Big Bad Scary (not cute) Alpha

The next morning I woke up at 4:30a.m. I had told my training group to meet out front at 5 since they would leave for school at 7. Gave me an hour and a half to train and gave them enough time to shower and change. I pull on my training shorts and a tank top. I pull my leather jacket on over and head downstairs. It would be cold while I waited. I had pulled together 11 kids from this new pack. So including Allison I had 12 to train. This group was smaller than our real training groups. It was about half the size, meaning it should be easier. Key word being should. I was excited to work with my little mate. Though I may not get much a chance because of Allison. I sat outside and went through my phone. I had a bit of a surprise for the 11 new members if they did well today. I knew they would love it.

I watch as 2 of the boys come out. They come over to me with looks of excitement. "We're ready for training Alpha!" They say, making me chuckle. "I don't think you'll be saying that when I start working you." I say, making their excitement die down. "Start stretching while we wait for everyone else." I tell them, laughing. They nod and walk to the more open area. I watch as more of my group comes out. Allison comes over to me with a nervous smile. "I think it's sweet that you're willing to take time out of your morning to train all of us." She tells me. I nod slowly. "It's my job. Besides, I like helping my pack. Start streching." I nod towards the others and she nods before running over and following the others in stretching.

I look at the time and see its almost 5. My mate isn't here yet, and neither is one of the boys. I look over to the group all stretching together and laughing. "I am going to go see where the other 2 are. You guys start sparing with each other. One on one. We've got an even group so choose a partner. Who you choose will be your partner here on out." I tell them. They all scramble around but easily find a partner. I nod and go back up to the house. I walk in and look around the living room and kitchen but nobody is there. I go upstairs and before I turn the hall to go towards Violet's room I hear a low growl.

I stop and listen. "I don't see why you are rejecting me. I know you secretly want me. Just because you're 15 doesn't mean you can't screw around time to time. Come on just a little kiss and we can go down." I hear the boy, Chad's, voice. I hear a whimper and my wolf snarls, recognizing it as our mate. "I said no Chad.. please let me go." I feel my wolf try to take over. "Do you want me to force you? Because I can. Actually, that may be more fun." He laughs. I'd had enough. I walk out and see exactly what I didn't want to. Chad was holding Violet's hands against the wall above her head, leaning forward to try and kiss her, while Violet struggled to get away with tears in her eyes.

I snarl loudly and he backed away from her quickly. "A.. Alpha. I thought you'd be waiting outside." He stuttered, making me growl. My wolf was pissed, and so was I. "What do you think you are doing?" I ask in a deadly tone. "Uh nothing. We're just having a little fun! Right Violet?" He looks at her as if a warning. I push him into the wall and hold him there. "If I see you touch any woman the way you just touched her, I will lock you up like the dog you are." I snarl, making him stare at me with fear filled eyes. "You have no respect. I don't want to see you within 20 feet of that girl, do you understand me?" I ask, anger starting to take over. "Y.. yes Alpha!" He said quickly. I shove him again before moving away. "Forget training. I train wolves, not dogs." I snap. He yelps then turns and runs down the hallway.

Once he is out of sight I turn to Violet who had slid to the floor after Chad had released her. "Are you alright Violet?" I ask in a calm voice. I reach to help her up but she flinched and looked at me with wide eyes. "It's alright. I won't hurt you. I won't let anyone do that to you again alright." I tell her softly, reaching my hand out and brushing the hair away from her face. She nods. "Do you still wanna go to training?" I ask her, hoping she will say yes. She nods slowly. "I'll be ok.. I never thought I'd see you like that.." She says, now letting me help her to her feet. I frown. "Like what?" I ask, curious of her answer. "Big Bad Scary Alpha." She says, laughing. I smirk and shrug. "When I have to be. What did you think I was before?" I ask with curiosity. She smiles up at me. "Just the cute, kind Alpha." She blushes as she realizes what she said. "I am not cute." I growl, but find myself smiling as well, she giggles. "I believe you are. A cute puppy." She teases, making my wolf growl at the insult. "I'm no pup." I tell her, making her laugh and shrug. I roll my eyes and open the door for her to walk out.

