Ch. 20 Wrath of Electro Pt.1

3rd pov

The New Electric power station prototype downtown Vale

Without warning, Electro shoots a beam of electricity at Spider-Man but he dodges it and shoots webs at Electros hands in an attempt to damp his electric powers, and shoots a web at the podium that Norman was giving his speech on and he jumps off the stage and throws it at him. This knocks Electro back and to the ground, and Spider-Man webs him to the ground.

Spider-Man: Huh, that was actually easier than I...

Then Electro charges up his thighing in this hands frying the web fluid, and he uses his electricity to float in the air and electricity that is making him float is electrocuting things in a fan radius from where he is.

Electro: Did you really think I was gonna go down that easily?

Spider-Man: Would you be surprised if I said yes?

Electro then starts frantically shooting electricity at Spider-Man causing the surrounding area to be greatly damaged, and he is web-slinging and web-zipping out of the way but just barely.

Spider-Man runs on the side of the evacuated office building and a bolt of electricity is following behind him and braking class as it follows Spider-Man, luckily the area was renovated for the Oscorp announcement.  Spider-Man then shoots a web at Electro's face which stops his lightning strike as he tries to pull it off.  While he is distracted y/n web-zippes to Electro and sticks to him and hits him with a few right jabs. But he knows he can't be this close to him for long, but before he could get away Electro grabs his arm and conducts electricity through his body and suit.

Spider-Man: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Electro then uses his house to shoot him through the window of the nearby evacuated office building,

Spider-Man rolls across the floor for a bit before his momentum slows down and he stops.  He is now on the ground laying on his chest and he pushes himself up but as he does he stumbles a little bit.

Spider-Man: *cough* *cough* This is not looking good for me.

He looks to his right arm and sees that one of his web-shooters is broken.

Spider-Man: Oh no.

Electro then enters the building with a devious smile at him.

Electro: Ha looks like you won't be swinging around me anytime soon Spidey.

Spider-Man: Yeah it looks like that's the case, but lucky the store was having a two for one deal. *refills his left web-shooter*

Electro: Give me a minute, I will fix that.

Spider-Man: Give it your best shot!

Electro then continues his barrage of lighting attacks on Spider-Man, and y/n is keeping his distance using his remaining web-shooter to throw any office supplies as he can at Electro in an attempt to wear him down.

Electro shoots two bolts of lighting, at him and while he dodges one but the other one hits him, creating a tear on his right arm.

Spider-Man: OW!

He then takes cover behind a desk and holds the small cut on his arm.

Spider-Man: OK I might have been a little too optimistic when one of my web-shooters broke.

Electro: That suit does not look to new anymore.

He then throws the desk out of the way and now Spider-Man is back to running and dodging.

Spider-Man: It's not that new, *doges lighting* and I was thinking of *doges lighting* upgrading anyway.

Electro: Do you ever stop talking?

Spider-Man: Hey I talk, I'm a talker and a quipper, and my quips are pretty good if I do say so myself Spark-Man *doges lightning* but clearly you disagree.

Spider-Man: So Electro I am curious how did you get your powers, *Throws a chair at him* is that you semblance *dodges lightning* or where you are bitten by a radioactive eel. *dodges lightning*

Electro: Semblance what else would it be?

Spider-Man: Aww if it was an eel we would have had something in common, we could have connected on an emotional level.

Spider-Man then runs toward Electro, as if is about to go for an attack, Electro than charges up electricity in both hands for a counter attack, but to his surprise, y/n does not attack he instead slides under him and spins a web Electros face while doing so, after he is behind Electro he gets up and is still holding on to the web-line that is still connected to Electros face, he then proceeds to pull it and Electro lands right on the face, and then Spider-Man and then spins a web at the ceiling lamp right above Electro.

Spider-Man: Lights out Electro! (I guess Yang's puns are rubbing off on me)

He then pulls down the lamp on Electros head and it seems to knock him out, and then webs him up.

Spider-Man: *sigh* Alright Electro you have been unplugged (Oh come on y/n you can do better than that!)

Spider-Man turns around then starts to walk away, but then he feels static electricity in the air rising.

Spider-Man: Oh come on!

Outside the Office building, across the Energy amplifier, there is a VOX news team.

News Anchor Lady: Do you have good shot.

Camera Man: Yeah yeah, where live in three two one...

News Anchor Lady: Good evening, I am Betty Brant, and I am reporting to you live from Downtown Vale where just moments ago the Oscorp Electric energy amplifier was being revealed to the world when an assailant calling himself Electro killed two Oscorp security personnel and was about to do the same to Norman Osborn, but thankfully Spider-Man showed up and pulled Mr. Osborn to safety.

Sounds of electricity and flashing lights start to come from the building across the street.

Betty Brant: And it seems that Spider-Man and Electro are fighting in the office building as we speak...

Suddenly a window breaks and y/n is seen flying out it.

Spider-Man: Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!

He then crashes into the Energy Amplifier, thus destroying it,

Spider-Man is groggy and surrounded by smoke, he moves his head to his left wrist to see that his other web shooter is now broken and the web fluid is splattering all over the place.

