Attack of The BotBots!

Izzy ran down the hallways of mall. The lighting of the mall was dim and flickering lights made it more ominous. She couldn't stop running, no, she had to keep going. A startled beep came from Bumblebee, who was clinging to her back, shivering. Clutching her right hand was Smokescreen, who kept looking behind to see if they were followed. In front of her was Wheeljack, a bot she got to know since she now looked after him. In his arms was the cube which was pulsing brightly. How did all of this go so wrong?

"Can you see then still Bee?" She asked the yellow cutie.

"No...but we should keep going! I think I can still hear them coming!" He relayed to her.

"Why did you have to being the cube to the mall? Now they are wrecking the whole place!" Smokescreen said to Wheeljack, who shrugged.

"In my defense, I didn't even know it would activate! But what was fascinating is what it did to the things!" Wheeljack exclaimed happily.

"I'm so fired if I don't kill you first!" Izzy hissed, running right into a kiosk. She fell forward, sending Bee straight into the fountain. "Worst. Day. Ever!"

Scurrying noises were heard as they all turned slowly around. When they saw what was coming, they held each other and screamed.

"If and when we make it out alive, I am kicking your butt Wheeljack!" Izzy threatened the small bot who chuckled a bit.

You're probably wondering what all that was about and who could blame ya? This seems like something out of a horror movie! But let me assure you that we are not in danger...not yet at least. There's a reasonable explanation about why I want to kill Wheeljack and what those creepy little things are.

I guess I should start from the beginning...

"Wow! You got a summer job at the mall? Congratulations Izzy!"

Izzy beamed proudly as she showed Penny her job approval. The two were sitting in the kitchen, the bots and cons eating ice cream on this hot summer day. Izzy licked her vanilla cone and nodded.

"Yeah, and the best part is that I am working directly across from my crush!" She blushed lightly and giggled. "While I am working at Burger Depot, he's working at the sunglasses kiosk right in front of me!"

"Ooh! You go and get your man!" Penny joked, taking a spoonful of chocolate. "But don't let him distract you from your job."

"So does that mean Izzy won't be able to babysit us anymore?" Bumblebee worried, pouting a bit.

"She can still watch us on weekends though!" Bulkhead put out, bringing a smile back on Bee's face.

"Can we come and see you work?" Starscream asked, his wings fluttering with excitement.

Izzy tapped her chin in thought. "I don't see why not! Everyone can come and see me work. Not much to do but flip patties, man the cash register, talk with customers..."

Optimus nodded. "That sounds like a perfect job for you."

Soundwave displayed fireworks on his screen while clapping.

"I agree with Soundwave. This sounds like a big deal!" Megatron said, taking the bowls from the table and placing them in the sink. "Once you conquer the food world, then you can take over the mall!"

"That's not how fast food works Megatron." Arcee said sweatdropping.

Izzy got up. "Regardless, with the extra money I'll earn, it will be enough to finally buy this cute designer purse I wanted. Meg pointed it out one day and I just got to have it!"

A knock at the door interrupted her rant while Penny got up to answer it. To her surprise, Galthea and Wheeljack were standing outside the door, the latter with a small overnight bag in his servos. Galthea rubbed the bridge of her nose in exasperation.

"Can you and your babysitter friend watch Jackie for the weekend? I have an important business dinner to attend and I figured bringing Magnus would be a better bet." She told Penelope, pushing Wheeljack inside. "I can't have him blowing up the dinner table, hot-wiring the microwave, or tampering with the main courses with his science kit." She saw the bewildered expression on Penny's face. "He has a tendency of doing that. But can you please watch him?"

Penny nodded slowly. "Sure thing Gal. By the way, you look exhausted. When was the last time you took a rest?"

Gal gave her sister a tired look. "Having one child that is constantly moving and breaking things doesn't give me enough time to relax. Luckily for me, Magnus is the more responsible child." She waved her off, leaving in her car.

Wheeljack turned to his auntie with a mischievous smile. "So...where's this Izzy I keep hearing about?"

Penny rolled her eyes and took his bag. "In the kitchen with the others. Be careful this weekend around her. She just got her first job and doesn't need to lose it already."

"Neat..." His optics darted towards the living room where he spied the television. "Mind if I-?"

"Yes!" Penny waved her hands frantically. "Why don't you wait here in the living room, while not touching anything, for the others. They are cleaning up the kitchen." She left him in the room, hoping he wouldn't get into too much trouble.

Wheeljack grinned as he walked around the living room for something to wreck or tinker with when he saw something glowing from the corner of his eyes. Following the light, he found the dormant form of the All-Spark hidden behind the couch.

"Woah! So this is where she hid it!" He walked at it, feeling the power radiating from the outside. "Wonder if auntie wouldn't mind me touching this?" Tapping it slightly, the cube opened up, releasing some strange blue gas! He backed up with fright, startled at what had happened. The gas went out the window as the box closed. He pushed the cube back where he found it just as Penny walked in with the others.

"Jackie! Mom said you were staying over!" Bulkhead tackled him to the ground. "Ready for a fun weekend?"

"Oh great! Not only do we have the biggest wrecker this side of the playground in our house, but now he, Bulk, and Break will ruin our block castles!" Knockout complained, sighing dramatically.

Izzy patted his helm. "Don't worry, I think the boys will do fine on their own." Grabbing her bag, she flashed the sparklings a smile. "Well I'm off to work! Why don't you guys drop by later and see me?"

"Can we mommy?" Starscream hopped up and down excitedly.

"Well I guess so. I can let you guys burn some of that excess energy in the play area." Penny said, getting chirps of happiness from them all.

Izzy shook her head at the kids before closing the door behind her. Clouds had started to roll in as she got her umbrella out.

Oh no! I hope this rain blows over! I don't want to walk home in this storm!

Unbeknownst to her, the strange gas followed her to the mall.

One stormy night at a mall nearby, energon power fell from the sky. It hit the mall with it's powerful might, and gave everyday objects robot life!
