Chapter 963

When Xia Ning woke up the next morning, Qiao Yu and Enoch were no longer in bed. She looked at the time and saw that it was still early, 7:30 am.

No one was making a scene this morning, so she could finally go to work properly.

She got out of bed and washed up. When she went downstairs, she saw the father and son sitting at the table and eating breakfast.

“Mommy ...” Enoch immediately called out to Xia Ning when she saw her.

Xia Ning walked over and looked at the sportswear the father and son were wearing. It was obvious that they had woken up early in the morning to do some outdoor exercise.

“And the corn juice, it got on my face.” Xia Ning walked to the dining table and sat down. She took out a tissue and helped him wipe the corn juice under his nose. She asked with a smile,””Why are you up so early again today?”

“Because Daddi is taking me out to play today!” Enoch immediately replied.

Xia Ning was surprised to hear this. She looked at Qiao Yu and smiled,””I was still saying that we should take him to the amusement park some other day. I didn’t manage to go last time, and I didn’t make it today either. When I’m not busy with work, we can go out and play as a family.”

Qiao Yu looked at Xia Ning and saw that she was calm and relaxed. It was obvious that she meant what she said. He was touched,”okay, when you’re free, let’s go out and play together.”

Xia Ning’s face turned red instantly. Qiao Yu was teasing her so early in the morning and her son was even making fun of her. She glared at Qiao Yu,”no need.” As he spoke, he picked up the sandwich and took a bite. He didn’t have time to swallow it and directly drank a mouthful of milk.

Seeing Xia Ning’s actions, Qiao Yu laughed and said helplessly,””Eat slowly, no one’s snatching it from you.”

After dinner, the driver sent Xia Ning to the set. Qiao Yu didn’t say he was going to send her because he had to take Enoch out.

Xia Ning looked at the father and son at the table who had said that they wanted to see her off without any intention of doing so. She felt empty inside and decided that she would spend more time with them after she was done with her work.

After the car that dropped Xia Ning off left, the father and son appeared at the door.

Enoch looked at the car that was driving away and looked up at his father.”Daddi, are you really not going to tell mommy?”

“It would still be a surprise if I told her.” Qiao ran glanced at her son and walked in.

Enoch nodded and followed his father into the room.
