Chapter 1502
Married at First Sight
Sonny perked up when he heard that they were sending breakfast over to his mother.
Zachary looked at the two with a smile in his eyes and said, âHoney, when I see you and Sonny, you look like a parent who has to wake their child up for school every day.â
Serenity looked at him and was just about to tell him to change his clothes, only to see that he had already changed.
âDid you get up early? You already have your suit on.â
âA certain lovesick fool called me and woke me up.
Serenity guessed that it was Callum and asked, âHe called so early? And you didnât ride on the radio waves to beat him up?â
âI didnât beat him up since heâs my brother. He canât even solve a little problem, but he had the gall to laugh at me back then. The person who can help him the most is Nana, but he doesnât know to go to her instead.â
âSpeaking of, I havenât seen Nana in two days. I miss her.â
Zachary picked Sonny up and went downstairs with Serenity.
âShe must have gone out to pick out more granddaughtersâinâlaw. She canât stand being cooped up at home. If sheâs too idle, itâll be us who suffer. Her happiness is founded on our pain.â
âWould you dare say that in front of her?â
Zachary paused before he answered, âNo⦠Iâd really be in pain if I said that.â
Serenity laughed at him. âWuss.â
âItâs not embarrassing to be a wuss when it comes to Nana.â
It seemed like Zachary had suffered under his nanaâs hands quite often. He was completely willing to be a wuss rather than mess with her.
In his words, it was not embarrassing to be a wuss when it came to their nana.
âNana is also irresponsible. She tossed a photo to Callum and Kevin and skedaddled. Now, Callum doesnât know who to ask for help, so he comes to us to trouble us every few days.
âDoes he think Iâm very experienced? Besides, can they copy our circumstances?â
Zachary was just annoyed and grumbled for a while that Callum came over bright early in the morning and disturbed his sleep with his wife.
âPeople who are in love are like that. You have many younger cousins, so theyâll all come to you for help in the future. Itâs bothersome, but you can just get used to it. Itâs because youâre the eldest.â
Zachary said, âIâll call Nana to ask for the psychicâs contact info to pass to Walter and tell her to be more responsible in the future. Donât just matchmake two people and then wash her hands off the case.â
If Grandma May were here, she would say, âIâve already given you the sheep, but you want me to cook it and serve it to you too?
âWhatâs the point of raising so many wolves?
âI have to worry about every single wolf.
âIt was better to raise sheeps. Unfortunately, the York family doesnât have sheep of their own, so I have to try my best to find sheeps from other families.â
The psychic said that Zachary and Serenity were destined to have a son and daughter.
Grandma May would have thought, âOnce our family finally has sheeps of our own, weâll have to build a higher fence and protect our sheeps. We have to be careful so as to not let wolves from other families catch our sheeps.â
Grandma May gleefully set up the wolves of her family with the sheeps of other families.
However, when it came to other familiesâs wolves coming after her sheeps, she would sharpen her knife and get ready to slaughter the wolves!
Zachary called Grandma May during breakfast.
Grandma May said, âYou donât need to ask. Walter came to visit me in person last night.â
Zachary paused and said, âHe really acts quickly. How was it, Nana?â
âHow would I know? I just gave him the psychicâs contact number. If you want to know, you can move into the Bucham residence and watch the show.â
Zachary felt that he still needed Julian. If he went over to laugh at Julianâs expense, the latter might not help him again.
He said, âNever mind. Everyone has their own fate Thereâs no point in me worrying over Mr. Bucham. I have enough on my plate worrying about my brothers. Nana, you canât just matchmake them and toss them to the wind.â
Grandma May immediately held the phone away from her ear and said, âZack, the signal here is really bad. I canât hear you. What did you say? I canât hear you clearly. Anyway, Iâm hanging up now.â
Then, she hung up the phone.
Zachary was speechless.
