Chapter 3665
Married at First Sight
After a moment, Elora said, âBring your husband with you. I wouldnât want him to think youâre coming to my house to have an affair.â
Rosie replied, âOkay, Iâll bring him. I just want to see that man youâre talking about so highly. He must not be ugly.â
Elora paused and then said, âActually, maybe you shouldnât come. Iâm worried that once you see him, youâll regret being married because you canât chase handsome men anymore.â
Rosie responded enthusiastically, âWow, he must be really handsome! Now I definitely have to come and see him. If youâre warning me like that, it means heâs really something. Elora, if you ever get tired of this chef, let me know so I can take him off your hands. A good-looking chef would be a treat for the eyesâI might not even feel hungry!â
Elora laughed, âFor now, Iâm still enjoying his cooking. Iâm not tired of it yet. He really loves to cook.
I swear he mustâve been a royal chef in a past life. Heâs young, but his skills in the kitchen are incredible.
Iâve tried his food. If thereâs anything that needs tweaking, Iâll give him feedback, and heâll fix it for the next meal. Itâs hard to find any real faults. Even if something isnât perfect, itâs still delicious.
Honestly, I donât think heâs even shown his best skills yet.â
Elora truly felt this way. She believed Tatum was holding back and not putting in his full effort.
Even if something wasnât perfect, she still enjoyed the food. Unlike other chefs, whose mistakes made the food unappetizing, Tatum would always quickly understand her suggestions and make improvements.
âTo be honest, itâs a shame Tatum didnât compete in the God of Cooking contest. He couldâve beaten a lot of experienced chefs and won the title.â
Rosie replied, âElora, now youâre making me even more curious. I have to see this guy. When are you free? Iâll come by for a meal.â
Elora smiled and said, âIâll definitely be home on New Yearâs Day.â
Rosie sighed and said, âI canât crash your New Yearâs Eve dinner. Itâs fine. If youâre not around, I can visit my aunt, take a quick look at the handsome guy, and then head home without eating.â
Elora chuckled, âRosie, youâre married. Be carefulâyour husband might get jealous if he hears this.â
âItâs fine. He knows how I am. I just appreciate beautiful people and things; I donât want to take them for myself. My husband is handsome enough. For now, Iâm very happy with himâheâs got good looks, money, a great body, and heâs great in bed. His skills⦠well, I wonât go into that. You donât have a boyfriend yet.â Rosie laughed to hide her embarrassment.
The conversations between married and unmarried women can be different.
âIâll finish my soup first, and weâll hang out when weâre both free. I wonât go to the high school reunion, though. Hope you all have fun.â Elora didnât feel like making time for it.
Sometimes, reunions turn into a competitionâmen compare their careers and income, while women compare their husbands and children.
Elora would rather attend a social event and talk business than go to a reunion. At least with business, she could make some money.
âAlright, see you another time.â
Rosie knew that the class repâs hopes were futile. Elora never attended reunions, whether for high school or collegeâshe was always too busy.
