Chapter 3615
Married at First Sight
Audrey nodded and said, âLiberty, youâve already taken care of everything, and that puts my mind at ease. I just hope we all get home safely.
Seren mentioned that Zachary would pick her and Sonny up from FC Manor. Duncan also made it clear that you must return to Wiltspoon safely. Heâs waiting for you to get the marriage certificate so you can celebrate the New Year together.â Audrey held Libertyâs hand, smiling as she talked about Liberty and Duncanâs marriage. âIâm thrilled to see you and Duncan getting married, planning your wedding, and watching Seren have her baby. Iâm happy for your mother too.â
Blushing, Liberty asked, âIsnât it too rushed to get the certificate during the New Year?â Audrey replied, âGetting a marriage certificate isnât the same as having a wedding, so thereâs no rush. Just like Zachary and Seren, they got their certificate first and then took their time planning the wedding.
Duncan promised you a grand wedding and wonât disappoint you.
It brings me peace knowing you and your sister have found good partners and are living happy lives. The men you both chose are responsible, so I donât worry about you being mistreated.
Elisa and Remy are also doing well. Now, Iâm only concerned about Lelandâs marriage. Heâs the same age as you but a couple of months older, and while Sonny is already in kindergarten, Leland doesnât even have a girlfriend.
We spoiled him too much, letting him do as he pleased, which led to him being away from home all the time. Now, heâs in his early thirties and still single.â
Audrey continued with concern, âLiberty, when you get back to Wiltspoon, you should help Leland find someone so he can settle down.â
Liberty shared her concern, âAunt, I donât know many girls. The good ones are already taken, and I wouldnât introduce anyone unsuitable to Leland. Itâs hard for me to find someone for him.
But there are plenty of young women at the company. If Leland is serious, he wonât have trouble finding someone who meets his standards.â Liberty put the responsibility back on Leland.
Audrey sighed, âThatâs true. If he wants to find someone, we donât need to push him; heâll do it himself. But if heâs not interested, pushing him every day wonât help. Letâs just leave it be. When the time is right, it will happen naturally.â
If Leland really doesnât want to get married, Audrey, as his mother, will have to accept it. Luckily, Clive has given her a grandson.
And with Elisa marrying into the Johnson family, it brings some comfort to Audrey as she grows older.
âAunt, if I do end up taking care of things in Jensburg, should I change my last name to Farrell?
Duncan will come live with us, and any daughter we have will carry my surname. Will the Lewis family be okay with that?â
Audrey and Serenity had already discussed this with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis.
The Lewis family said that as long as Liberty and Duncan are happy, nothing else matters.
With four sons in the Lewis family, if Duncan is willing to live with Libertyâs family, thatâs his choice. If they have a daughter in the future, whether her last name is Farrell or Lewis, sheâll still be Duncan and Libertyâs child.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis were very open-minded. Their youngest son loved Liberty, and as long as they were happy, that was all that mattered. Even if Duncan lived with Libertyâs family, he would still be their son.
