—Narrator's perspective—

Arabella Salvatore slid her shoes on the waxed wooden floor, almost got deaf when Mg shouted to fight back. Looks like she arrived in time, Arabella looked over to Kaleb and the others, they all nodded to each other before fighting the triad mercenaries.

The Blone Vampire held the back of a man's head, slamming it on the table near them making him pass out. She ducked when somebody tried to knock her out using the edge of a gun, her feet knocked him over, Bella's fist went through his chest and pulled out his heart.

"Oh— Would you keep it Pg-13?!" Kaleb asked, gesturing to the kids who was watching the entire thing Arabella did.

"Um.. Don't try this at home?" She questioned and Kaleb snorted before fighting a dude that was about to go after him.

Arabella's eyes landed to the pack of wolves on the side, more specifically, Rafael who struggled. She sped to him, snapping the neck of a man just in time.

"Thanks..." Rafael said, eyes shifting and turning back to gold. She nodded and went back to the field with an angered expression to the others.

Arabella gripped on wooden stake that nearly went to her chest. She growled and her eyes turned crimson red. "That won't kill me." She informed before throwing the stake to him, hitting him on his chest.

"Can you make it less violent?" Mg whined at Arabella who laughed and shook her head in disagreement.

All she just wanted to do was finish everyone off and drive fastly to Hope. It even got her thinking on why did she even let the girl go to a suicide mission on herself.

It didn't matter seeing as she 'accidentally' pushed Burr down the stairs when he was about to shoot Mg with the Malivore bullet. She saw that he was puking slugs and looked up to see the Saltzman twins.

"You need to go." She informed them but they shook their heads. Arabella sped behind them, aggressively throwing an incoming enemy outside the window.

She exhaled, looking around helping Josie sit down on the table. "Where the hell is Alaric when you need him." She whispered before stepping back.

Soon after, Rafael and Mg came to them. "All right, Jo, you don't look too hot." The Werewolf pointed out in worry, looking at the siphoner with concern.

"We got to go after Burr." Mg informed all of them.

"Don't worry. I got magic Hope bling too." He showed them the necklace around his neck, making Arabella widen her eyes.

"Are you crazy? No way." She objected, knowing exactly what will happen if he transitions to a wolf.

Rafael shook his head. "I'll be fine. All that matters is running them down. If Josie and Lizzie can help me with a veiling spell... he'll never see me coming." He said and looked at the twins.

Before Arabella could even argue even further, Raf looked at her with a stern look. She sighed and nodded, telling him to do what he wants and get it over with.

In the middle of the room, he started to shift to a wolf, his bones breaking making him shout in pain and agony. He had his eyes turn to ambrose while looking at us one by one, him shaking his head when Arabella was about to help him. She backed away, squeezing her arm to stop herself from stopping Raf.

Jo and Lizzie joined hands, mumbling an incantation when Rafael finally turned into his full wolf form. They held their palms up to the wolf, his whole animal figure disappearing from thin air.

"Go get him Rafi." She said and they heard a growl soon after it fading away. "Can you please, stay inside the school? Ric will be here any time soon." Arabella pointed at the twins who nodded, didn't question on how the Vampire looked fine than before.

"Let's go, Ara." Mg called out and the two ran to the front doors, Arabella hoping that he can be the one to kill Burr for shooting Josie.

Arabella and Mg stopped by a wall, watching Burr in the bus pointing his gun. He was about to fire but Rafael's invisible wolf form started to growl and go after the mercenaries who was just outside of them, them being confused of what's happening ang getting tossed from left to right without a know to what's going on. All of them just hearing wolf growls and bites.

When Rafael finally took Burr outside the bus, Arabella and Mg walked towards them. "We got it from here, Raf." Mg spoke and Rafael could be seen again. "Hit the woods until Hope comes back." He informed and the wolf looked at the blonde, him growling again then running off to the woods.

"He'll be fine, right?" Arabella asked unsure, watching the wolf fastly escape into the woods with no one there to accompany him nor help him transform back.

Burr turned around quickly and held his gun up to both of them. "You are all a monster, just like him, and you all need to be put down."

"Darling I've been called worse." Arabella sneered and showed her fangs but before she can even touch a strand of hair on his head, he started to form into stone.

Both Mg and Arabella looked at each other confused then looked behind them to see Nia with her hair up.

"Rather be a monster than a paperweight." She shrugged walking over to them.

"I haven't met you and I like you already." Arabella gave her a grin which Nia returned. The blonde looked back and studied Burr's cement figure.

Arabella felt like kicking him until he's a pile of debris, should she even do it? Her mind went elsewhere and felt like something was missing. She gasped, looking over at Mg. "Mg! Holy shit." She cussed and the boy only looked at her confusingly.

