Chapter 1625
Married at First Sight
When Zachary came out and saw Sonny kissing Serenityâs face, he was actually jealous of the threeâ
yearâold kid.
Zachary carried Sonny into the house while speaking to him.
âWhat do you want to tell me?â
A look of curiosity washed over Sonnyâs face.
Then, Zachary gave him a lengthy lecture.
Sonny was at a loss for words.
He could not understand most of Zacharyâs words. However, he managed to grasp one point, namely that he should not always kiss his auntâs face since he was a boy.
However, Serenity was his aunt.
Even Serenity could kiss his face.
In the end, Sonny thought, âThe adult world is so complicated.â
What Zachary said to Sonny left Serenity feeling speechless. She had no choice but to say to her husband, âBabe, take Sonny upstairs for a shower.â
âOkay.â
Zachary took Sonny upstairs and said to him, âIâll help you shower tonight.â
âI want to bring along my toys for a shower.â
âYou can take your water gun.â
âAlright.â
While heading upstairs, the two of them were negotiating with each other.
Liberty said to Serenity, âZachary is going to spoil Sonny.â
âNo, he wonât. Although he pampers Sonny, he has his principles. He wonât spoil him all the time. You taught Sonny very well, and you donât pamper him. He knows what he can and canât do.â
Right now, Sonny was greatly loved.
Both the Stones and the Yorks loved him very much.
âDo you have sormething to tell me?â
Serenityâs eyes settled on Liberty.
âMrs. Lewis asked me out tonight, and we had a talk.â
Liberty did not need to hide anything in front of her sister.
Serenity would discuss things with her and ask for her opinion, and so would Liberty.
âDid Mrs. Lewis ask you to stay away from Mr. Lewis by giving you a check worth millions of dollars?â
Liberty glared at her sister.
Serenity laughed. âThis is the typical plot in TV dramas.â
She was not at all worried that her sister would suffer a loss when meeting Mrs. Lewis.
âMrs. Lewis said a lot of things to me. Sheâs hoping that Iâll cancel the tenancy agreement for All You Can Eat and move out of that street. Sheâll compensate me for all the losses I suffer from relocating my shop and the expenses needed for renovating my new shop.
âSeren, do you think I should relocate?â
Before Serenity could answer, Liberty added, âI did consider relocating, but I think it wonât work. Mr.
Lewis can eventually find my whereabouts.
âMrs. Lewis is hoping that I can secretly leave Wiltspoon with Sonny. She said sheâll allow me to keep in touch with you and our relatives. And as long as you keep it a secret and donât expose where I am, Mr. Lewis will give up on me.â
Serenity stopped laughing. Her expression turned grave and carried a hint of anger.
âHow could Mrs. Lewis make such a request? What gives her the right to make you leave Wiltspoon? Her son is the one in love with you and going after you. Why doesnât she ask her son to get out of Wiltspoon to leave you alone?â
Liberty smiled.
