Chapter 780 - I Haven’t Eaten Either

“Why, is Music King Jin rejected just like that?” The woman sitting next to him suddenly spoke with a teasing tone.

Jin Yan said nothing. No one knew what he was thinking.

Li Man crossed her legs and said, “I thought she would come after you called. Looks like I overestimated you.”

“She’s always a reasonable person. I already have a girlfriend. How could she eat with me like before?!” Jin Yan put away his phone and smiled at the person next to him. “Honey, it’s almost time for lunch. What do you want to eat?”

Li Man was surprised. Seeing Jin Yan’s gentle and calm face, she said subconsciously, “Amazing.”

“I asked my assistant to bring some fresh Australian beef over this morning. Wait for me. I’ll make some for you. I have a bottle of red wine for you to try.” As he spoke, Jin Yan got up and walked towards the kitchen.

Li Man looked at Jin Yan’s back with confusion in her eyes. She thought he would be angry. As expected, with his temper, it would be difficult for her to argue with him.

In the Qiao house, it was only two in the afternoon when Xia Ning came back. But to her surprise, Qiao Yu was already back.

At the door, Xia Ning stopped and looked at the man holding the newspaper. Enoch was playing with a racing car on the couch next to him.

Xia Ning was surprised. She touched Enoch’s stomach and asked subconsciously, “Didn’t you eat lunch?”

Enoch pouted and shook his head. He turned to Qiao Yu next to him, his eyes full of complaint.

Seeing the childish side of the father and son, Xia Ning was a bit speechless. She said to Enoch, “Mummy will cook for you now. Wait here.” As she spoke, she put him down and got up to walk to the kitchen. When she walked past Qiao Yu, she said in a low voice, “Come with me.”

Qiao Yu frowned and answered, “Sure.” He darted a provocative look at his son, then turned around and followed Xia Ning.

Enoch looked at Qiao Yu and Xia Ning’s back and curled his lips. Daddy was so cunning. He would always find a chance to take Mummy by himself. Forget it, he should just wait for dinner. Daddy was too much. If he did not eat, he would not let him eat!

As soon as she walked into the kitchen, Xia Ning went to the fridge to look for food. At the same time, she started to criticize Qiao Yu. “He’s already hungry. If you don’t give him food, aren’t you afraid that it’ll be bad for his stomach? Even if there’s no food to eat, he can eat some snacks to fill his stomach.”