Spider-Man: Well....this...day just keeps getting better and better, *cough* I wonder if J.J's headline will say Spider-Man Destroys Oscorp collider.

Then a less than pleased looking Electro floats out of the building and stops to look at the destroyed amplifier.

Electro: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?

Spider-Man: What did I do?

He gets out of the dent he made in the amplifier.

Electro: You broke it?

Spider-Man: How did I break it!? You are the one who hit me into it.

Betty Brant: It seems that now Electro and Spider-Man's brawl have how caused severe damage to the amplifier.

Spider-Man's eyes widen as he realizes that there are two people at the scene, and Electro's smile widens.

Spider-Man: What the hell are you doing!!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!

Electro then charges up a burst of energy and fires it at the reporters.

Spider-Man not having any web-shooters he had no choice but to run up to them and push them out of the way, and when he does Electros attack hits him instead.

Spider-Man: NNNNNNNNGGGHHHHHHH!

Police sirens are heard in the distance, and this scares Electro.

Electro then lifts him up into the air while still electrocuting him.  Electro then throws him into a billboard a few miles away and leaves knowing what he came for was lost.

Spider-Man's aura is almost completely depleted and one of his left eye lenses is cracked and some of his h/c hair is sticking out, his gloves on the suit are also torn showing most of his fingers and the rest of his sleaves have several little tears in them.

Spider-Man: Well...that could have gone...a little better *holds ribs* OW! *Inhales sharply through his teeth.* Thank the Gods for aura.

A few Minutes ago Team R.W.B.Y Dorm

Weiss and Black are having tea and coffee respectively, and the T.V is on as background noise for their conversation.

Weiss: You're telling me you have not read the any of the Bobby Langdon Books

Blake: I heard that it's supposed to be good but I was to busy reading *ahem* other books.

Weiss: OH you would looove it is right up your ally, it's about mystery and ancient treasures! You know what *Opens her drawer, and takes out the book*

Weiss: Her this is Demons and Angles.

Blake: Are you sure, it is your book, oh I already read it please take it I promise you will love it.

Blake: Wow thank you, Weiss, that means a lot...

T.V: We interrupt this program for breaking news.

Their attention is now drawn to the screen as they watch the live report given by Betty Brant.

Timeskip.

Weiss: Oh my god that's horrible!

Blake: Wait y/n said he was going to be there, oh gods I hope he is alright!

She frantically brings out her scroll and tries to call him.

Meanwhile y/n's apartment/Spidey lair

y/n Pov

Oh man, I am so tired how much electricity can that guy take,  I go into my belt under the suit and take out my scroll which has now been fried beyond repair.

y/n: Oh..I...will...worry about that latter, now I need sleeeeeeeep.

He then collapses on his bed exhausted.

Meanwhile on Patch, Xiao-Long house living room

3rd pov

Yang is on the couch reading an old magazine, and Ruby is hiding in a corner playing a game on her scroll, and Tai is walking towards Ruby without her knowing.

Ruby: Come on come on almost there!!

Before Ruby can finish her game Tai yanks it out of Ruby hands.

Ruby: HEY!

Tai: Ruby what did I tell you, about being on your scroll.

Ruby: Too...not....be...on...it?

Tai: That's right.

Ruby: But there is nothing to do.

Yang: Yeah, we can't be on our scrolls you only have magazines from ten years ago, and you destroyed the internet modem.

Ruby: Yeah why did you have to destroy it exactly.

Tai: Becuase if I had just unplugged it you could have plugged it back in, I had to destroy it.

Yang: ...

Ruby: ...

Tai: OK I probably did not have to totally destroy it, but I just want to spend time with my girls.  I probably won't see you for a while after you go back to Beacon.

Ruby: Yeah, alright I am sorry.

Yang: I would be nice to spend time together.

Tai: Thank you, *smiles* so I want to hear about your school stories, what should we start with? Ruby being a team leader or Yang's new boyfriend.

Both the girls both turn red, both not wanting to tell their dad about possibly embarrassing stories about the subjects.

Time Skip

Tai: You girls destroyed an Atlassian Pyladen!?

Yang: Hey it attacked us first.

Ruby: Well it was piloted by a crazy lady so it is technically a she.

Yang: Details.

Tai: Oh Your mother would have loved to hear that story.

Ruby: Yeah,  I wish that I remembered more about her

Yang: I wish she did not have to go on that mission, that she never came back from.

Tai: There is no way anything could have persuaded her otherwise if there was anyone in trouble she would always be the first to put her life on the line for them.  She was selfless and friendly to a fault, it is actually why I fell in love with her.

Yang: *sigh* I do wish someone could have found out what happened to her that night.

Tai: I know how you feel but I do have a feeling we will found out what really happened some day.

A/N: They will have to wait a while to find out but you will not have to!

15 Years ago

Tai is in Ruby's nursery changing her diaper. When his wife walks in.

Summer: Alright honey I am about ready to head out.
