided to go for a grey tanktop and black shorts.

I walked to the edge of the ship and looked at the beautiful view again and again. I can't stop admiring the beautiful view. I turned my head to the clock and it's 8 in the morning.

"Want to see the sunrise my ass.. what a liar.." I hissed and crossed my arms in front of my chest. I sat down and one of the guards asked me if I want a drink so I asked him for a cup of coffee.

"I asked you to cooperate with me." I turned my head to him and saw him yawning and rubbing his eyes.

"What should I do? Wait for you to wake up? I woke up 40 minutes ago while you just woke up now." I said completely pissed.

"I woke up at 4 but.. you were sleeping to peacefully and.. even snore.. so I let you sleep instead of waking you up." He said.

"I want to see the sunrise."

"Tomorrow.. I promise." He said and I looked at him suspiciously.

"I promise, Crystal." He said seriously and I looked away.

"You're cute when you snore."

"Thanks for the compliment." I said sarcasticly and he slipped his arms around my waist from the back. He put his head on my shoulder.

"Do you know how to dive?" He asked.

"Of course."

"Good.. let's dive after we eat breakfast." He kissed my cheek and I glared at him for that.

"Cooperate with me, babe."

"Asshole." I mumbled. He chuckled and then left me alone there. He walked back in to the ship and I sat down there. I closed my eyes and inhaled the sea breeze. I leaned back to my seat trying to enjoy this short getaway.

"Crystal.. Crystal.." Lucas called and poked my arm a few times. I opened my eyes slowly and turned my head to him.

"Can't believe you sleep again.. Do you have 2 episodes for sleeping?" He asked and I nodded lightly.

"Let's go eat breakfast." He said as he pulled my hand. I stood up and looked around me to process everything. He pulled me and then put his arm around my shoulder.

"Never.. ever wake me up when I'm sleeping. I will kick your ass next time." I said as I still in sleeping mode.

"Yes, granny." He joked and I smacked his chest.

"Don't be an asshole."

"I am one." He said as we walked into the dining room. There's a lot of food this morning until I can't decide. I picked a sandwich, cereal and waffle.

"This is a lot of food." I said.

"Yeah.. all for you, beautiful." He said in a sweet tone and I can't help but rolled my eyes.

"Give all rest of the foods to your guards." I said and he shook his head.

"For what?"

"Give it all to them." I said seriously and he looked at me confuse.

"I will cooperate with you if you cooperate with me." I said and he chuckled hearing me that.

"Nice comeback."

"Cooperate or not?" I hissed and he nodded. We started to dig into our foods until I decided to ask him a few questions.

"Don't you miss your family?" I asked.

"Yeah.. I miss them like a lot" He answered.

"Do you often visit them?"

"Yeah once every 3 years.." I looked at him disbelief. He just shrugged and continued to eat again.

"You are damn crazy."

"I can't risk their lives.. I do want to visit them everyday but I can't. Gosh woman.. you always see me as the bad guy." He said and then he continued to eat. I found myself looking at him.. I don't know why..

"You are a bad guy, you can't blame me if I think about you that way. I mean you shot me.. hurt me.. and now kidnapped me." I said and he looked up to me.

"I guess I am.." He said and then back to eating again. I sighed and decided to shut my mouth.