Everyone is working and I nod in approval. They stop as we approach. "Where's Chad?" One of them asks. "We had a little problem. He is no longer going to be joining us." I tell them with a shrug. I see Violet look at the ground as I say this. I notice the boy growl. He walked over to my mate. "Are you ok?" He asked her. I watch him carefully. How did this boy know what happened? Or maybe he didn't. I remember his name to be Aaron. Violet nods and the guy looks at me with a confused and worried look. I smile and give him a small nod. He seems to get it because he nods in return and goes back to his partner. "Since we are uneven now, I will be your partner Violet. You think you can handle me?" I smirk as I say this. "I think I can handle you Mr. Alpha." She says, laughing.

I can see Allison to the side. She's glaring at Violet. Jealousy is not a good thing, especially when its between high school girls. She can handle it though. I won't let her hurt my Violet. "Alright everyone get with your partner. I want you to try and pin them down for 3 seconds. Now remember, this is a friendly fight. We do not actually harm our partner. However, saying that, we are practicing for real battle, if you can't take being slammed on the ground, I suggest you leave." I look around as I say this, but everyone looks very confident. I nod and everyone turns towards their partners. I turn to Violet. "Just a small hint, if your partner is bigger than you, find a way to use their weight and size against them." I smirk as I say this, looking straight at Violet. She looks determined and confident.

I hear everyone else start and I nod to her. She runs at me and I easily dodge her hit. She quickly turns back and goes to kick me. I grab her ankle and she growls, spinning and kicking my arm with her other foot, causing me to release her. She makes fast moves and I have a difficult time keeping up with her speed. I forgot how fast small girls are. I notice her running out of breath. I take the opportunity and grab her arms, spinning her around and pinning them against her back. I chuckle as she lets out a sigh of frustration. "You'll get it eventually. You have to figure out a way to knock me down. Once you get me on the ground, it will be easier to pin me. You're very fast, and that is a good thing. I had some trouble keeping up for a moment there. If you can get to where you don't run out of breath so easily, you can use that speed to your advantage." I release her as I say this and she nods. "Though you had the advantage, I am wearing a leather jacket that limits my movement." I glare at her and she giggles. "Lets see if you can catch me without an advantage." I say, stripping my jacket off. I watch her eyes go to my arms and I smirk, throwing my jacket to the side. "Or are you to distracted?" I ask, making her blush and look away. I laugh, but stop when she runs at me, hitting my chest and knocking me back. I catch myself. "Good job, get me when I'm distracted. What you got next?" I ask. She smirks and runs at me again.

After me pinning her about 6 more times I told everyone to stop and run the last 20 minutes. After running I was feeling very sweaty, and gross. As we walk back to the house I pull my shirt off over my head. I look to my side to see if Violet was looking. I'll be honest, I'm acting like a teenage boy searching for a girls attention, but this was the only way to know if she found me interesting or not. I see her look at me with wide eyes before looking away with bright pink cheeks. I smile, feeling accomplished. My wolf felt the same way.

We get back to the house and I turn to face everyone. My wolf growls at the sight of the other females staring at me with wide eyes. He wanted only our mate to look at us. "We will meet same time tomorrow everybody. Go get showers, you leave for school in half an hour. Before you 10 new members leave come find me in my room. I have something for you all." As I say this they all nod and walk past me to go inside. Allison is the only one who stays. I frown. "What's up Allison?" I ask, feeling slightly annoyed, but I hide it. "I was just wondering... um.. what are you doing tonight?" She says it so fast I barely understand what she is asking. I knew this day would come eventually.

I sigh. "I am going to visit another pack tonight. Why?" I ask. She blushes. "Well.. what about this weekend? Friday night?" She asks with a nervous smile. "Why Allison?" I ask. She looks at the ground, clearly embarrassed. "Well... I... I really like you Heath, and I just... I was hoping maybe you liked me too?" She looks up at me and I look at her, slightly shocked she just admitted it to me. I stiffen when I smell Violet coming back out. The scent stops moving closer and I can tell she's hiding. Sneaky little mate. "Allison, I've known. For a long time. You're way to obvious. But I'm sorry, I have to say no." I say this and Allie frowns. "But.. why not?" She asks. I hear the sadness in her tone. "You're my little sisters friend, and you're not my mate. I would never consider that Allison." I say, making her growl quietly.

