Chapter 646
Married at First Sight
Liberty was the one who drove them here.
She told her son to greet them.
Sonny did not want Audrey to hold him, but he was willing to greet them. He addressed them the way his mother taught him.
âThis child is so cute.â
Alice smiled. âCan I hold him?â
Audrey said, âSonny doesnât even want me to hold him. Will he let you hold him instead?â
Alice reached out tentatively. Unexpectedly, when Sonny saw her, he suddenly reached out as well for Alice to hold him.
Audrey was speechless. âSonny is picky with people.â
âHeâs usually not picky. He was just scared because of the last time. Heâll want you to hold him the next time we meet, Aunt Audrey.â
Even Liberty was surprised that Sonny was willing to go to Alice.
âLiberty and Serenity, this is Clive, my eldest son. Heâs your cousin.â
Audrey introduced her sons to her nieces.
The sisters greeted Clive.
Clive smiled back and said nothing..
Audrey then pointed to her second son and said, âThis is my younger son, Anthony. Heâs two years older than Liberty and three years older than Serenity.â
Liberty and Serenity greeted him as well.
âAnt Swer.â
Sonny wanted to return to his auntâs embrace after letting Alice hold him for a while and Serenity quickly reached out to hug her nephew.
Cliveâs eagle eyes noticed the diamond ring on Serenityâs left ring finger. As he looked at it, he found that it was rather familiar.
It seemed that not long ago, he saw the same type of diamond ring on a certain someoneâs hand.
Clive was secretly ogling at the diamond ring on Serenityâs finger for a long time.
âLetâs go in. Itâs cold outside, and the wind is strong today.â
Darrell called everyone into the villa. At the same time, he said to his daughter, âMove the car in, Elisa.â
Elisa complied and moved her car to park at the open parking lot. Liberty followed her and drove.
Serenityâs car into the villa as well.
Chatters and touches of laughter were heard as they made their way into the gorgeous villa.
The maids brought in the gifts that the Hunt sisters bought.
When Audrey saw that her nieces came bearing abundant gifts, she said, âIâm not a stranger anymore.
Thereâs no need to buy so many things when you visit. I donât lack anything.â
âThey werenât much, Aunt Audrey.â
Serenity walked alongside Audrey with Sonny in her arms. Elisa parked the car and waited for Liberty.
before catching up to the rest in front of them.
When they entered the luxurious main building, everyone took their seats on the sofa.
âAlice.â
Clive tugged his wifeâs sleeve and when Alice looked at him, he whispered, âI have something to say to you. Letâs go upstairs.â
Alice whispered back, âCan it wait till later? Your cousins had just arrived.â
âMom, Dad, and Elisa are with them.â
Clive managed to recall whose hand wore the same familiar diamond ring. He wanted his wife to find a chance to ask Serenity about it later.
Alice looked at her husbandâs serious expression. When she saw that her inâlawsâ attention was not on them, she quietly followed him upstairs.
Back in the coupleâs room, Clive closed the door and even locked it so that no one could enter.
Alice asked curiously, âWhatâs wrong, Clive? You look so serious.â
