AYLIN'S POV :

" Miss. Stone,  you need to calm down. " the officer stated as he tried convincing me that Nathan is alright and I shouldn't be worried.

" Calm down?  How do you think I can calm down? " I shouted as my pregnancy hormones kicked in adding fuel to my anger.

" Miss Stone. You shouldn't be stressing yourself. It's not good for the baby. "

" Then tell me what's going on and where the hell is Nathan? " I yelled at him .

" Mr Hyde is on his way Miss Stone.  And  he's fine. " he replied trying really hard to sound polite.

" Aylin what the hell is wrong with you?" Hailey demanded as she glared at me.

She turned towards the officer and gave him an apologetic smile.  " I'm sorry for her behaviour Officer. It's just her pregnancy hormones  "

" I know Miss Thomson. I'm used to it. " he replied with a chuckle.

" So I presume everything's fine here? " he asked after a few minutes of silence.

" Yes officer. We are good. Isn't it,Aylin? " she asked a little too politely.

" Everything's fine. " I replied with a fake smile.

" We will be outside. Don't hesitate to call us if you need anything. " he excused himself and left .

" Now you Missy, tell me what exactly is your problem? " she demanded the moment officer was gone.

" What is happening Hailey? What are you guys keeping from me? " I demanded.

" Aylin, we are not keeping anything from you. " she replied as she sat next to me.

" Don't lie to me Hailey."

" Have I ever lied to you? " she asked looking into my eyes.

I shook my head. " I'm sorry. " I apologised sounding guilty.

" Aylin you trust him don't you? " she asked.

I nodded. " Yes I do. "

" Then stop being a mega bitch and lighten up. When was the last time you ate? "

I thought for a minute. " I don't remember. " I replied honestly.

She sighed heavily. " How many times should I tell you not to starve yourself? "

" Sorry. I was just.... Not hungry. "

She rolled her eyes. " That's not an excuse. Now tell me what do you want to eat? "

" How about some pizza? " I suggest licking my lips.

" Except junk food. " She added folding her arms before her chest.

" I think I shouldn't have asked you. Now come follow me. Let's get you something to eat ." She stated as she got out of the couch,  pulling me along with her.

" How about some cheese sandwiches? " she suggested as we entered the kitchen.

" Sounds good. " I replied not really paying much attention.

" One for me as well? " a new voice asked behind me making us turn around.

" Kristian. " I squealed happily as I ran towards him pulling him into a bone crushing hug.

" Where have you been?  I missed you. " I mumbled against his chest .

He chuckled. " I missed you too. " He replied as he gently stroked my hair.

" Hey Kris. When did you return? " Hailey asked as she handed him his sandwich.

" A few hours ago. Heard you girls were here so thought I would visit you." he replied with a smile.

" By the way... Congratulations Aylin. " He stated looking at me with a smile.

" How did you.... " I turned towards Hailey and she gave me a sheepish smile. " Sorry " she whispered with no hint of sincerity.

He chuckled. " Come on Aylin. It's not a big thing. I would have found out anyways. I'm just sad that I didn't hear it from you. " he stated with a sad smile.

" I'm so sorry. It just... " I trailed off giving him an apologetic smile.

" It just slipped off your mind? " he asked sounding a little disappointed.

" Kristian, I didn't mean to say that. Please don't be mad at me. "I pleaded probably sounding like a five year old.

He shook his head. " Hey its okay. Don't worry Aylin, I'm not mad at you. "

Hailey cleared her throat awkwardly making us turn towards her. "Guys, I'm still here. Remember? "

Kristian raised an eyebrow. " So Hailey...I heard Shawn is  back in town. " he stated with a playful smirk playing on his face.

" Really ?  How did you know?"  she asked or rather demanded.

" I have my ways. " he shrugged still smirking.

" That son of a bitch. He promised to call once he's back in town. " she shouted making us brust out laughing.

She stared at us as if we had lost our minds. " Guys? "

" Your face was priceless. " Kristian stated still laughing.

" You lied to me? " she demanded glaring daggers at him.

" Well sorry about that. " he trailed off scratching the back of his neck.

" You know what?  I hate you. " she pouted folding her arms before her chest.

" Come on Hailey. Stop being a mega bitch. " I stated mimicking her voice.

The rest of the lunch went pretty much the same way .  With me and Kristian constantly teasing Hailey and she yelling at us about how much she hates us. Honestly,  it was hilarious.

" Did you talk to Nathan? " I asked Kristian as I put my plate into the dishwasher.

He shook his head. " Nope. His phone was not reachable. " he replied.

" Okay. " I replied with disappointment. Where was he and why wasn't he answering his phone?

" How about we go out for some ice cream? " Kristian suggested after a few minutes of silence.

" I don't think its a good idea Kris. Nathan has warned Aylin not to step out of the penthouse. " Hailey stated  as she walked back into the kitchen.

" Come on Hailey,  the ice cream shop is just a few blocks away. She's not going to be alone. So I  don't think it would be a problem. " he replied.

" I know Kris,  but.. " I cut her off in the middle.

" Come on Hailey we will not take long . " I pouted making her roll her eyes.

" But Kristian,  you know the situation and still you want to take her out? "

" I think she needs fresh air. She's been stressed all day. I think it would be best for her. " he replied.

" But Kristian? "

" Don't you trust me Hailey? " he asked stepping forward.

" Of course I do. But... "

" Then what is the problem?   I would never let anybody hurt her. " he shouted making her flinch.

Something about him was different. I mean,  I had never seen him this way. The last time I had seen him raise his voice was at Hannah. But now the way he's speaking to Hailey made me have a second thought about this whole  situation.

" Fine Kristian. But are you sure that the cops would let you take her alone? "

" I have taken care of it. " he replied with a smirk.

" Fine then have fun. " She replied and walked away.

" Kristian,  I think we should stay. " I suggested. For some odd reason I had the gut feeling that something was going to happen.

" What happened Aylin?  A few minutes back you wanted to go. And now... "

" Actually I...um...I'm not feeling well. "

He stepped forward. " If you are thinking about Hailey, then don't worry she will be fine. Come on Aylin we have to return before it gets dark. " and with that he led me towards the door.

" Wait a minute. Let me get my phone. "

" I don't think you would need it. " he replied curtly and almost dragged me out.
