Chapter 13

Quiet Waters (boyxboy)

So, this chapter is...uninteresting to say the least. All that this chapter does is set up the scene perfectly for the next chapter or two. I'm REALLY sorry it isn't active like most of my other chapters....

Also, if you didn't read the sex scene that I wrote, all that happened was that they both have confessed to each other bluntly and that they're getting feelings for each other that are only becoming stronger and stronger.

Enjoy hopefully?

Chapter 13: Kent's POV, Wednesday night, a few hours later, in Kent's bed still

So, I woke up and found a pair of strong arms still wrapped around me and a light kiss brush the back of my neck. Not to mention something hard still poking at my butt. I turned to see none other than Cole grinning at me with his dark, sexy blue eyes.

“Hey,” He pulled me closer to him as I turned around to face him. “You seemed to enjoy your nap after our...love-making session. Are you ok?”

“Yeah,” I was a bit groggy, but who wasn't when they had just lost their virginity, fell asleep, and then was woken up against their will just by feeling a gentle kiss? “Hay, Cole, how long was I asleep?”

Cole turned his head just enough to see the clock on my nightstand. “Only two hours since it's almost nine o'clock,”

I was a bit shocked, I usually never took naps for fear that it would mess with my sleeping pattern.

“Listen, I have to leave here a little before nine thirty, I'm meeting up a few buddies from football and we're going to celebrate his eighteenth birthday, so I'll be out a bit late tonight.” Cole's lip wavered ever so slightly, making me slightly doubt what he was actually doing tonight, which scared the crap out of me.

I sighed, and decided to play along with whatever he was up to, I really didn't want to come off as the clingy type of boyfriend. “Ok, but you'll be here before tomorrow morning in time to go to school?”

“Of course,” Cole smiled at me and then got up, revealing his sculpted, naked body to me, and it was even more beautiful now that I looked at every detail on his body. He saw me looking at his naked form and growled at me with a smirk across his face as he threw on a pair of underwear and his old T-shirt from earlier. “Did you like what you saw, Kent? Because I don't mind showing you when I get home later tonight,”

I laughed a bit at how silly he could be sometimes.

I watched Cole as he picked up all of his stuff from the floor and sat next to me on the bed and stroked my face gently, a light grin etching itself onto his face. He leaned in and kissed me passionately, as if it might have been the last time that he would see me again and we kissed for a bit of time; just my fully clothed boyfriend, I hope I could call him that now, and naked me tangled up in the soft sheets that covered my bed.

Cole said, “Bye, Kent, don't wait up for me!” Cole voice was trying to sound light and funny, but it came out forced to me, as if he was trying to mask...something, the feeling in my gut, brain, and more importantly now, heart, told me that something was wrong with Cole, and I was determined to see what was bugging him so much; so what if he thought I was clingy, I cared about him, and I always trust my intuitions.

After I heard the door downstairs close, signifying that Cole had officially left the house, I waited to hear his truck pull out of the driveway and I looked at the clock: nine twenty-five. I decided that I needed to leave now so that I could follow him to wherever he was going.

I grabbed my keys off from the table downstairs as I shrugged on a jacket; it was surprisingly cold for early December in California....

I got into my car and quickly sped off, hoping that I could catch the tail end of his truck. I felt a lot better when I was able to see the tip of Cole's truck up ahead of me, so then I relaxed a bit and thought about my options for what I was doing now.

After some mental debate between myself, I finally settled on the following plan: if Cole was telling the truth and he was stopping at a friend's house, which I highly doubted, I would drive back home and act like I had never left the house. However, if the place looked suspicious or he was just lying to me, I'd follow him to see why he would need to lie to me. I trusted him, but why couldn't he trust me, and why did he seem so...nervous? Well, Cole had seemed a bit nervous ever since I woke up after having sex with him, did he think that I was bad in bed or something?

Sometimes, I wish that I could read minds; it would make life a lot easier for me....

-Cole's POV: Wednesday night, in his truck, on his way to the old abandoned warehouse-

I was in my truck, driving to finally put and end to Tyler once and for all; I was tired of him and his conceited ego, his fake persona overall, and more importantly, he hurt Kent, and so, he will pay. No doubt about it.

