68. To Meet Wei Sama's Parents

Qi Le An didn’t tell Wei Chang Feng that he was coming to City B.

It wasn’t like he was deliberately hiding it from Wei Chang Feng, he just wanted to surprise his Wei Sama.

After getting off the plane, Chen Shan asked Qi Le An, “What’s your plan now? Are you coming with me?”

Qi Le An hesitated for a while then he said he needed to make a call before he made a decision.

Qi Le An got into the car, it was Gary who was driving. Gary was home when Wei Chang Feng asked him to go to the airport to pick up Qi Le An, Gary low key regretted telling Qi Le An the news that Wei Chang Feng was removing the cast the next day.

Gary had rearranged the seats to make more room for Wei Chang Feng to rest his legs.

It was the first time Qi Le An saw Wei Chang Feng since their new year’s departure.

The car was very warm. Wei Chang Feng wore a white hoodie and baggy pants for his injured leg. Qi Le An looked at Wei Chang Feng’s leg and his eyes dimmed. Wei Chang Feng’s head was half shaved due to the operation, and the new layer of hair made him look a bit funny.

Noticing Qi Le An’s gaze, Wei Chang Feng touched his head and said with a smile, “I know I look like a clown now, haha, I’m going to shave my head completely, going bald.”

Hearing that, Gary who was driving had accidentally stepped on the accelerator.

Qi Le An was also stunned. “Going bald?”

Compared to Qi Le An, Wei Chang Feng was much calmer. He had difficulty in moving, so Mrs. Wei had already asked someone to push the wheelchair over. Gary helped Wei Chang Feng get off the car and together they walked to the wheelchair.

Wei Chang Feng winked at Qi Le An as he sat in the wheelchair.

It was a cold spring night, Mrs. Wei rushed them to get back to the house when she saw her son was only wearing a hoodie, “Let’s get inside first. It’s cold outside.”

With that Gary said goodbye to them. Qi Le An suddenly felt so helpless, but he had to tough it out in front of Mrs. Wei, he pushed Wei Chang Feng’s wheelchair into the house with his hands trembling.

As soon as they entered the house, Mrs. Wei asked the housekeeper to bring two bowls of ginger soup for them. She looked at her son with affection, “Drink it, it will keep you warm. And An, please have some.”

They went back to their rooms after they finished the ginger soup. Because Wei Chang Feng’s leg was injured, he now resided on the first floor, saving him the trouble of climbing stairs, and Qi Le An’s room was next door.

The room was just like what had been told to them. pushed Wei Chang Feng back to the room before entering. Qi Le An helped Wei Chang Feng settle down in his room before he went to his room, he realized that his palms were sweating when he closed his room door.

He couldn’t believe Wei Chang Feng had brought him back to his parents ‘ house!

Qi Le An was a little shy. He waved his hand and said, “Good morning, Jiejie. Good morning, Wei Sama Wei…”

Wei Xin’an was amused by Qi Le An, ” An, you are still so cute.”

Qi Le An blushed.

“I’ll check if breakfast is ready,” Wei Xin’an stood up and walked towards the kitchen, leaving Wei Chang Feng and Qi Le An in the living room. Wei Chang Feng asked gently, “Did you sleep well last night?”

Qi Le An quickly nodded and said, “I did!”

Wei Chang Feng was sitting in a wheelchair, he was so much shorter than Qi Le An now. Qi Le An was not used to it, so he walked to the sofa and sat down.

“What time are you remove the cast today?” Qi Le An asked.

“In the afternoon,” Wei Chang Feng answered, “Have you bought your ticket back to Hai City yet?”

Qi Le An wished he could stay for one more day. He nodded reluctantly and said, “Yes, half-past ten tonight.”

Wei Chang Feng frowned when he heard this, “Half-past ten? It’s going to be midnight when you get home. Do you still have classes tomorrow morning?

Qi Le An nodded.

Wei Chang Feng sighed and said, “Change it to seven makes more sense. I’ll have dinner with you tonight, then I can ask Gary to give you a lift to the airport.”

Qi Le An didn’t want to leave early, but he knew Wei Chang Feng’s suggestion made more sense, so he had to text Chen Shan asking him to change the ticket for him.

“Breakfast is ready.” Said Wei Xin’an. With that, she went

upstairs to ask her parents to get ready. Qi Le An didn’t have much time to feel sad that he had to leave early, he now was trying his best to not freak out in front of Wei Chang Feng’s parents.

‘I’m going to have breakfast with Wei Sama’s parents!’

Wei Chang Feng noticed Qi Le An’s facial expression, he couldn’t help but smile, “My parents are very nice. Don’t be nervous.”

Qi Le An was so embarrassed that he regretted not checking in a hotel last night.

He pushed Wei Chang Feng who was in the wheelchair to the dining room, he was so nervous that he couldn’t even find the button to adjust the height of Wei Chang Feng’s wheelchair. Wei Chang Feng smiled and pressed the button himself.

Qi Le An sprang up to his feet on seeing Wei Chang Feng’s parents, he greeted nervously, “Hello, Mr. Wei, nice to meet you.”
