Chapter 321: Little Plum is a glutton Part4
Bloodline Evolution System: Reign of the Dragon Snake
âMasta⦠That man is not good. Me thinks he has evil intentions Masta.â
Little Plum immediately warned Tang Yue as soon as they headed inside the mountains, walking towards the stone cultivation chamber.
As such there was no rule against bringing a contracted beast to the cultivation grounds since no one typically did that.
Only a few had exceptional high ranking mid-grade contract beasts and they occasionally used it for their benefit.
So while it was not too common, it was also not that strange when Tang Yue brought hers over.
Tang Yue patted the wolf near her feet and chuckled. âI know sweetheart. That man is surely up to no good.â
And then she added a few more words of wisdom. âBut when accepting things that are beneficial to us, we shouldnât differentiate between a friend and foe.â
âIf a friend is offering us help, we should accept it, feel grateful to them, and help them in return when we get a chance.â
âBut when a foe is offering us help, we should still accept it, however, forget that such a thing ever happened.â
âDo you understand?â Tang Yue winked.
In truth, she was also very wary of this intrusive dwarven prince, but she needed the cultivation chamber so she might as well accept the help and continue to be wary.
After educating the innocent Little Plum on the ways of being shameless, Tang Yue then continued to head inside the stone chamber.
The newly enlightened little wolf growled and closely followed behind her as well.
With Tang Yue immediately starting to refine the last batch of Kirrion ore chunks and Little Plum reverting back to its elemental blob form, the two of them busied themselves, each minding their own business.
The small flickering heavenly flame ever so slightly trembled as these two monsters started absorbing its juices as if they were drinking juice with a straw.

Meanwhile⦠back in the outside world⦠a series of significant events occurred, forever altering the lives of everyone.
While Tang Yue and Little Plum were busy with their secluded training, the row of dominoes they had inadvertently triggered fell down one by one, resulting in the inevitable complete and utter chaos, the first one being a certain Generalâs visit.
Charlotteâs eyes widened as she saw a familiar figure standing at the doorstep of the smithy.
General Salvatore, her father, had unexpectedly come over to personally pay a visit to her.
Maybe this wouldnât have happened if Tang Yue had not sent Xander the demon summoning technique, but she did and so this happened.
âCharlotte, what the hell are you doing here?â The old Generalâs voice thundered in, making Charlotte slightly tremble in fear.
She didnât know which bastard had outed her! But damn it! She was in trouble!
She knew that her father meant business and that she was in trouble when he called her by her name instead of a loving nickname.
âAh⦠That⦠Father⦠Iâ¦â Charlotte stammered, unable to answer him.
The elfâs reddened eyes and his angry appearance did not change one bit after seeing her miserable state.
He raised his hands in annoyance, stopping her weakly put-together explanation.
âI really donât understand you. Didnât you hate that woman? What the hell are you doing here?â
âBut fatherâ¦â Charlotte pouted, acting cutely. This always worked on her father!
However⦠the old Generalâs face still remained cold. He scoffed at her shenanigans and continued.
âHis highness has commanded you to return back. You better come with me right now.â
Huh? Charlotteâs beautiful eyes widened as she instantly understood what was going on!
This was all that bastardâs fault.
She cursed the damned arrogant man inwardly to her heartâs content and bit her lips in frustration.
Why couldnât he just leave them alone??? Was it really that difficult?
âFather, I canât come back right now. In fact, I am not sure if I will be ever coming back.â
She resolutely mumbled, her head bent down, unable to meet her fatherâs gaze.
âCHARLOTTE! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!â The elf reprimanded her. âThis is not the time to be stubborn.â
âDonât bother saying anything else and come back with me right this instant.â
âFather, please. I canât come back. I really canât.â Charlotte pleaded.
The old man looked at her sternly, grooming his beard with his right hand. He couldnât understand his own daughterâs actions.
She was just a simple girl with a one-track mind. So why was she being so stubborn now? He just couldnât understand.
But one thing was clear to him. The girl had really made up her mind this time around.
He gazed at her for a few more minutes before slowly speaking. âIs that so, child? Are you sure?â
Charlotte nodded.
General Salvatore sighed. âIf that is the case, then you should send some messages to your mother and brothers.ân/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
âMaybe even to grandfather and your favorite aunt.â
âHuh?â Charlotte looked up in confusion.
âWhat are you looking at me for? Donât you even want to say goodbye to them?â
âBut father⦠I am just saying that⦠I will perhaps return laterâ¦â
âThatâs fine, child. You can return whenever you want, but your family wonât be there any longer.â
âWHAT?â Charlotte looked at her father in shock.
âWhat do you think his highness will do to us if you defy a direct command from him?â
âFather, please donât threaten me like this.â Charlotte pleaded. The man was emotionally blackmailing her.
âHai. Hai. Donât blame me, child. I am not threatening anyone. You are free to do whatever you want.â
âI am also free to do whatever I want. I donât want to betray his highness. I would rather die than doing so.â
âIf you donât return with me right now, you will never see me again.â General Salvatore solemnly spoke.
Charlotte bit her lips and looked at him. His eyes didnât waver. The man was telling the truth.
He was loyal to that tyrant to a fault, that despicable man! Charlotte hated him to the core!
It seemed as if Xander was hell-bent on destroying her happiness.
He ignored her when they were together and when she was no longer interested in him, he tortured her again!