I pulled around behind the warehouse and parked by the exit, just in case I needed to escape rather quickly. I got out of my truck, feeling the small stones crunch underneath my feet as I went around to the passenger side of the car and opened the glove box which held my dad's old pistol. I had to keep it inside of a locked box in my closet when my dad was still with us, for fear that he'd use it on Paul or me.

I carefully took out the gun and loaded it, making sure that all the rounds were filled, silently hoping still that I wouldn't need any of them. I made my way away from my truck and pulled open the large, rusty door that led into the warehouse very slowly, cringing at every loud sound that the door mad with it moving every inch.

I sighed and thought about who I was doing this for; was I doing it as justice for Kent, or was I just taking out all of my anger out on the guy who had hurt Kent to the point of him professing his love for me while in tears?

Either way, I'd at least be yelling at Tyler, if he showed up, but it was only nine fifty-two right now; plenty of time for me to plan out how I was going to handle tonight.

-Tyler's POV, Wednesday night, pulling into the abandoned warehouse-

I was still kind of pissed that someone was trying to make me come here just because of my little thing with Kent, geez, all wanted was his money.... I got out of my car and looked at the building before me. All it really looked like was an old, shut-down factory from a few decades ago.

I entered the building only after making sure that I had my gun in my jacket's pocket, full of ammunition which was probably going to be used on whoever the fuck thought that they could outwit me.

As I entered, the building looked rather beat up and it seemed that anything with a value over a dollar was taken from this place. Only empty beer bottles, broken windows and graffiti covered the walls, flipped and broken tables and chairs lay scattered across the dirty concrete, and three rows of conveyor belts sat in the middle of the room, each with a wire connecting them. What the fuck? I thought to myself. Why didn't they take these, they'd be worth something if they were dismantled and the individual pieces were sold in different locations,

I approached the central conveyor belt in the middle and looked at it more closely, and realized that something wasn't right about them....

-Paul's POV, Wednesday night, at camp, after Paul went to sleep-

I awoke with a startled feeling, sitting upright in the uncomfortable cot that was our bed at camp. Something felt horribly wrong, and it involved Cole somehow, I was certain of it.

When I was younger, Cole always told me that because we had such a strong brother bond, he could always tell if I was in trouble, and that I could always tell when he was in trouble too. I never really believed in it until every time that I felt bad, Cole was always there to make me feel a whole lot better. But this time, it was my turn...if I could just get out of this camp.

Maybe being sick would work....

-Kent's POV, Wednesday night, at the warehouse-

I managed to pull into the area without anyone seeing my car or me inside of it. I was letting my eyes scan the vicinity for Cole's truck, but I couldn't see it anywhere...but I did see a car, and I think it looked a lot like...oh shit, Tyler is here.

At this point, I was panicking because I wasn't ready to see him now, much less ever again. In fact, I hoped that something bad happened to him, and I was really nice and got angry at people rarely in comparison to others that I know...like Cole.

I immediately kept driving, not wanting to be next to Tyler's car in an way, shape, or form, so I quickly drove around the back to see a familiar truck parked close to the old back door of the warehouse, which was ajar ever so slightly, giving someone just enough room to squeeze through if they were Cole's size.

I crept out of my car cautiously and approached Cole's car, just to make sure that he wasn't in there injured or worse...I didn't really want to think of the latter, so I kept walking to the door and opened it a bit more to let more of the moonlight into the relatively vacant room.

I decided to not close the door anymore that it already was when I got here, not wanting to alert anyone of my presence in this old building.

I quickly scanned the room for something to hide behind, and only found a broken poker table flipped onto its sides. So immediately scurried across the room to seat myself behind the table and wait for whatever was going to happen soon, hopefully.

I soon heard footsteps approach something in the middle of the room, so I held my breath and only watched in anticipation and fear of what would happen tonight.

So, wasn't I right? This wasn't entirely neccesary, but it serves as a nice intro of what will happen in the future probably. Sorry it lacked action and romance. Maybe you enjoyed it, maybe you didn't, comment and vote if you liked it, please.
