Chapter 3611
Married at First Sight
â Silver Fox looked at Kevin and smiled at
Donald. âYes, Kevin is impressive, a good match for your daughter, Hayden.â
Donald responded, âYour sons-in-law are all outstanding. Iâve heard you have many talented female apprentices too. Maybe one of them could be a match for one of your sons-in-law.â
Zachary and Kevin remained silent.
Dakota, a friend of Silver Fox, joined the conversation. âHis female apprentices listen to him about everything except marriage. When he pushes them to get married, they remind him that he never married and has lived a good life without worries in his old age. They argue that theyâre starting to train young apprentices as their own children. When these apprentices grow up and are independent, they can support them in their old age, so they donât see the need for marriage and children.â
Silver Fox shot Dakota a look. âYour precious apprentice is married, so you feel relieved and think your job is done. But when Sariyah wasnât married yet, you were just as worried about her.â
Dakota laughed. âNow that Iâve fulfilled my duty, Iâm just waiting to become a grandparent.â
When older folks gather, they often talk about the younger generation and their hopes for grandchildren.
Just then, the butler approached Donald respectfully. âSir, Madam, Miss Hunt, and others have arrived.â
Liberty was on her way to pick up Audrey and the others.
The original plan was to welcome Audrey and Old Mr. Jimenez at the hotel, but Donald personally invited everyone to the Queen familyâs home. Even though Liberty didnât live with the Queen family, she often came over for meals.
âBig Brother Jimenez is finally here.â
Silver Fox, Dakota, and the others said a few words to Donald, then headed to the mansionâs entrance.
Donald, who had known Old Mr. Jimenez for a long time, went out with his wife, sons, and daughters to greet them. As hosts, they believed in personally welcoming their guests.
A few minutes later, everyone entered the luxurious hall, chatting and laughing.
The Queen family had prepared a meal in advance. Knowing that Audrey and her group hadnât eaten yet, Donald invited everyone to the dining room to continue their conversation over dinner.
After dinner, Liberty took a walk with Audrey.
âIs Clarissa waiting for you at the cemetery?â
Liberty had only learned later that Clarissa had gone to the Farrell family cemetery early to wait for Audrey and the others.
Thankfully, they had help from Silver Fox, whose skilled apprentice, Finnegan, was even more powerful than Julian. As Silver Fox said, if Finnegan couldnât uncover the information they needed, it would be difficult for anyone else to do so.
After receiving the news, they discussed their strategy and planned how to respond.
Zachary guessed that Clarissa wouldnât make a move at the cemetery. She wanted to trap them all at once.
Knowing that Clarissa was plotting to eliminate them in one fell swoop, they rushed to
Jensburg to create the illusion that her plan was about to succeed. In reality, even if Clarissa managed to lure them into the Farrell family mansion and set it on fire, they had a way to escape.
Old Mr. Jimenez revealed that there was a secret underground passage in the Farrell family mansion, built by the previous matriarch, Libertyâs grandmother. Only her grandmother and Old Mr.
Jimenez knew about it.
