NATHAN'S POV :

" Look I have nothing to do with Aylin. " I heard him shout for the nth time. And it took me everything not to go there and strangle him with my bare hands. That's what a lying asshole like him deserves.

It has been hours since they finally arrested Dylan. And they still couldn't get him to talk. The only thing he confessed was, he left the box in my doorstep. And other than that nothing.

Rex walked out with  a frown on his face. " Did he say anything? " I demanded as he walked up to me with what looked like a pen drive in his hand.

He shook his head. " I don't think he knows anything Nathan. " he stated honesty as he took a seat opposite to me.

"  You know what Rex? You can't do anything. " I shouted as I got out of my chair and storming  straight into the interrogation room completely ignoring his protest,  how I'm not supposed to go there.

" Mr Hyde,  you aren't supposed to be here. " one of the officers tried to stop me but I just ignored him.

" Where the hell is he? " I demanded as I grabbed Dylan by his collar, making his eyes go wide with fear.

" Look I don't know whom are you talking about and I swear I don't have anything to do with Aylin. " he replied shakily.

" I'm warning You Dylan. " I growled  punching him right on his face.

" Let go of him Nathan. " Rex shouted as he pulled me away from him, dragging me out of the room.

" Seriously? What were you thinking?  You could have got arrested." he snapped handing me a glass of water.

" And what makes you think I care? " I snapped back at him. He studied my face for a good ten minutes and then stated.

" Look Nathan you need to calm down. "

" Calm down?  How do you think I can calm down? " I shouted gaining attention from people around.

" If you want to hear what I have got to tell you. Then you have to  calm down. " he replied in a calm tone but knew he was hesitating.

I gave him a confused look. " What is it? " I demanded.

" They found another footage and the driver's face was captured by the camera -" he paused making me raise an eyebrow.

" It was Mark wasn't it? "  he shook his head.

" No Nathan it wasn't him."  he replied sounding a little anxious .

" But Aylin said it was his car. " I asked leaning back into the chair .

" Yes it was his car but it was stolen a month ago. Here ,the copy of the complaint report. " he replied handing me a copy.

" Then who was it? "

" It was Kristian." My heart dropped to my stomach.

" Kristian?  What does Kristian have to do  with all this? "

" I have no fucking idea. " he replied honestly.

" I think this Kayden is trying to frame my brother in all his mess. " I stated trying to convince him or rather convince myself that my brother has nothing to with all this mess.

" I know what you are feeling right now Nathan but  it was him . He was the one who was driving. If you want you can check the footage. " he stated as he threw the pen drive at me.

" If this is a joke, I swear  I will skin you alive. " I warned as I connected the pen drive to his computer.

It looked more or less like the same footage I had seen yesterday but it was from a different angle or should I say a different camera?

I dug my fingers into my palms as I carefully watched the footage. I still don't believe he is actually involved in this.  I pulled out my phone and dialed his number but Rex stopped me.

" Nathan don't. If he is involved with Kayden he could hurt Aylin. "

" But I need to know why did he do it. "

" There's something else Nathan." he paused waiting for my response.

" What is it?  "

He sighed. " He was the one who bailed Kayden. "

" I don't understand Rex. Why is he helping Kayden?  What does he have against Aylin?"

" Nathan I don't know how this will sound,  but I think Kayden has nothing to do with this. I think he was the one who was getting framed in all this mess. "

" Wait a minute, are you trying to say Kayden is not K? " I asked straight away.

" What I'm trying to say is why can't Kristian be K? " he replied leaning into the table.

" I was the one to introduce Aylin  to him Rex. So I don't think he stalked her. "

He chuckled. " Then why did he hire a PI ,a year back to get her information? " he replied handing me a few documents.

I flipped through the pages and it was Aylin's file. It had all her information along with a few pictures.

" What is this Rex? " I demanded handing the file back to him.

" This was the report which the detective gave him. " he replied.

" I don't understand. " I stated honesty  covering my face with my palms.

" How about we pay your brother a visit? " he suggested making me look up at him.

" But he's not in town. " I replied,  but he just smiled.

" I guess that's even better.  We don't need a search warrant. " he replied still smiling.

" I think you are right. " I smirked back at him getting out of my chair.

" Why didn’t you tell me your brother stays in the middle of nowhere? " Rex demanded as he stepped his feet further into the accelerator.

" Will you just shut up? You are giving me a headache. " I snapped at him making him glare at me.

" Look Nathan,  you have to cooperate. You can't just sit here acting like a girl on her period. "

" I'm not acting like a girl. " I practically yelled making him laugh.

" Finally. " I  sighed as we pulled into the driveway of the house .

" This place is heaven. " Rex commented as he admired the place.  To be honest,  it actually was a heaven. It was a small lake house  surrounded  by the woods.

" He had built this for Halena. She loved nature and they came here like every week. And after her death, he permanently moved in here."

" He stays here all by himself? "

" Yup. He's kind of a loner. " I stated as I walked up to the entrence.

" Have you thought how are we going to open the door? "

" Get ready Rex. We are going to kick it open. " And with that we kicked the door open.

" Holy crap. " was the first word that got out of our mouth the moment we stepped into the house.  I studied my surrounding and all I could see was Aylin. All the walls were covered with her pictures and posters.

" I don't believe this. " I sighed as I studied all the pictures on the wall.

" This guy was obsessed with her. " he stated still sounding shocked.

I scanned the entire room and there were like million pictures all clicked from a distance.  A few pictures were clicked in her apartment, a few were from outdoor and the others were just taken from Instagram and Facebook.

" Nathan you need to check this out. " he stated as he led me into what looked like a monitor room.

" I guess this is where he operated those hidden canaras. " I commented as I observed everything carefully.

" He fooled us for such a long time. " he stated as he went through a few CD's  placed on the table.

Something in the corner  of the room caught my attention and I headed towards it. It looked like a freezer. You know the kind you see in a  ice cream shop?  Why does Kristian have this in the first place?

I gently opened the freezer and my eyes went wide with horror. " REX" I shouted.

" What is it Nathan?  Did you find anything? " he asked. I turned towards him and nodded.

" Kayden. " I replied pointing at the freezer.