"Don't curse at me." He pointed at her and she only shook her head and used her Vampire speed to get to her car.

Arabella was panting when she exited the gates of the Salvatore School, not caring if somebody pulls her over because all she could think about was getting to Hope Mikaelson. She looked at the time and them immediately getting worried, it will be a long drive but she just hopes that she'll be there in time.

She looked back to the road behind her using the rear view mirror, what confuses her was that she was panting heavily. Arabella pulled her phone out, contacting Ric first to make sure Josie was All right. He answered in the next few minutes of Arabella trying.

"Finally! Don't you check your phone?" She asked in an angered tone, swerving to the right aggressively when she almost hit a truck that was too slow which it only honked in response. "Yeah to hell with you too." She whispered that one and glared at the road, entering the highway.

"I'm a little busy with my daughter dying, Ara— Are you in the highway? I heard a truck honk." He asked skeptic about her antics, Ric was looking over the twins while he was talking with Arabella over the phone.

"Yup." She popped the 'p', driving through lanes left and right due to how slow the other cars were. "The cars here are painfully slow— wait wait, how's Josie? Is she all right?" Bella asked more concerned now.

Ric sighed. "Yes. Thank god for Hope's miracle blood." He added and looked at Josie with a warm smile. "Where are you going?"

"Um, probably to kill myself, Ric." She snorted right after at how that question could be asked right now. "To the love of my life ofcourse."

"It's almost nightfall. She hasn't called?" He asked worriedly, scratching the back of his neck and waited for a response.

"Probably busy kicking some monster's ass and saving Landon in the process." Arabella hummed, honking at a dude who stopped fully almost making her get into a car accident. "Oh for goodness sakes— DON'T FUCKING DRIVE IF YOU HAVE THE MINDSET AS A CHILD." she shouted, her car's a convertible like Damon's so she was definitely heard by the guy when she shouted.

Alaric cleared his throat, about to speak but Josie frowned hearing the words from the other line even when Ric didn't have the phone on speakerphone. "Is Ara all right? Sounds like she can kill anyone by now." She pointed out and Arabella snorted when she heard.

"Yeah she's fine. Just rest sweetie." Ric said in a soothing voice and smiled at her. "Can't you drive normally? I don't want to pick you up in a jail cell in highway 13." He joked.

"Funny." Arabella said blankly. "Listen, I'm gonna call her. Go bond with Jo for me." She said and Ric agreed and told her to be careful.

Arabella hung up, keeping her eyes on the road and just decided to wait until she was close to Triad before she calls Hope.

Then so she did. It took every ounce of her strength to not jump out of the car and beat the crap out of the many people who can't keep up with her speed. Arabella herself was too shocked that nobody has yet to pull her over for speeding.

It's not like she's going over the speed limit— actually she did when the moon presented itself to the sky, nearly a few hours passed and she was getting closer to the Triad headquarters.

She pulled her phone from the cupholder, dialing Hope's number swiftly. She waited and waited, by the minutes went by of her not picking up, she got extremely worried.

Arabella groaned, hitting on the steering wheel multiple times in anger. She lets out a shaky breath, the familiar flame of pain inside her chest began to rise to her.

All she could do was stomp on the gas, entering a much more deserted road and only a few minutes until she reached the headquarters. She started hyperventilating, her telling herself that she was being dramatic but the more she thought about Hope, the more her pain escalates.

"Hope answer the phone..." She mumbled desperately, dialing her number again and placed it against her ear in hopes she would answer right away.

But, it wasn't that simple. It was ringing but nobody was answering. She was this close on throwing her phone upwards outside the roof and letting it get destroyed but decided to save it before she regrets it.

She nervously tapped on the steering wheel, her non dominant hand was holding her head because if she doesn't, she'll lose her mind. Arabella was definitely freaking out, couldn't possibly think of Hope getting hurt.

Arabella will never forgive herself if the tribrid herself gets hurt or worse...

Her phone rang and a momentarily lapse of relief hit her face when she answered quickly. "You are so dead when I see you." She quickly said, hearing Hope chuckle dryly but Arabella stopped freaking out and calmed herself fown when she heard Hope laugh.

"Bella..." She started, tearing up on the other end which Arabella didn't hear. Then, Arabella heard alarm rang in the background making her freak out again.

"What— why is there an alarm? Hope?" She questioned, gripping on the steering wheel more firmly. When Hope wasn't speaking, she started to tear up. "Hope. Hey, talk to me please." She called out desperately.

"I'm sorry, Bella." She finally croaked out, voice cracking and cried. "I need to toss myself to that pit. The last artifact is gone, Clarke tossed it in."

