175. The Naked Man

A man undressed was on Qi Le’an’s bed! This was so astonishing that Chen Shan immediately called Qi Le’an.

Qi Le’an didn’t answer it.

He put on his clothes with a bitter face and walked to the living room. After making sure that there wouldn’t be anything strange, he called Chen Shan back.

Chen Shan was speechless.

Qi Le’an cried, “Brother Chen! Please hear me out!”

Chen Shan said coldly, “Mom said that a naked man was on your bed.”

Qi Le’an was startled.

A naked man?

“Impossible!” Qi Le’an shouted, “Did Godmother say that? Wei Sama only exposed one arm!”

Chen Shan thought about it and agreed with him. Then he said, “To quote Mom’s words, there is an undressed man on your bed.'”

That only one arm was exposed was interpreted as an undressed man and even a naked man by Chen Mama.

Qi Le’an marveled at how the rumor was created. He tried to defend himself and said, “Brother Chen, trust me. Only one arm was exposed!”

Chen Shan snorted, “I don’t care. You explain to Mom on your own when she arrives!”

Qi Le’an didn’t know how to explain this, so he asked, “When are you coming?”

“I booked the air tickets for the day after tomorrow,” Chen Shan said with a tired face, “Mom wants to bring a lot of things for you. The sooner we set off, the fewer things she will bring.”

Qi Le’an couldn’t help but feel touched.

After hanging up, he ran back to the bedroom. Wei Changfeng was already dressed. Seeing Qi Le’an bitter face, he asked, “How is it?”

Qi Le’an said with a grievance, “Only an arm was exposed! How can Brother Chen say there was a naked man on my bed?”

Wei Changfeng was speechless.

“Godmother’s flight will take off the day after tomorrow,” Qi Le’an counted with his fingers and said, “It happens that they will arrive on Tuesday!”

Wei Changfeng nodded and asked, “How many days will they stay here? Let’s book the hotel for them.”

Wei Changfeng browsed the hotels on his iPad and said, “I shall book the nearby hotel. We can drive if we want to go out for fun.”

Qi Le’an nodded in agreement. This was the first time his family came to the US to visit them. For the moment, he was a bit nervous.

Wei Changfeng browsed three or four hotels online, and Qi Le’an crossed out two of them. The last two hotels were good. The rooms were bright and there was baby service. The two of them decided to take a look before making a decision.

Qi Le’an grilled the bread and smeared it with blueberry sauce. Then, he also prepared milk for him and Wei Changfeng. After breakfast, Wei Changfeng drove to the hotel.

The other one was a suite with two bedrooms, a living room, a small kitchen, and a washroom.

“We should buy some snacks and fruits before Aunty arrives,” Wei Changfeng said after checking the suite, “Do you prefer to let them eat at home or out?”

“Let’s take them out to eat,” Qi Le’an thought for a moment and said, “They should be quite tired from coming here. We can take them to grab a bite and let them get over the jetlag first. Then, we invite them to our house the next day?”

Wei Changfeng also felt taking a plane could be tiring so he agreed with a nod.

In the evening, Qi Le’an contacted Chen Shan again and learned about the specific flight time. Besides, he also told Chen Shan that the hotel had been booked and everything was ready.

Hearing this, Chen Shan laughed. “Oh, you have grown up these two years! You even know how to book hotels for us.”

Qi Le’an snorted and asked, “How long will you stay here?”

“One week,” Chen Shan answered, “Have you confirmed the date of signing?”

Speaking of this, Qi Le’an looked bitter and said, “Not yet. Let me ask tomorrow?”

Damien who usually acted decisively finally slowed down his pace. After Qi Le’an agreed to sign the contract, Damien took no action anymore. Qi Le’an didn’t know what was going on now.

Chen Shan pondered for a moment and said, “Forget it. Don’t ask about it until you still get no updates when we arrive.”

Qi Le’an also felt that it was better not to urge him.

After arranging the visit of Chen Mama and her baby daughter, Qi Le’an and Wei Changfeng discussed where to take them for fun. The baby girl was still young so they had a lot of things to consider. Afterward, Qi Le’an fell asleep as he said this. The iPad almost hit his head. Wei Changfeng gently took it away, covered him with the blanket, and turned off the light.

