chapter 13

The following morning,

As she was going to get out from her home to office, she got call from krishan Sharma. She looked at mobile screen and attended the call, "good morning sir."

He said in cheerful voice, "good morning Suhana. Where are you just now?"

Suhana replied, "I am just going out for office."

Krishan Sharma told, "I got the call from Mr Nanda just now. You have to go directly singh group. Mr Singh wants to give his suggestions on this project. He saw the project and there are many flaws."

Suhana frowned, "but sir, I already told it was last time. Sorry, but now I won't go."

Krishan Sharma sighed, "Suhana, we know you are best. I don't know what happened to you this time but you never denied before. Nobody has courage to face Mr Singh. And his secretary specially asked you to come."

Suhana was speechless. After few moments, She asked with hestitation, "what did he say?"

Krishan Sharma told truthfully, "he said 'Mr Singh wants to discuss about project with you'. You know we can't offend him."

Suhana sighed, "that's why all of you want to dig the hole for me."

Mr Sharma felt it's his hallucination. It's first time Suhana talked to anyone like it. He coughed many times and tried to say something, "Suhana..."

Suhana was really angry, "no need to say anything. I understand. I am going now."

Mr Sharma didn't know what to say, "Suhana, let's talk when you come back."

Suhana didn't want to say anything because she felt they betrayed her. She made her face, "fine"

She was not hungry anymore that's why she picked up her bag and coming out from her room. As she was going to out from her home, she heard her dad voice, "Suhana, don't you eat anything?"

She said, "Dad, I am not hungry. I will eat in office." She lied without any blink.

Her dad said with calm voice, "Suhana, come here and sit."

She knew her dad wanted to talk her but she was not in good mood now that's why she didn't want to talk. If it's another day, she will gladly accept his offer. But she couldn't deny her dad that's why she sat on dinning table.

Her mom gave a plate with stuff paratha and curd to her and sat with them.

Her mother said warmly, "it's your favourite. If you are not hungry, eat it."

Suhana nodded and took a bite. Her dad said with worried, "Suhana,now a days you are looking tensed. Is everything okay?"

Suhana nodded her head, "yeah, there is a important project in which we are working."

Her dad nodded with understanding. He looked at his wife and Mrs Triveni nodded. Mr Triveni told, "Suhana, Actually, your aunt told about a family. The boy is good and well educated. And the family is respected in society."

Suhana understood now what her parents wanted to talk her. She took a bite from her plate and said nonchalantly, "dad, I am not interested now. I want to focus on my career." Her parents didn't know what's going on her life because she didn't tell them. It's her parents rights to think about her marriage that's why she was not angry.

Mrs Triveni said with frustration, "but suhana, your job is stable. And we know you are one of best employee of your company. What do you want to do more?"

She took deep breath, "Mom, please I am not ready right now."

Mrs Triveni scolded to her, "Suhana, when will you get ready? you are not young. I have your elder sister when I was in your age. Don't make excuses."

Suhana ate last bite of her plate and stood up, "when I will ready, I will tell you."

Mrs Triveni asked with anger, "Suhana, don't tell us you are waiting for him?"

Mr Triveni shouted at his wife, "Shalini"

Suhana eyes widened with shocked. She felt like her mom slapped her tightly on face. There were tears in her eyes but she didn't cry. Mr Triveni looked at his daughter and wife. He sighed, "Suhana, you go first. We will talk later."

Suhana gulped and nodded. As she was coming out from her home, she heard her mom crying voice, "if he was not reason, why does she  always refuse to meet any boy?"

She took big strides from her home. She wanted to run away. She was not immature now. She understood why her family doubted on her? But how can she prove her innocence in front of them when they don't believe on her? She hoped her family will understand as time passing.

Kavish looked at Suhana who sat on bus stop bench was looking at distance from his car. There was sadness on her face. His heart felt pain to look her like it. He came to pick her personally. He called her many times but she didn't respond.

