Chapter 4- Shining For You

Accidentally Met Mr. Billionaire ✔️ [Under Editing]

Chase's POV

I opened the door for her and sat down quietly. She seemed to be jumping from happy to sad to angry and repeat. Right now she seemed sad. Her face was down and it seemed like she needed someone to talk to.

I closed the door and sat down inside the car and drove off. "Mind telling me where you live?" I asked.

"Where I live?" She asked.

"Mhmm," I agreed and focused on her.

"I live with my grandma," she whispered softly.

"Well where does she live?" I asked.

"She lives with me," she said.

"Ha ha very funny. I am asking for your house address."

"Well give me my purse," she demanded.

I took her purse and gave it to her. She searched for something in there.

"What are you looking for?" I asked and she shushed me.

"Let me pay attention," she said.

"Ok," I stated as I drove slowly.

"Ah, there it is!" She said as she pulled out her phone and started going through it. It had been more than 10 minutes since she was doing something with her phone.

"So?" I asked as I stopped the car.

"So what?" She asked.

"Where do you live?" I asked again.

"Oh right, that's what I was looking for," she said as she again did something with the phone.

Her hands were shaking and she was saying something but I couldn't make any sense out of it.

Oh god she was really drunk.

I took her phone.

"What are you doing? Keechee will be mad at me. She always wanted me to go to dates and this is the reason I don't go to dates. I get drunk and then I don't know what I talk about and-" she started blurting out but I placed my index finger on her lips.

"Shh," I shushed her. "I'll do the talking now and you'll listen, okay?" I stated and she nodded.

"How do you not remember where you live?" I asked and she looked at me innocently. I narrowed my eyebrows. "Answer me."

"But you said not to talk," she pouted.

Oh god, she is so beautiful and attractive. I wanted to bang her badly! I haven't been able to get laid for a month now and it's so hard to resist her.

"Now you can talk," I demanded.

"I do remember... it's... 3930 Shakespeare's street... no no it's 3903 Shakespeare's ... no it's 3993... wait no it's not that it's-" she started but I interjected.

"You know what let me just search up the what you said and see if the place is even real," I stated as I pulled out my phone and typed up what she said and there was nothing like that.

I looked at her and found her tucked under my coat and her eyes looked at me. She looked so innocent that I forgot all about my anger. I turned to the front and started driving.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to... say anything that angers you... I just," she started crying.

I turned my head and found her crying again and again. She didn't stop crying. What happened?

"Why... why would he do that to me? I... I never wanted anything bad. I actually fell for it," she started tearing up.

"It's okay," I complied.

"He... he betrayed me. It... it still... hurts," she said as tears flowed down her cheeks.

"He doesn't deserve you if he betrayed you," I said and she smiled at me.

"I... I miss them so much... I wish... I wish they never left," she sobbed.

I stopped the car on a side and took her hand in mine. Her eyes glowed in the dark and I tucked a hair strand behind her ear.

"Hey hey it's okay," I whispered as I wiped her tears.

"No... no it's not okay. They will never... never... come back," she sobbed and hugged me tightly.

I was taken aback by her sudden action. First I hesitated but then hugged her back tighter. I felt all of those tears as they remained on my shirt. I ran my hand on her hair and shushed her but she didn't stop crying.

"Don't worry they'll come back," I whispered softly.

"Dead people don't come back," she muttered softly and my eyes shot open.

"They don't because they have become stars. Wait a minute," I stated as I pulled back and wiped her tears. I smiled at her and she just stared at me. I got out of the car and I opened the door for her and led her outside.

I climbed on the car's roof and pulled her up with me. I laid down and extended my arm to my side so she could put her head instead she placed her head on my chest. Both of us laid down and looked at the stars.

"You see that one. That's my dog: Sandy. And that one is my grandfather then that is my mom," I stated, pointing towards the stars.

She chuckled. "How do you know that it's them?" She asked as her head tilted and she looked up to my eyes.

"I don't. Im just guessing. I love watching the sky, it's so calm and peaceful," I stated as she looked back at the stars. "Stars shine the brightest."

"So, that is my grandpa?" She asked and I nodded in return which caused her to smile.

Suddenly she started laughing and abruptly sat up. I sat up holding onto her. I swear something is wrong with her. She is bipolar.

"Alright enough of that now let's get you settled," I stated as I tried getting down but she pulled me towards her.

"Stay here, it's peaceful. I don't want to... go back," she said as both of us again laid on the roof and looked at the star.

After a while I heard a quiet snoring sound. It was so quiet that I was barely able to tell that Olive was snoring.

I sat up slowly and found her sleeping on my chest. She was holding onto my shirt tightly.

I sighed.

I slowly slid down holding her and placed her in the car. As I was about to close the door I felt someone pulling me just then i noticed that she didn't let go of my shirt. I slowly tried to unwrap her fingers from my shirt but she didn't let go. I tried again and then she finally let go and I sat in my spot.

I drove to my house and on the way she woke up and had all the different mood swings and then again she went to sleep.

What was wrong with her? I never felt anything like how I feel for her. It has only been couple of hours and I'm already too attracted to her.

I sighed as I parked my car in my driveway. I opened the door for her and scooped her into my arms. I slowly opened the house door and and took her to the guest bedroom which was in the opposite direction than mine.

I laid her on the bed and again she was holding onto my shirt again. I slowly unwrapped her fingers and then covered her up with the blanket.

I went to the door, turned to look at her and then turned the lights off and left to my room.
