Chapter 2001
Married at First Sight
Sonny hummed sensiblely.
Then he asked again: âAuntie, when is my uncle coming out?â
Serenity looked at the office building and said, âIn a few minutes, your uncle will be coming out.â
She said she would come back to pick Zachary up from work, and the two of them would have dinner together. Zachary would definitely leave work early.
Just as he was talking, Sonny pointed at the tall man who came out from the inside, and shouted joyfully: âAuntie, Uncle has come out.â
He broke free from Serenityâs holding his little hand, and ran into the company.
Enter titleâ¦
Zachary had just walked out of the office building not far away. He had good eyesight and saw Serenity standing at the entrance of the company and was standing there holding a bouquet of flowers, like a beam of light attracting him to walk towards her quickly.
âUncle.â
Sonny ran away, shouting as he ran.
Zachary turned his head and told the bodyguard team: âGo and drive, Iâll wait at the gate of the company.â
The bodyguard team responded respectfully, and then stopped following Zachary and walked to the parking lot.
âUncle.â Sonny ran fast, and soon ran in front of Zachary.
Zachary also stepped forward quickly, hugging Sonny.
âUncle, you are off work. My aunt and I have been waiting for you for a long time. My aunt didnât want to come in. She said she wanted to give you a surprise. Uncle, are you surprised to see me?â
Sonnyâs clear and crisp childâs voice was heard far away, and everyone who heard it was laughing.
If they havenât seen the picture of Zachary with Sonny, everyone will think that Mr. York is so indifferent and serious, he probably doesnât like children, and children will be afraid of him.
Who knew it was all wrong.
Zachary liked children very much.
He loved his nephew Sonny so much that he treated him like his own.
And Sonny was not afraid of Mr. Yorkâs indifference and seriousness at all.
everyone heard that this child liked Mr. York when he first saw him.
A childâs heart is the purest. He may not be able to tell who is sincere to him, but he knows it in his heart.
If anyone really liked him and he could feel kindness, he would let the other party hug him.
He didnât feel goodwill, and itâs hypocritical. When being hugged, the little guy would always struggle, cry, and want to get rid of the other party.
Zachary smiled: âUncle was so surprised to see Sonny, Uncle misses Sonny, does Sonny miss Uncle?â
Sonny: â⦠Uncle, can I tell the truth?â
âOf course. Yes, your uncle likes kids who are honest, and Sonny, you start kindergarten in two days. You need to be a smart, honest kid, and you shouldnât lie, because itâs not good to say lies.â Zachary said, and kissed his little face a few times.
Then he hugged Sonny and walked towards the door of the company.
Sonny: âTitus and I had so much fun, I didnât even miss my mother, let alone my uncle.â
When his uncle said he wanted to tell the truth, Sonny told the truth.
Zachary: ââ¦donât think about it at all?â
Sonny: âI canât remember, I only care about playing with Titus.â
Zachary: ââ¦Sonny, youâre so heartless, your uncle love you very much.â
If he knew it earlier, he would let the little guy tell lies, at least it sounds better.
Sonny looked at Zachary very seriously, and said, âUncle misses my aunt, not Sonny.â
Zachary choked.
Zachary: âThen, when uncle misses your aunt, he thinks of you by the way.â
Sonny curled his lips, looking unhappy, âUncle is biased, he misses me by the way.â
âUncle misses you by the way, better than you donât. You donât even want uncle, do you still want to ask uncle to think of you every day?â
