Chapter 3250
Married at First Sight
âWere those Chelseaâs family just now?â After sitting down, Jasmine asked Serenity.
Serenity said, âIt should be her. She is living a very comfortable life and is dressed like jewels.â
Before Liberty got divorced, Chelsea went to the bookstore to complain to Serenity. Jasmine had met her several times.
Jasmine couldnât even remember such a top-notch woman.
âis her.â Serenity responded calmly, âLucas called out Sonny twice, and she even covered Lucasâs mouth to prevent us from eating him. She used to go to my sisterâs house with her whole family to eat and drink every weekend. She wouldnât help with anything, but would point fingers and pick on my sister.â
No matter how they changed, the Brown family was still the best. They really felt that Wiltspoon was too small, and people they didnât like would always meet by chance once in a while.
Abby didnât know those past events, so she didnât ask; she just kept her ears open and listened.
Jasmine said, âBrown family is really weird. So many things have happened, and we thought they would change it. We thought too much.â
Sere said, âFor a while, Chelsea was helping my sister, helping her target Jessica. That was because she rescued her little treasure. When Jessica went in, she thought she had repaid our kindness and was not like before. She often denigrated Brother Duncan in front of Sonny and said bad things about Brother Duncan. She didnât want my sister and brother Duncan to get married smoothly.â
Jasmine immediately said to Sonny, âSonny, you canât listen to their nonsense. Your Uncle Duncan is a very good man who treats you and your mother very well. Donât listen to your father and your auntâs words.â
Sonny nodded sensibly. âAuntie, I know, I like Uncle Duncan the most now, and I also want Uncle Duncan to be my second father.â
Liberty told Sonny about his real father and stepfather. Sonnyâs stepfather was also his father. For his age, she said that if his mother married Uncle Duncan, then Uncle Duncan, as the stepfather, would have to raise him with his mother. This way, he would have done what he was supposed to do and raised him. Not being thankful is not a good trait for him to have. He should respect Uncle Duncan and be loyal to him.
He would not!
Duncan treated Sonny better than Hank.
In Sonnyâs young mind, Duncan occupied a more important position.
Hank spent too little time with Sonny. Sonny knew that Hank was his father, but his feelings for him were getting weaker and weaker.
Soon they started eating too.
Sonny sat between Serenity and Jasmine. The two of them brought Sonny food from time to time, and he ate happily.
Abby looked at Sonny and praised him: âSonny is really sensible and well-behaved. A child of his age cannot sit still. He will move around, run around, and even cry.â
However, Sonny only cared about eating. He ate with gusto and wouldnât be unable to sit still like other children.
Sonny said while eating, âMy aunt said that food is the most important thing for people, so eat it first.â
Abby chuckled. âSister Seren, your nephew has been greatly influenced by you.â
Serenity said, âIâve been carrying him since he was a little kid, and heâs almost four years old now, so it wonât have much of an impact. When Sonny is playing, play freely, and follow the adults when going out. Then he will be well-behaved and not disturb us.â
Abby said, âChildren like this are really angels. When I get married, I hope to have an angel baby like Sonny.â
Jasmine teased Abby, âYouâd better catch Evan first.â
Abby said while picking up food for herself, âHe doesnât love me. I originally wanted to fight for it, but now I donât have much confidence anymore. Everyone says that the son of the York family is very devoted to relationships. If she falls in love with someone else, no matter how hard she tries, he will never fall in love with her.â
Jasmine said to Serenity, âThis is the second Elisa.â
Abby said, âDonât you think what I said makes sense?â
