Chapter 3195
Married at First Sight
Evan went to find his grandma, but she asked him to solve it himself.
He asked grandma to agree to his substitution. Grandma also said that she just chose someone for him. If he really doesnât like it, he can also find someone he likes, but her character and temperament must pass the test.
Evan felt that Foxâs character was not bad. Although she had a bit of a temper, she was still a reasonable person.
He just didnât know the foxâs family background.
âBusy working?â Serenity asked Zachary warmly. Her gentle words brought Evan back from his thoughts.
Zachary: âWell, weâre done, we can go.â
Serenity stood up and called to her nephew, âSonny, pack your books; letâs go to dinner.â
Sonny yelled, immediately packing up his books and stuffing them back into his schoolbag. Then he picked up the small schoolbag and opened his arms to Zachary, asking him to carry him away.
Zachary picked him up lovingly, scratched his nose lightly, and said, âYou still want your uncle to carry you.â
Sonny: âWhen I grow up, my uncle wonât be able to hold me anymore.â
Zachary said with a smile, âSo, Uncle must hurry up and hug you. Otherwise, when you grow up, Uncle wonât be able to hug you when he gets old.â
Sonny looked arrogant.
Zachary hugged Sonny and held Serenity with one hand.
Evan felt that he was like a big, dazzling light bulb. He didnât dare to say a word, and tried to hide behind them, walking silently, so as not to be discovered by Zachary.
The York Corporation was not far from the Wiltspoon Hotel.
Soon, the group arrived at the Wiltspoon Hotel.
Evan entered the hotel with Zachary and Serenity, but he still couldnât figure out the reason.
Elian would send him messages from time to time, asking him if Serenity invited him to dinner, what benefits it would bring him, and asking him to remember his brothers, share the benefits with everyone, and not eat alone.
Evan couldnât help but reply to Elian: âYou donât know how worried I am right now. Do you want me to share something with you? Sister-in-law said I did something bad. Eldest brother said that I had disgraced the York family.â
Evan whispered the voice message, âIâm on tenterhooks right now. I canât even think of how Iâve lost face to the York family.â
Elian: âFourth brother, have you gotten into big trouble? Can you eat this meal? Haha, let me just say that if something good happens, itâs impossible for my eldest brother and sister-in-law not to inform us âonly you. It turned out that you were in trouble.â
Evanâs face looked very sad.
Why did he feel that Elian was gloating about his misfortune?
Elian stopped sending messages to Evan. Anyway, his eldest brother and sister-in-law invited the fourth brother to dinner, which was not a good thing.
If something good happened, the eldest brother and sister-in-law would never forget it. They were all his good, younger brothers.
Because they were members of their own family, Zachary and his wife took the elevator straight to the top floor and entered the hotelâs presidential suite, where Zachary usually rested.
âEvan, please wait here. Iâve invited someone to have dinner with me. Now send her a message and ask her to go upstairs. Later, you can help me invite her in.â
Before entering the suite, Serenity suddenly turned to Evan and said,.
Evan felt relieved when he heard that his sister-in-law had invited others to dinner. If outsiders are present, the brother and sister-in-law will still save face for him.
âOkay.â Evan readily agreed.
Serenity took out her cell phone and called the number on the business card Abby gave her.
Abby quickly answered Serenityâs call.
Abby: âMiss Hunt.â
Serenity: âMiss Du, are you free now?â
Abby was silent and then said, âMiss Hunt, you said you would treat me to dinner tonight, so I didnât dare to go anywhere for fear of missing out on President Hunt treating me to dinner.â
Serenity smiled. âI am in the presidential suite on the top floor of the Wiltspoon Hotel. You can take the elevator straight to the top floor. I have people waiting for you. You can see him soon after you get out of the elevator.â
âOkay, Iâll go now.â Abby responded.
âThen see you later.â Serenity hung up the phone first.
