With that, Xia He ran towards the main entrance. She and Qiao Mei had agreed to swap identities in the public toilet in the park. No one would notice that it was two different people going in and coming out.

Qian’e stood at the door of the public toilet and looked at the clock on the wall impatiently. Qiao Mei had already been in there for half an hour, but Xia He was not here yet. She hoped nothing had gone wrong.

Xia He quietly walked to the bushes and looked around. Then, she lowered her head and walked past Qian’e, bumping forcefully into her.

Qian’e held on to her shoulder in pain and shouted, “Can’t you see me standing here! Are you blind!”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m really in a hurry. I’m sorry!” Xia He hurriedly apologized and ran into the public toilet.

“It can’t be helped. Xia Zhe told me before that most of the He family’s subordinates are men. They won’t be able to go into the female toilet to monitor us. This place is the best choice,” Qiao Mei said firmly.

“That’s good, but this smell…” Xia He looked at Qiao Mei with some heartache. She knew that Qiao Mei was different from ordinary pregnant women. It seemed that her pregnancy symptoms were not that obvious, but it was still no small feat for her to wait here for so long.

Xia He bent down slightly and held her stomach as she followed behind Qian’e. She tried her best to lower her face so that no one could see her clearly.

Qian’e also walked much slower than usual, afraid that Xia He would accidentally fall and give herself away.
