Chapter 1610
Married at First Sight
âSonny.
âSonny.â
Something seemed to be wrong with Hank. He kept shouting his sonâs name as he strode toward his son.
âSonny, Iâll play with you.
Hank hurriedly caught up with Duncan and blocked him.
He stretched out his hand to snatch Sonny over.
Sonny was Hankâs son!
He shared the same surname as Hank, namely Brown!
He had nothing to do with Duncan at all. There was no need for Duncan to play with Sonny.
Sonnyâs biological father was here!
âSonny, let Dad play with you, okay?â
As Hank asked Sonny, his eyes were fixed on Duncan. He purposely stressed the word âDadâ.
Hank would forever be Sonnyâs father!
If Duncan wanted to be Sonnyâs father, he could dream on!
Hank failed to stop Duncan from going after his ex-wife. After all, he was still married to Jessica. What was more, Jessica was pregnant with his child, which meant he could not divorce her at this point.
If Liberty wanted to remarry, she had the freedom to do so.
Besides feeling annoyed, there was really nothing Hank could do.
Sonny was Hankâs son. When Duncan approached Sonny, Hank stopped Duncan in spite of himself to avoid Duncan and Sonny from behaving like father and son.
âDad, are you not going to accompany Jess to buy something?â
Sonny pointed at Jessica.
Jessica pulled a long face.
Sonny thought that Jess must be mad if his father chose to play with him.
After listening to Libertyâs explanation, Sonny came to understand that his father would live with Jess in the future.
Hank turned around and glanced at Jessica before he said to Sonny, âNo. Iâll play with you first. When you donât feel like playing anymore, Iâll accompany Jess to buy things. I can buy whatever you want.
âSonny, you have a father. Regardless of your dad and momâs relationship, Iâll forever be your biological âI love you. Donât be fooled by other people. Donât simply address someone else as âDadâ, okay? Some people have bad intentions. They take advantage of you to achieve their goals.â
Overly jealous, Hank reminded his son in front of Duncan and Liberty.
âHank.â
Liberty asked, âWhy are you saying these things to Sonny?â
âIâm just telling the truth.â
Hank shot a look at Duncan.
Then, he said to Liberty, âLiberty, although we have an unhappy past, youâre still Sonnyâs mom. I hope you live well. Let me remind you not to get deceived by other people.â
âThank you for your reminder. Iâm clear-headed.â
Libertyâs voice was cold.
She was not in love with Duncan, but she believed that he was trustworthy.
âHankâ¦â
Jessica suddenly wrapped her hands around her stomach. With a sour look, she shouted to Hank, âHank, my stomach isnât feeling well. Iâm not sure if this is a symptom of a miscarriage.â
Upon hearing that, Hank immediately put Sonny down.
He turned around and ran back to Jessica. He held Jessica and asked anxiously, âYou were fine just now. Why are you suddenly feeling unwell? The fetus should be safe since youâve been pregnant for over three months.â
âItâs probably because Iâve been standing for too long. I just find my tummy uncomfortable.â
Jessica asked, âHank, letâs go home first, alright?â
Hank held her. âAlright. Weâll go home first. Iâll help you get the things you want another day.â While he was speaking, Jessica headed toward his car.
