Chapter 13- Wedding Or Deal?

Accidentally Met Mr. Billionaire ✔️ [Under Editing]

As I opened my cabin's door, I heard something break and just after a little bit, lavender's smell roamed all over the office. I turned around to see Rhea knocking down one of the room fresheners. She apologized to Mr. Smith but he always gave her tough time.

He loved picking on Rhea just because she was clumsy. She would knock down at least something everyday. If she doesn't then that's a miracle because there hasn't passed a single day when she hasn't knocked off something.

"So I heard you got the tender," she spoke formally. I looked up to her and nodded. She didn't react as if it was just a normal thing but just as I looked down she ran and pulled me into a hug. "Congratulations."

I took a step back from how she moved towards me. I hugged her back and thanked her. She pulled out of the hug and threw her arms around my neck.

"You and Chase are going to Paris tomorrow, and my fans want to know how does it feel," she asked, holding her hand closest to my mouth which was suppose to be a mic.

"Well I am very sorry to disappoint your fans but I will not be going with him tomorrow," I spoke into the fake mic.

Suddenly her fake mic wasn't there. Her hands dropped by her side as she made a mad face. "What?" She asked in disbelief.

Well I can't choose the deal over dad's wedding so whatever anyone says, I won't change my answer. Anyways Chase did most of the work so he should definitely be there and they can send Rhea as my replacement. She also works very hard for all of the deals him and Jeremy gets.

She deserves this.

"Dad is getting married tomorrow," I spoke softly. Her expressions changed from mad to awed. Her eyes lightened up as if I told her she was getting married.

"Ooh I love weddings! We'll have so much fun tomorrow then, fuck that deal," she stated calmly and started biting on the apple which was sitting on my desk.

"We will? I didn't even invite you," I stated, looking straight into her hazel brown eyes filled with happiness.

"I don't need an invitation, I'm your other half and I shall go where my other half goes," she said in an accent, standing up straight and giving me a big smile as if we were in colonial era.

"I think you should stay and go to the deal with Chase," I said as I took the apple from her hand and took a bite.

"Oh no no I can't go with brother-in-law. You deserved to be with him and nobody else shall take that from you," she spoke dramatically as she took the apple from me and took a bite.

"Well I can't go with him tomorrow and you are the only one I trust to go with him," I told her calmly as I took the apple from her and took a bite.

"And miss out on an amazing wedding? Thanks but no thanks," she said as she took the apple from my hand and she sat down on the chair next to my laptop.

"Rhea!" I groaned.

"Olive!" She faked a groan.

"I can't convince you to go, can I?" I sighed.

"Not a chance," she emphasized on not.

"But chase needs someone to back him up for the deal," I sighed.

Ugh! This is such a big deal. Mr. Chivalry never got this deal but Chase pulled it off so easily. They liked his creation and is ready to invest so many pounds. I can't let this deal go, I will find someone who can go with him. Yeah!

I pulled up my sleeves and quickly made my hair in a messy bun. My bangs fell nicely on my forehead as I blowed and they were flying in the air for a second or two.

Okay I'm ready to make it. "Move," I pushed Rhea off the chair and she fell to the ground on her butt.

"Ouch! That actually hurt. What are you doing anyway?" She complained while just taking a seat on the ground instead of standing up.

"I need to make the presentation so tomorrow Chase is ready and he just have to present," I spoke silently.

"Aww you care about him," she stated, still eating the remaining of the apple.

"I care about the deal," I corrected her.

"Which basically ties to him so you care about him," she said.

"Alright I need you help," I asked, looking at her.

"Anything for you my other half," she spoke in an accent again.

"Well you have to call the following people and tell them to set everything up quickly," I said as I gave her a list of people with their names and numbers.

"Alright," she said as she stretched her arm out to take the list from me.

I looked at her in disbelief. "Stand up," I demanded.

"You know I'm actually really comfortable down here so I'm gonna sit her and finish my work," she told me as she formed her sitting position.

"Lazy ass," I muttered under my breath as I handed her the list.

"Better then caring ass," she mumbled loud enough for me to hear.

"I heard that," I said.

"I wanted you to hear it," she stated as she dialed one of them and started talking.

"Hey this is Rhea Kapoor and I wanted to tell you that you don't have much time so please set up everything quickly because the wedding is tomorrow and not in a year. Thank you, bye!" She spoke with confidence and cockiness.

"That was a bit harsh, don't you think?" I asked her quietly.

"I am doing my work and so should you," she said.

I think an hour or so passed by and both Rhea and I were working on our own things. Rhea being Rhea was scolding everyone that she called and then politely closed the conversation with 'thank you, bye!'

She was one of the best people in my life that I started to care about. There aren't many because I am, as you know, a loner. I had a grandpapa and mother who died and now Keechee is here along with dad. I think I am cursed. Whoever I care about starts to die so I stopped socializing and caring for others but Rhea somehow came into my life and I hope she doesn't leave me.

I am really blessed to have a friend like her.

"I'm done," I heard Rhea say something which broke my train of thoughts and I looked at her on the ground.

She took one of the sofa pillows and used it as a pillow as she was laying down on the ground with a phone and the list.

"Really?" I asked.

"No I am kidding," she joked.

"No you aren't," I complied as she slowly stood upright and threw the pillow back on the sofa.

She handed over to me the list. I took it from her and typed up my last slide. I opened my email and emailed the whole presentation to Chase.

"I have to go, see ya later," Rhea said as she gave me a small side hug.

"Bye, 'night," I said as she left the room.

I sat on my desk and waited for Chase to view my email. I refreshed the site many times but nothing happens.

I waited for Chase to reply.

I waited.

Waited.

Waited more.

But he didn't reply.

I started to get scared of why he wasn't replying. He always replied to my emails.

Suddenly I heard a ping from the computer and refreshed the site. There was a new email from Mr. Chavirly who stated that if I couldn't go with Chase to the deal then he chose someone to go with him.

I replied back to him saying sure if he wants. I didn't mind.

Suddenly I heard another ping which was finally from Chase. I opened it and it stated 'thank you, you are a life savior olive!'

I replied back to him saying 'No Problem.'

Suddenly I got another email from an unknown person. I didn't know who it was but it read 'Don't worry about the presentation Olive, I have gotten everything under control.'

I sighed and closed my laptop and placed it into the cover. I took my things and left.
