Chapter 13

Fox 13

Le Renard

"Well...I...Um...Couldn't sleep." My bottom lip caught in between my teeth as I prayed they would let this little white lie go without questioning.

The clearing had now awakened with the low music of the crickets and the rustling of the nocturnal creatures. Levi's eyes were a brilliant orange, like a slowly burning flame as he stared at me, no doubt reading my aura. I'm sure he knew enough from Jason to know what the basic color changes meant. His eyebrows scrunched up in confusion before he spoke.

"Are you sure about that?" Levi questioned folding his arms across his chest, his eyes narrowing into slits as he glared at me. I suppose I wasn't as lucky as I had hoped for.

"Yeah?" I replied, unsure of whether or not they actually believed any of this.

"That sounds like more of a question than an answer to a question." Alistair quipped. My lips parted, another lie waiting on the tip of my tongue but the words died just as Merula's voice echoed in my mind. She had told me not to lie to them and for whatever reason I was inclined to listen to her advice.

"Listen, I'll tell you what I was doing out here but not while we're out here. Who knows who could be listening." I replied genuinely worried about who could sneak up and hear everything about my strange meeting with her.

"Fine. Let's get back to the room before anyone catches us out here." Levi answered tersely. I shrunk back a little at the sound of his voice. The rough tone rung clearly in my ears and my whole body slumped at the thought that I disappointed him. Clearly he wasn't too pleased with my behavior and how could I blame him? I was here running around in the same forest that we had all been attacked in without any type of help from anyone.

We climbed over fallen tree limbs and through dense brush, maneuvering our way through the forest by moon light alone. It was completely silent and not the good type of silent. The entire way back her voice echoed in my mind reminding me to tell them what was happening and easing my worries about them being able to be trusted.

We made our way back to the dorms and momentarily I was worried about how we were going to make it back into the room. I hadn't thought that far ahead when I left the room earlier this night. Alistair didn't miss a beat and managed to levitate us up to our window which was left open. It was obvious that they had thought about this all before leaving to chase after me.

Once our feet hit the ground I dropped down onto the floor feeling completely exhausted from my night's adventure. In truth I wanted collapse into my bed tucked into Levi's side with my arms wrapped around Alistair immersed in a deep slumber but I knew what they expected of me.

"So..." Levi began urging me to begin the story.

"Well I was lying in bed..." I began after a deep sigh. I explained everything from when I first heard the voice to when they had come to get me. I could feel their emotions fluctuating greatly as I told the story. I may not have been able to read auras like Levi but I could feel that they weren't pleased with me and the decisions that I made tonight.

"Are you serious Tae?" Levi erupted when he was sure that I was done speaking. "You could've died! You don't know anything about these people and you go out there to meet them?"

"I know Levi, trust me I know but I needed to get some answers." I muttered as I crossed my legs sitting on the floor.

"Well, why didn't you wake us? Why didn't you bring us with you? We could've been back-up or something..." He questioned.

"I don't know. I didn't want to involve you guys I guess. She never said anything about bringing you so I didn't." I admitted.

"Even if she didn't say to bring us you should have. We're your friends Tae and even more than that we're supposed to be partners in this. I'm your mage and you're my familiars. I have to be able to trust you and I can't trust you if you're running around hiding things from me." Alistair replied.

"Does that apply to you too?" I questioned annoyed at his hypocritical response.

"Wh-What do you mean?" He stuttered clearly caught off guard by my comment.

"Alistair you're hiding something from us but you're preaching to me about honesty." I replied crossing my arms over my chest.

"That's not entirely true." He replied quietly as he looked down at the floor avoiding all eye contact with either of us. His delicate fingers grasped the hem of his shirt as he twisted the corner round and round his index finger in an attempt to distract himself from our questioning.

"Then tell us." I prodded hoping he'd hear the desperate plea in my voice and crack.

"I want to, I really do but now isn't the right time. You gotta trust me..." He pleaded but before I could reply he continued as if already sensing my next words. "...and I know that's kind of hypocritical but this is different."

"What are you talking about Alistair?" Levi questioned.

"I can't tell you..." He sighed and I could tell that he was really broken up about it. He turned to look away into the next room as he crossed his arms over his chest. This was really bothering him.

"Why not?" I questioned softly not wanting to push him too hard.

"I just can't. Just give me some more time and I promise that I'll tell you when I can." He replied with pleading eyes. I wanted to hang on to the mistrust that was brewing dangerously beneath the surface but there was just something in his eyes that begged me to give him a second chance and I couldn't help but relent.

"A little more time Alistair but then you need to tell us what's happening. There's no way we can operate as a group with so many secrets between us." Levi answered reading my thoughts.

"I will! I promise I will!" He sprung forward wrapping his arms tightly around Levi's waist and nuzzling his face into his shirt. Levi wrapped both arms around Alistair holding him closely to him. I stood there unsure if I was welcomed to join them but unwilling to interrupt their moment to find out. Until Levi opened one arm wide, welcoming me to join and just like that a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.

That night we slept wrapped in each other's arm, basking in the warmth that was produced. It was nice to finally be able to drift off into a peaceful sleep with the two most important people in my lives at this moment.