In the darkness, he looked at Qi Le’an’s sleepy face, thinking that Qi Le’an had been worried for a day but didn’t get to the point.

Since Chen Mama said there was a naked man on the bed, given Qi Le’an’s personality, he should be wondering how to tell Chen Mama about their relationship.

“Does Aunty know about us?”

Wei Changfeng was confused.

Qi Le’an smiled and said, “We’re married! No, we are engaged. Anyway, we have put on the rings on each other!”

In his eyes, nothing could be compared to Wei Changfeng in the world.

Chen Shan and his family arrived in New York at three in the afternoon. Qi Le’an got up early and went to the hotel. After arranging the gifts, he went to the airport with Wei Changfeng.

Chen Mama was holding her baby daughter while Chen Shan was pushing the luggage. Qi Le’an saw the three of them from afar.

The three of them flew first class this time so they had a good rest on the plane. Hence, they looked quite well when they got off the plane. Chen Mama also saw Qi Le’an among the crowd and walked over with a smile on her face, “Le’an! Have you been waiting for a long time? It took such a long time to get our luggage back! Let me have a look! My son is getting more handsome!”

The baby girl was dressed in a pink dress and her skin was fair-complexioned. She looked at Qi Le’an with her big eyes.

Chen Mama smiled. “Do you not know him? He’s your brother.”

Qi Le’an also joked with the child, “You don’t know me now? I’m so sad!”

Unexpectedly, the next second, the baby girl opened her arms and asked for Qi Le’an’s hug, saying in a childish voice, “An, I love you!”

Everyone burst out laughing. Even Wei Changfeng could not help but laugh. Chen Shan also said banteringly, “Ungrateful soul!”

Qi Le’an took his sister from Chen Mama and introduced Wei Changfeng to her, “Sis, this is Wei Sama.”

Chen Mama saw Wei Changfeng from the beginning, but she was so excited to see her godson that she forgot about Wei Changfeng for the moment. At this moment, she shifted her focus to Wei Changfeng. Somehow, she recalled the arm on Qi Le’an’s bed.

The baby girl stared at Wei Changfeng for two seconds and suddenly buried her head in Qi Le’an’s arms. Chen Mama finally spoke, “Huh! Our baby girl is shy now!”

Qi Le’an didn’t expect this to happen, so he couldn’t help laughing. Chen Mama was still carrying a bag. Wei Changfeng took it naturally and said, “Hello, Aunty.”

She saw the ring on Wei Changfeng’s finger when she handed the bag to him.

Chen Mama was in a mess, so she was not in a mood to eat. “Let’s go to the hotel first… There were airline meals offered on the plane, so I’m not hungry at all.”

Qi Le’an nodded and said, “Okay. We have fruits at the hotel too. Let’s go to the hotel first.”

The four of them left the airport and Wei Changfeng’s car was parked in the parking lot. He and Qi Le’an came here in a five-seat car. As the car was filled with a bunch of things and one of them was carrying the baby girl, it seemed a bit crowded.

Luckily, the traffic was smooth. It was about half an hour’s drive to the hotel. The doormen helped them carry the luggage. The baby girl wanted her mother to hold her in her arms as she got sleepy. Qi Le’an finally freed his hands.

Chen Mama remained silent all the way, which was unlike her usual nagging style. Qi Le’an saw her from the rearview mirror. She had something on her mind.

Qi Le’an sighed inwardly.

They went upstairs together. Qi Le’an gave the room key to Chen Mama. As soon as Chen Mama entered the door, she was dumbfounded to see the fruits and snacks on the table, a small playground fenced for the baby girl and the present on the sofa.

Seeing this, Qi Le’an smiled and said, “It’s Wei Sama who prepares all of these. Do you like them?”

The baby girl looked at the small swing and Barbie dolls within the baby’s protective fence and reached out to play with the things. She giggled and said, “Yes, I do!”

Qi Le’an smiled and said to Chen Mama, “Mom, Wei Sama, and I even picked a dress. I think it suits you very much. Would you like to take a look?”

Chen Mama was so touched that she couldn’t utter a word now. She nodded and said, “Sure!”
