The next morning, Xia Ning woke up. When she got downstairs, she saw breakfast on the table.

Seeing Xia Ning coming over, Qiao Yu looked at her and said gently, “Come and have breakfast.”

Xia Ning looked at the fried-golden egg and said with a smile, “It looks good. If our President Qiao loses his job in the future, he can open a restaurant.”

“If that’s the case, I will probably starve to death.” Qiao Yu handed the milk to Xia Ning.

“Huh?” Xia Ning looked at him with confusion.

Qiao Yu darted a look at her and explained, “My restaurant only serves two people. Tell me, will I starve to death?”

Xia Ning looked at Qiao Yu and immediately understood from his eyes. He was obviously saying that his cooking skills were only shown to her and her son.

“President Qiao, don’t worry. As long as you cook for me for a day, I will never let you starve to death,” Xia Ning raised her eyebrows and said with a smile.

“Thank you, Boss.” Qiao Yu’s expression softened even more.

Xia Ning took a bite of the fried egg and suddenly thought of something. She said, “Are you busy this afternoon?”

“No, why?”

“When the press conference in the morning is over, let’s take Enoch to the amusement park.” Thinking of Enoch’s happy face after knowing about this, Xia Ning felt even better.

“Sure.” Qiao Yu nodded. All of a sudden, the scene of the family of three playing at the amusement park surfaced in his mind. His expression turned even gentler.

After dinner, Xia Ning called Gao Wanhua and told her about her schedule today.

Gao Wanhua received the call and was immediately happy. She hung up and quickly made arrangements. “Mother Wang, get the chauffeur to make arrangements. Yu and Xia Ning are going out with Enoch this morning.”

“Grandma!” Enoch shouted in a crisp voice and stared at Gao Wanhua with his big eyes.

Gao Wanhua realized that the good news had not been told to her grandson yet. She walked over immediately and picked Enoch up. She kissed him on the cheek and said with a smile, “I have good news. Your parents are taking you to the amusement park today. Tell Grandma, are you happy?”

“Grandma, is that true?” Enoch’s eyes widened and his eyes were dark. He looked at Gao Wanhua with hope.

Gao Wanhua nodded. “Of course it’s true. Your mother called me just now. See, your mother didn’t lie to you.”

“Yup, Mummy is the best!” Enoch said immediately.

Gao Wanhua heard this and deliberately put on a stern face. “Are you saying Grandma is not as good as Mummy?”

“No, Grandma is good too.” Enoch kissed Gao Wanhua on the cheek immediately.

Gao Wanhua looked at Enoch helplessly and scolded him with a smile. “You little brat. You know how to fool people at such a young age. No matter how good Grandma is, she’s not as good as your mum. Do you think I don’t know?”

Enoch stopped talking. He hugged Gao Wanhua’s neck with a smile and looked forward to the amusement park.

Gao Wanhua felt slightly relieved. She breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, she was able to keep her promise.

SE Entertainment suddenly said Xia Ning was going to hold a press conference to clarify the recent scandals, including the gossips with Qiao Yu. Although the reporters were caught by surprise, no one would miss such a good opportunity to dig up information. Early in the morning, the reporters blocked the entrance of SE Entertainment.
