After getting rid of the car following her, Xia Ning drove back to the Qiao house.

As a high-end residential area, there was very little traffic near the Qiao house. This was because most of the people who came here were rich.

Under the streetlights along the road, a black Maserati was unimpeded. Xia Ning looked around and did not see any cars chasing after her. But when she was almost at the Qiao house, Zheng Ziming’s call came.

“Asteria, where are you?”

“I just got the news that someone is going to expose your relationship with Qiao Yu. I suspect there are paparazzi lurking outside the Qiao house and they are waiting to catch you.”

Xia Ning leaned against the back of the chair. “Seems like it was premeditated. This is not the first time.” But that time, she went back to the Mountain Villa to stay for a few days.

The price was Gao Lihua losing the 60 million she invested in the stock market.

No one has ever escaped unscathed after offending her.

“I just got the news all of a sudden. They said someone wants to expose who your backer is and vaguely revealed that the person’s last name is Qiao. So the person behind the news must know your relationship with Qiao Yu. Asteria, be careful.”

“Ha...” Xia Ning chuckled. “So what if they know? It’s the truth anyway. But I don’t like the word ‘backer’.”

Zheng Ziming went silent for a while on the other side and said suddenly, “Asteria, have you decided to go public with Qiao Yu?”

“I’m considering this.” Xia Ning did not plan to hide it from Zheng Ziming anymore.

“Are you crazy?” Zheng Ziming said somewhat angrily. “Why do you want to go public? Did he force you? Don’t agree!”

Xia Ning looked to the front calmly and smiled suddenly. “Didn’t you previously think we were good together?”

“That’s because I thought everything would be good as long as you are happy. But I never wanted you to make it public with him.” On the other side of the phone, Zheng Ziming’s voice was filled with agitation. “You know what it means to make it public.
