After helping Enoch put on his clothes, Xia Ning went to take a shower. She did not say a word to Mr. Qiao at all throughout the entire process. Mr. Qiao could not help but ask his son,”what’s wrong with your mother?”

Enoch looked at Qiao Yu and replied,””It must be because Daddi asked mommy to dry your hair for you. She’s angry.”

Qiao Yu looked at his son and frowned. His IQ didn’t seem like his and Xia Ning’s son at all.

Enoch was exhausted from the ten-hour flight, so he fell asleep while playing in bed.

When Xia Ning came out, she saw Enoch sleeping soundly on the bed. Her eyes were filled with gentleness as she walked over to cover him with a blanket. She looked around the house and did not see Qiao Yu. Could he have gone outside?

She glanced at her wet hair and went into the bathroom to dry it.

When she came out again, Qiao Yu was sitting on the sofa with a laptop on his knees.

“Hey, you haven’t returned my SIM card to me!” Xia Ning walked over and said.

Qiao Yu looked up at Xia Ning,”with me by your side, do you still have time to look at your phone?”

Xia Ning was speechless. Did he mean that she was afraid that she would give him the cold shoulder by playing with her phone? it wasn’t like he didn’t know that she didn’t like to play with her phone.

When she was young, she liked racing, drinking, dancing, and a series of crazy things. However, she had no interest in playing with her phone.

Xia Ning sat down beside Qiao Yu to see what he was doing. She realized that he was browsing the web, talking about the local customs and practices of Hawaii.

She couldn’t help but glance at him. She felt that he was doing something else. He turned it off the moment she came. There was an 80% chance that something was wrong.

Qiao ran closed her notebook and looked at Xia Ning.””Are you hungry?”

Xia Ning nodded and said,”a little.” Her eyes were still on Qiao Yu’s laptop.

Qiao Yu noticed her expression and asked,””You want to play on the computer?”

“You’ll pay?” Xia Ning raised her eyebrows.

Qiao Yu handed the notebook to her,”what’s mine is yours. There’s nothing that you can’t use.”

Seeing his calm attitude, Xia Ning smiled and said,””No need, I don’t want to see any electronic products these few days.”

“Yes.” Qiao Yu put down his laptop and walked towards the bed,”I’ll order food now.” He picked up the phone and called the customer service department.

Looking at the notebook beside her, Xia Ning smiled. She was not interested in prying into his secrets. Anyway, he would not harm her. Since she was already here, even if he really wanted to sell it, she could not resist.

Xia Ning got up and walked to the bed to wake Enoch up.

About half an hour later, the doorbell rang.

Xia Ning went to open the door and saw Elle standing there. She smiled and greeted,”Ms. Elle.”

“Miss Astria, I’m here to deliver the dinner that I’ve specially prepared for boss and the young master.” Elle said with a smile.

Xia Ning’s brows twitched. She looked at the woman in front of her and the smile in her eyes deepened. Was this for Qiao Yu and Enoch, not her? was this what this beautiful lady meant?! Why does it sound like a provocation?

“Xia Ning, are you here to deliver food?” Qiao Yu’s voice came from behind.

“Yes,” Xia Ning replied. She nodded at Elle and said,”sorry to trouble you.” She turned around and entered the room.

Elle looked at Xia Ning’s back in a daze. Xia Ning? The woman in front of him was Xia Ning?
