Chapter 1356
Married at First Sight
Hank said, âEven if I buy a small suit for Sonny, I have to take him along. I donât know what size he is.
What if itâs too big or too small?â
Liberty immediately told him Sonnyâs size and said, âBuy his suit according to this size. Itâll fit him.â
âLiberty, are you stopping me from spending time with my son? When we got divorced, we agreed that I can see my son whenever I want to. Now that I miss him and want to buy some clothes for him, you wonât even let me see him.â
Liberty hung up the phone right away.
Ever since she became suspicious of Jessica, she no longer dared let Hank take Sonny away again.
Hank probably listened to Jessica because he did not know that she was being used. When Jessica suggested that Sonny become their flower boy, he agreed without much thought.
He also felt that there was no need to find someone else to be the flower boy, so he let Sonny have the role.
Sonny could talk well and was sensible. He was slightly taller than his peers, so he would be suitable as the flower boy.
Hank also felt that his son was becoming more handsome, so he would feel prouder if his son became the flower boy. After all, Sonny was Mr. Yorkâs nephew.
âHow is it?â Jessica asked.
Hank moved his phone away from his ear and showed her. He said angrily, âLiberty hung up on me.
Sheâs starting to disregard me more now. She answers my call when she wants to and hangs up if she doesnât want to listen to me anymore.â
Jessica wanted to laugh when she heard what Hank said.
Hank was too well taken care of by Liberty in the past and was used to being respected.
He wanted Liberty to keep flattering him.
âHank, itâs been months since you and Liberty divorced, and you still havenât adapted to it?â
Hank was speechless.
âWhere are Liberty and Sonny now? If she wonât send him to us, weâll go pick him up.â
Hank responded, âShe said theyâre at Serenityâs place. Serenity lives in Brynfield, but we canât get in.
Liberty wonât let me take Sonny to try on his suit, but she isnât against him being the flower boy and asked me to just buy a kidâs suit for him. She told me his size and said that the suit will fit him if we buy it accordingly.â
âBuy? Weâll just rent it. How are we going to choose a suit if we donât bring Sonny along?â
Hank looked at her and suggested, âHow about we just buy a kidâs suit for Sonny? Iâm his father, so itâs only right for me to buy him some clothes.
âSince I know his size now, I can buy the right clothes for him without needing him to be present.â
Jessica was unhappy. âHank, I think Liberty just doesnât want us to get close to Sonny, afraid that weâll take her place in his heart. Although Iâm his stepmom and am considered his mom, how can I be compared with his biological mother?
âSheâs feeling a sense of crisis now and is stopping you from seeing Sonny whenever you want, which is what you agreed when you divorced. If sheâs not letting you take Sonny to shop for clothes as his dad, doesnât that mean she doesnât want you to get close to Sonny?â
Hank was already feeling that Liberty was stopping him from spending time with his son. After hearing what Jessica said, he felt even more strongly that Liberty was getting bolder and did not want to keep her promise.
