Chapter 1850
Married at First Sight
Duncan said: âWhen her new store opens, I will join her.â
He wanted to send her a basket of flowers to wish her a prosperous business.
Zachary: âMy sister will definitely invite you to dinner.â
Duncan sighed, âBut your sister doesnât love me, and still treats me as a friend. She took care of me in the hospital because she felt that she owed me favors when I needed help. My mother also gave her $10,000 a day.â
Zachary: âMy aunt gave my sister $10,000 a day but my sister didnât ask for a penny. In front of you, she is just say that, so there is a reason to refute you.â
Duncan was not surprised, âShe doesnât want to owe me a favor, so she will take this opportunity to repay my favor. If she takes the money, she will feel that she has always owed me a favor. I guessed a long time ago that she wouldnât take money, but she wanted to describe herself as a person who does things for money. Zachary, why donât you accompany me to Libertyâs new store now?â
Zachary agreed to Duncanâs request because he was bored.
Accompanied by Zachary, Mrs. Lewis and Mr. Lewis agreed that their youngest son should go out.
They didnât know that Duncan was going to Libertyâs new shop.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Duncan sighed: âI donât know when I will be able to drive by myself, I miss the thrill of galloping.â He patted his weak legs, âMy two useless leg.â
âDuncan.â Zachary said to his friend while driving the car: âYour leg is not useless, you can get better. If you donât feel a little bit, then you should worry.â
Duncan stopped talking. He acted strong in front of his friends.
He was actually still very weak inside, and he feared that he wouldnât be able to recover, wouldnât be able to stand up again, and would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
Duncan: âStop by the flower shop, I want to buy a bunch of flowers for Liberty.â
Zachary: âOkay.â
Back in the city center, Zachary took Duncan to Spring Blossoms.
Not surprisingly, Zachary saw Callum in the shop, where he was busy and happy.
âBrother, why are you here?â When Callum saw Zacharyâs car parked in front of the flower shop, he smiled and took a few steps forward. He still held a flowerpot in his right hand and was currently watering the flowers.
Camryn was sitting at the cash register, and when she heard Callumâs shout, she got up, walked around the cash register and walked outside.
âWife, you can just sit down. Iâll greet you.â Callum noticed that Camryn had come out, and immediately returned to Camrynâs side, supporting her, for fear that she might fall.
Camryn lightly annoyed him: âWho is your wife? We are not married yet.â
Callum said cheekily: âWe are engaged, we will marry sooner or later, and you will become my wife sooner or later. I am afraid that you will not get used to it, so I will begin practicing now. When we are married, I will be referred to as your Husband, and you will be referred to as my wife. Itâs easy; youâre accustomed to it.â
Camryn: ââ¦â
Callum could call Camryn whatever he pleased, and she was powerless to stop him.
After getting engaged, Callum called Camryn wife every day, and when no outsiders were present, Camryn let him call her. If someone was around, she would feel a little embarrassed.
âBrother, are you going to buy flowers for sister-in-law?â Camryn only heard steady footsteps, but not Serenityâs voice, guessing that only Zachary came.
Zachary said softly: âYour sister-in-law is not at home. If I bring her flowers, they will be completely wilted by the time she returns. It is Duncan who wants to buy a bunch of flowers.â