****

The morning came and found us in bed still and I felt infinitely better than I had yesterday. We were already told that we were allowed to stay in today to help Levi about and to help him adjust with his new eyesight. Alistair nuzzled his face into my bare chest, his warm breath fanning over my naked flesh creating goose bumps to rise in its wake.

Since we moved in here I had stopped becoming embarrassed when it came to Levi's clothing optional lifestyle. It was a common thing now that I was a familiar but what I still wasn't used to was waking up to Levi's morning wood pressing firmly into my backside. The warmth of his member tucked intimately in between my cheeks, the thin fabric of my boxers the only barrier between us.

With his arms wrapped tightly around my waist he pulled me back into him burying his face into the crook of my neck. His bright red hair was faintly visible in my peripheral as it moved slightly with each breath he took. He wasn't awake yet his next action completely contradicted that. His hips seemed to jut forward burying that hot piece of flesh further in between my two globes.

My teeth dug into my bottom lip as I tried to keep my moan down. My eyes barely closed as I relished in the closeness of the two gorgeous guys sleeping in the same bed as me. He slowly continued the same thrusting motion which was little by little driving me crazy. I looked at Alistair, his face was flushed and his member was slowly starting to poke my thigh through his boxers. I guess the dream he was having was a particularly good one. I bit my lip harder as Levi jutted harder in between my cheeks making me blush profusely and moan softly. My eyes widened in fear. I hope they didn't hear me.

I covered my mouth with my hand hoping this would die down when I felt something soft and warm wrap around my nipple. I gasped arching my back and looked down at Alistair; he had his pretty pink plump lips locked around my nipple. The sight was enough to get me going as my cock hardened even more. Levi seemed to smell my arousal and finally woke up and looked at me.

"You okay, my little trouble maker?" He asked smirking, knowingly at me. I blushed even harder feeling the heat rush to my cheeks and slowly spread down my neck.

"I-I'm fin-ahh!!" I moaned loudly as Levi bit my neck as he ground his wonderful cock between my thick cheeks. The feeling was so good I had to do something.

Reaching my hand down I slipped it in Alistair's boxers and firmly gripped his member in my hand slowly stroking it watching his face flush and his mouth form this perfect little "o" as I pleasured him. Levi continued biting and sucking on my neck his hands gripping my cheeks, squeezing and slightly spanking them causing me to moan like a little whore. I ran my thumb over Alistair's slit repeatedly making him moan and thrust into my hand.

"T-Tae..! Please..." He begged. I smirked slightly looking at him.

"Please what?" Leaning in closer, still grinding against Levi, I bite his earlobe gently scraping my teeth against it and whispered. "Tell me what you want me to do Alistair."

He blushed up at me thrusting harder into my grip and blushed brightly. "I-I want more...Please...T-Touch me..." He stuttered clearly embarrassed but turned on by his own words. Wordlessly I nodded.

"Strip and sit on the bed." I told him watching him as he took off Levi's shit and his boxers and climbed on the bed scooting all the way to the headboard. Levi smirked.

"If he's getting naked so are you Tae." He said as he slipped his hand in my boxers rubbing his finger against my puckering hole making me gasp as I moaned loudly and nodded.

I got up and slowly slid my boxers off. I looked up and Alistair was watching me undress with his legs spread wide open, his hand slowly stroking his cock from the base to the tip. His luscious lip caught between his perfectly white teeth and his eyes glazed over with desire. I groaned softly and climbed onto the bed.

I removed his hand from his cock leaning down I slowly licked his head swirling my tongue around it lapping at his slit repeatedly making him moan and thrust into my mouth. I looked up at him to see him throw his head back and moan loudly. I felt hands on my cheeks making me look back at Levi to see him spread my cheeks and slowly lick my needy hole with his long warm tongue causing me to moan and take Alistair further into my mouth the vibrations from my moans traveling down his cock making him thrust up all the way into my mouth.

I swallowed around his head causing him to scream as Levi's tongue abused my hole. I continued to deep throat Alistair sucking his head swirling my tongue along his length. Levi slowly inserted one finger inside me curling and pressing it against my walls. I groaned around Alistair's cock bobbing my head gently squeezing his balls as Levi inserted another finger scissoring and curling his fingers inside me pushing them in knuckle deep. I could tell Alistair was close to coming so I sped up sucking his cock harder and bobbing my head faster his hands pulling my hair causing me to moan. Levi's fingers hit a spot deep inside of me making me buck my hips and scream around Alistair's cock.

I was just about to get Alistair to cum when there was a knock on the door causing us all to freeze in fear then scramble to get our clothes on. I grabbed Levi's t-shirt and handed it to him blushing as I saw him sucking on his fingers that he had just put inside me, he caught me staring and winked making me blush harder and look away. Alistair was the first one ready so he went to answer the door while Levi and I finished getting dressed.

My heartbeat was still racing as the sound of the door unlocking echoed in our small apartment like home. This was the closest I had ever been to another male and I was addicted; mainly with the two men I shared the experience with. I silently cursed whoever it was that had interrupted such an exciting new moment.