Arabella's breath hitched. "So? Don't you fucking dare jump in that pit, Hope Mikaelson." She cried, speeding up some more to the road and tried to get there.

"I already called Alaric and had him pack up our room— my stuff. It's like I was never there, okay?" She asked, Hope clinging onto her mouth to prevent a sob to escape her mouth.

"What? Hope please... Please don't do this." Arabella begged. She didn't understand at all because all she could think about was Hope jumping into a pit that had the ability to erase people from memories. "I love you, I need you so please don't leave me." She sobbed, having to have to use her arm on wiping a few tears on her eyes.

Hope could be heard sobbing from the other line, wanting to see Arabella for the last time but knew it was impossible. "I love you too... you know that." She managed to say, looking to Landon's temporary dead body.

"Hope! Please." Arabella spoke, the increasing pain in her chest started to become erratic and unbearable. "O-Oh god..." She whispered, holding her phone to her chest to stop the pain.

"Bella? Bella?" Hope called out and knew that the Vampire was having another attack. "Arabella please calm down. I don't want our last conversation of you to be in pain."

"But I am in pain!" She shouted, putting the phone on speaker before placing it on the cupholder, both her hands gripping on the steering wheel. "All my life I never fell in love, Hope. Never until I met you. Forgetting you in my life is the last thing I ever want in this earth and I need you to stay with me. Please we'll find another way— we always do, remember?" She asked desperately, looking at the phone.

Arabella heard something roar on the other line and aside from Hope's sobs, she became more and more concerned. She clutched on the gear, driving more faster as she was getting closer.

"Bella.." Hope called. "I love you."

"Hope, Wait! I'm almost there so please just don't go!" She shouted, stopping in front of the gate, grabbing the phone on her way to the triad headquarters. "I love you too, Hope. Don't you go— I can't live without you." Arabella said when her phone was against her ear, her running tiredly towards the building.

Hope snapped her neck towards Clarke who woke up. "That's why you need to forget, Bella. I love you so much and I'll always do. Always." She said determined and the other line went off, Arabella's heart dropped.

"No no no..." She whispered and got stopped in the middle of the field, looking at her phone in anger. "Damn it!" Arabella shouted and ran faster to get to the doors.

She nearly kicked the entrance door opened, empty. Arabella used her hearing and she heard a man talking with Hope, her heart dropped.

Arabella was too focused on stopping Hope, she didn't even care about the other voice. She kicked the door open, it flying across the room when she entered the room. She could see the pit and Hope jumped.

"No!" Hope shouted, her hand flung to Arabella who was about to jump as well, the Vampire got flew to the wall, having to watch Hope jump in and took Clarke with her.

"Hope!" Arabella shouted and tried to move but her body remained on the wall, eyes glistening in tears and all she could see how Hope looked apologetic.

All Hope remembered was Arabella's horrified face, having to watch her dive in the pit. Hope's eyes were sore from crying but it didn't stop her from crying even more because all she remembered was Arabella with begging eyes to her. She felt guilt that she had put Arabella through so much but relief when she remembered that nobody will even remember her. Not even the Arabella Salvatore who she loves with her whole heart.

When Hope finally disappeared, Arabella grew more angry and screamed, screamed and screamed until she could no longer feel her throat. It only stopped when she fell to the ground, her eyes blinking continously.

"What—" She stopped when she touched under her eyes, tears were straining earlier and now. "Why the hell was I crying?" Arabella asked herself and stood up, leaning over the ledge to see nothing. Nothing was there.

Her eyes scanned the room more, saw Landon's body erupted in ashes and his fist went upwards, sitting up and the first thing he sees was Arabella who had the same confused look.

"Hey, you know what happened?" She asked, helping him stand up and he shook his head. "I'm glad you're okay." Arabella sighed in relief and hugged his figure despite it shedding with ashes.

"Wait, why?" He asked confused when Arabella pulled away, she opened her mouth to speak but no answer came out.

"I-I guess I'm just glad?" She questioned but more intended to herself. Her phone rang in her pocket which she picked up. "Hey, Ric. I just got Landon."

He sighed in relief. "Oh thank god. Do you want me to go over there? I found a note that says you both need me."

"No We'll manage. I drove my car and... I don't remember." She squinted her eyes in confusion. "Don't worry though, I got Landon and I'll bring his pretty face back to school." She assured in a confident tone. Alaric told her to be careful and drive safe which sent deja vu to them but didn't say anything.

Landon's eyes widen. "Uh, Ara, look. What the hell is this?" He asked and pointed at the huge hole on the ground.

Arabella frowned and slipped her phone inside her pocket, looking at where he was pointing. She frowned even more, looking at Landon. "I have no idea how I even know where to find you." She said honestly, both of them looking down to the massive hole again.