"What if I was your mate? Wouldn't you consider that then? I don't see why me being her friend has anything to do with it!" She says, starting to get mad. I growl. "If you were my mate, then that would be different. But you're not. I simply have no feelings or interest in you Allison, I'm sorry. If I did, you would know." I say in a solid tone. She needed to stop this, and when I finished talking to her, I would tell Michelle to stop trying to set me up with her friends. Allison looks hurt by my words. She pushes past me and runs into the house. I sigh and turn around.

"You can come out now." I say. I hear Violet's heartbeat speed up as she steps out and walks over to me. "Sorry.. I didn't mean to.. I was coming to ask you something and just heard you talking.. I'm sorry.." I smile at her shyness. I shake my head. "It's fine, mia piccolo smeraldo." She looks up at me, clearly confused. I just give her a cheesy grin. "What's that mean?" She asks. I shrug. "Pin me down one of these days and I might tell you." I wink and start walking towards the house. She runs to catch up with me. "What did you wanna ask?" I ask her. "Uh.. I was wondering if you would give me some one on one training..." She asks. I can sense her nervousness. I stop and look down at her. "Sure thing. We can talk about that later though. I can tell you want to ask something else. So what is it?" I ask.

She look away again. "Why did you turn her down really?" She asks, looking back at me with curiosity. I sigh. "I really don't like her. But if you mean my main reason? It's because I'm interested in someone else." I see something flicker in her eyes as I say this. She nods slowly. "Go get a shower Violet. You need to leave for school soon." She nods and runs past me into the house. I let out a sigh I didn't realize I was holding. I look at the time and frown before picking up my jacket from the ground and running upstairs to my room.

I take a quick shower then pull on some jeans and a t-shirt. I pull out the bag and pull out all 11 boxes. I had bought all of the kids in the training group brand new cell phones. Eventually I'd get everyone of the new members one. I figured these guys could get there's early. I had an extra now that Chad wasn't around. I throw the extra into the bag. I write names on each box and put my number into each phone and putting each of their numbers into my own. When I get to Violet's I smirk and pull it out of the box. I add my number but instead of my name I type in 'Big Bad Scary (not cute) Alpha.' It barely fit. I put the phone back into the box. When I put her number into my phone I just type it in as what I had called her earlier, only in English this time.

I hear a knock on my door and walk over to open it. I let them all in. I look and make sure everyone is here. I notice Violet talking to Aaron. I hear her say "I'm ok." and faintly hear him growl about if Chad touches her again he will kill him. I smile, liking that this boy would be there to protect her at school, however I also didn't like how close he was to her. I ignored it for now. "I got you all a little something." I tell everyone and start giving each of them their boxes. They open them and I hear excited gasps and cheers. "I set my number in them, so I will text you if training is ever canceled." I hand Violet hers last and give her a smile. "Everyone should be heading to school now. Have a good first day." I smile as everyone starts leaving. I watch Violet leave and before Aaron can follow her, I grab his arm and pull him back.

"I need to talk to you." I say. He nods slowly. "What is it?" He asks. "How did you know about Chad?" I ask. He sighs. "Chad has always done that crap. He always tries to get Violet. I don't know why he can't find some other girl. I know so many that would love to do what he wants." He says with a growl. I just nod. "What's your relationship with her?" I ask, slightly nervous to hear his answer. He laughs. "Oh me and Violet? She's like my little sister. Our moms were best friends." He says. I nod slowly. I decide to tell him. I shut the door and he looks confused. "I need to tell you something. Now do not jump to conclusions got it?" I say with a growl. He nods, confusion across his face. "Violet is my mate." I say slowly. His eyes go wide. I sigh and slowly explain to him before he can jump to anything. After explaining, he nods in understand. "Alright, but why did you tell me this?" He asks. "I want you to keep an eye on her in school and when I'm not around. Keep that Chad guy away from her." I tell him. He nods slowly. "You got it Mr. Alpha." He says with a smile. I nod, one less thing to worry about.
