Chapter 3111
Married at First Sight
Kathrynâs voice came from the tea room: âI havenât started working yet, so I started doing it myself.â
Marco said to her, âYou are afraid that others will poison your coffee.â
Kathryn said, âIâm not afraid of my secretary poisoning me. Iâm quite afraid of my eldest brother poisoning me.â
Marcoâs face turned dark. He said angrily, âI am your elder brother; how could I poison you?â
Although Marco disliked Kathryn, his biological sister, he did not dare touch a hair on her head, at least while Matriarch Farrell was still alive. If Matriarch Farrell left and Kathryn came to power again and became the head of the family, it would be even harder for him to touch Kathryn. If Kathryn didnât do something dirty to him, it would be Amitabha.
Kathryn laughed twice in the tea room and said no more.
Marco waited for a while before Kathryn came out of the tea room.
Kathryn brought out two cups of coffee and walked to the sofa. She placed one cup of coffee in front of Marco, and then she sat down opposite him. She glanced at the older brother sitting opposite her.
Marco looked ugly when Kathryn looked at him like this and asked her unhappily, âWhy are you looking at me like this? You donât know me anymore?â
âI donât know you anymore. I canât believe that my eldest brother is like that.â Kathryn said it bluntly.
âLast night, you were too cruel to my sister-in-law. Even if you have no feelings for my sister-in-law now, she is your wife and has given birth to children for you. You have been married for more than ten years, and she has never done anything to apologize to you.
You raised a woman outside, cheated on her during marriage, and did something wrong to her. For the sake of your children, my sister-in-law endured it in the end and did not really divorce you. But how did you treat my sister-in-law? Itâs true that I am your biological sister, but I am also a woman. Looking at your attitude towards my sister-in-law from a womanâs perspective is really chilling.â
Marco: ââ¦â
Kathrynâs criticism left him speechless. But when he mentioned what happened last night, he hesitated for a moment and then said to Kathryn, âShiloh is dead; do you know that?â
Kathryn: âI know, mom told me. Her death has nothing to do with me. You killed her.â
Marco: âWhy did I kill her? It was obviously her mother and her brothers who quarreled with her and forced her, so she had an accident and died. It was they who killed her. And if your sister-in-law hadnât called her mother and brothers, Shiloh wouldnât have died.â
Marco said it bitterly. He was blaming Erika, both inside and outside of her words.
He felt that Erika indirectly killed Shiloh.
Kathryn stared at him. She felt that Marco was hopeless.