"Well Jason told me that I should come over before my classes to see how Levi was doing with his aura reading." A soft voice carried down the hall to us. It was the girl that was supposed to be helping Levi with his new ability. As I shove one foot through the leg of my pants as I looked back up at Levi who was completely dressed and now fixing his hair. He smirked at me and strolled out the room as if nothing had just happened. I quickly scrambled into the rest of my clothes and followed behind him.

"That's completely fine. I'm glad you stopped by. I have a million questions that I would love to ask you." Levi turned on the charm and waved his hand towards the couch that we had in the living room portion of the dorm.

"Well...um...Alright. What do you want to know?" She questioned as she sat down on one end of the large couch, sitting her bag down on the table in front of her. Levi, instead of sitting down besides her like a normal person pushed her bag to the side and sat down right in front of her on the table. Her cheek turned bright red as she sat back a little, trying in vain to put distance between them.

From first glance I would say that she was human but in this school it was hard to tell sometimes. She had a light accent that I couldn't place and she was quiet and seemed to be the type to keep to herself a lot. Her hair was jet black hung off to one side of her face with slight hints of purple when the light hit it just the right way and her eyes were a soft lavender that seemed to darken when she got extremely nervous or flustered, which she was right now.

Alistair and I stifled a laugh as we watched the exchange between the two of them. Instead of helping her out we decided we would make a little breakfast for all of us. I was starving and in need of some serious energy and I'm sure they were too. We opened the fridge to see that it was completely void of everything and just for a moment I forgot that I had moved to a magical realm where things like an empty fridge were a simple fix.

I closed the doors to the refrigerator and concentrated on what it was that I wanted to eat today. I waited a minute or two just in case and then I threw the doors open, excited by what I saw. The shelves were full and practically overflowing with food now. All types of food that I could only imagine before were sitting on the shelves ready to be devoured.

Alistair reached past me and grabbed the carton of eggs and the package of bacon. Stepping back I allowed him to take over as he moved gracefully around are little kitchen grabbing pans, plates, and ingredients to make breakfast. I was almost afraid to ask if he needed help with whatever elaborate meal it seems he's already concocted.

"If you could get the orange juice and the cheese that would be great Tae." He instructed me with a smile as he gestured to the fridge.

"Sure." I shrugged and grabbed the large glass pitcher of orange juice and the shredded cheese. He had already started cooking on three of the four burners and was currently whipping something together in a large mixing bowl. He let the bowl go and it continued to whip and stir itself as he moved quickly over to the pan with the bacon.

He was mesmerizing and seemingly in his element as he moved from one end to the other without missing a beat. As if he was the conductor in the symphony called breakfast and I was simply there to flip the page of his music book. He stretched his hand out towards me and instantly I handed him the cheese which he sprinkled into an Omelette. He motioned me away and told me he would take care of the rest. So I went back to the living room to see what the two were talking about.

"It takes some time to get adjusted this particular ability because it's always there. I've learned how to turn it off just enough that I can get through school without reading everyone's auras all day. It becomes irritating when you can read everyone's emotions without their knowledge." She explained.

"I've managed to block out Alistair and Tae's auras so far but I doubt I'll be able to black that many when I have to go back to class." Levi admitted.

"Well there are a lot of shifters who are old fashioned when it comes to controlling your abilities and I'm all for that but when push comes to shove there are newer, easier ways to control it. There's one store in particular that you can order from. They have contacts and glasses that block the aura from anyone you look at so all you see is that person. It comes in handy when you're training." She offered.

"Really? That would be great to have." Levi answered.

"Everyone to the table." Alistair called out interrupting their conversation.

"Oh...um...I guess we can meet up later then."

"You're not staying for breakfast?" I questioned.

"Me?" The girl squeaked, her cheeks now bright red.

"Yes you. It's the least we can do since you're helping Levi out like this." I replied with a bright smile.

"I suppose I can stay." She replied quietly.

"Great! Then you can answer more of my questions." Levi smiled as he reached forward grabbing her hands and dragging her up from the couch. She blushed harder, stuttered out a few minor protests about being able to walk by herself but Levi never really listened.

"Don't worry, you'll get used to him." Alistair tried to comfort our flustered guest as he carried a tray of what smelt like cinnamon rolls out to the table. "What's your name by the way?"

"Vena." She answered as she was sat down in the seat besides Levi. I sat down across from her and Alistair sat on my right side. He had managed to create a virtual smorgasbord of food for us to eat. There were waffles and toast, sausages and bacon, omelettes and even hash browns. Not to mention the coffee and tea that sat in one corner of the table besides the orange juice.

"I'm Alistair and that's Tae. It's very nice to meet you."

"Thanks it's nice to meet you too." She smiled.

"Well now that the introductions are out of the way how about we eat?" I questioned only to be answered by hands darting out and grabbing at the delicious array of food that Alistair had set on the table. Even Vena had finally warmed up to us enough to reach out and make a plate of her own as Levi rambled on about nothing in particular. This morning was definitely the start of something new and I wouldn't have it any other way.
