At the side, Song Chenfeng watched as Xia Ning left Shen Donglai speechless. Song Chenfeng even wanted to raise his thumb for her. Xia Ning was really eloquent.

The topic returned to the inheritance again. Shen Donglai looked at Xia Ning and said in a low voice, “It is true that your great-grandfather’s will does not mention your grandmother. But you are the Shen family’s child. We won’t treat you unfairly.”

Xia Ning looked at Shen Donglai with amusement. How could he say these words with a guilty conscience? He even wanted to take his own mother’s and sister’s money. He was absolutely awful.

If the will did not mention Xia Ning’s grandmother, would Shen Donglai even speak to her today? He just wanted to block her mouth with other benefits.

Xia Ning suddenly looked towards Shen Yuanqi who was sitting quietly aside, “It seems that you agree with Mr. Shen Donglai, insisting that your father’s will does not mention my grandmother?!”

Shen Yuanqi looked towards Xia Ning with an unreadable expression in his turbid eyes. Perhaps nobody dared to read him.

“You don’t have the original version of the will. And nobody can help you prove it.”

The will was made more than 40 years ago. If people wanted to see it again today, they must find someone who was related to it at that time as well as the original version of the will. It was impossible.

This was the reason why Shen Dnglai insisted the will did not state that Xia Yunning had a part of the inheritance.

Xia Ning looked at Shen Yuanqi. Was he comforting himself or persuading her to let go?! Xia Ning curled her lips slightly, “It seems that everybody believes your point and thus has insisted on it till now.” Then, she looked at her watch and raised her eyebrows, “Time has passed and I can no longer wait. Let my lawyers deal with what is left. Mr. Zhang and Mr. Qi, it is your job to tackle what is left.”

Shen Donglai’s and Shen Weiran’s expressions changed slightly as they looked at Xia Ning. What did she mean by this?! Everybody’s gaze fell upon the two lawyers Xia Ning brought here.

Mr. Zhang and Mr. Qi stood up and said to Xia Ning respectfully, “Rest assured, Miss Xia. We will deal with what is left.”

After these words, Mr. Zhang immediately brought out a document from his briefcase and gave it to Shen Yuanqi opposite him, “Mr. Shen, this is your father’s will. Please read it.”