He gave instructions to Ravi to arrange everything. He has more trust on Ravi since Ravi convinced Suhana to come at his mansion. Ravi also knew what his boss wants that's why he arranged everything as his boss can spend more time with her.

At last, Kavish located her location and spotted her on bus stop. His car was far away from bus stop. He couldn't look her like it. He got out from car. Ravi wanted to follow him but he denied. Ravi kept an eye on his boss from a afar after all it's his duty his boss safety.

Kavish stopped in front of her but she didn't notice. He helplessly put his hand on her shoulder.

Suhana startled suddenly to feel someone touch but that touch was familiar and warmth. She looked at his face for confirmation. He was looking down on her. As she raised her head to look him, their eyes met. He looked her eyes had tears. He called her warmly, "Suhana"

Suhana felt relaxed to hear his voice. She asked with hestitation, "Can I hug you?"

He nodded without second thought. And she immediately wrapped her hands on his legs while put her head on his stomach. He was standing while she was sitting. Every passer by was looking them with amusement. He would never allow anyone to touch him or in public and hug... It's impossible. But it was Suhana and he can't deny her for anything. He didn't care about his surroundings. If she wants, he will do anything. Ravi was also in awe to look at his boss like it.

After few minutes, Suhana left him and said with embrassment, "thank you." She didn't think he would allow her publicly but she needed someone to lean as to pass her sorrow. It felt good when you are sad, someone stands your side and let you hug him.

He curled his lips, "not mention." He sat down beside her and stuck her hairs behind her ears with his fingers, "Are you feeling relaxed now?"

She nodded without looking at him. She tried to explain, "I am sorry..."

He didn't like when she behaves formally with him. He stood up and said in low voice, "Let's go otherwise we will be late."

She nodded and followed him. They sat into the car and the driver started to car.

There was awkward silence between them. Suddenly, something came into her mind. What he was doing near her home? His mansion and her house are in different directions. She glanced at him who was typing on his laptop. He was working because he didn't like any awkward silence between them.

He noticed her gaze on himself. He raised his head and looked up. As their eyes met, she immediately looked away. A smile came on his face when he looked she was acting like she was catched red handed.

He wanted to tease her but she was already upset that's why he dropped the idea. He didn't notice that since he met her, he changed in many ways. He never found attraction towards anyone except her. He felt that she was only one and only for him. He wanted to pamper her, spoil her and gave her happiness.

She was so scared that he would catch her again to look at him. That's why she didn't glance to him again. She looked outside from window whole time.

Inside Singh group,

He was walking in front while Suhana and Ravi were following him. He wanted to hold her hand and walk with her but he knew she was not ready now.

Every employees was greeting him and he was nodding slightly. And they were looking trio like they saw today sun rise from West. They never saw any girl or woman walk with him or follow him. Even, Kavish's subordinates or servants all were males. When kavish noticed everyone eyes on them, he glared with burning eyes. Everyone immediately retreated their gaze and started to work. Nobody wants to lose their job.

After entering into elevator, Suhana felt relieved. She noticed everyone gazed on them.

In the office,

Kavish sat on his chair while said Suhana to sit on couch, "Sit here and wait to finish my work."

She nodded because she had no choice. She sat but thought, 'what will I do here to sit? When he was busy, why he asked me to come?'

She waited for few minutes but suddenly she got bored without any work. She looked at him who was working. He took out his coat and he was in shirt and trouser now. The light was flashing on his face. He was looking more handsome in bright light. As he was working in seriously, he was looking more enchant.

She frowned to think about it. She suddenly looked away. Why was she feeling about him in that manner? She didn't care if he was handsome or not. She didn't care if he was rich or not.

After few moments, she secretly glanced at him but this time, he was looking at her with smile. As their eyes met, she retreated away suddenly.

He was noticing her eyes on him since  starting but he didn't want she looked away that's why he was working. But as she looked away and thought, he looked at her face. Her face expression changed from blushed to shock to refusal to blushed. As she was thinking deeply. He was wondering what she was thinking.

After few moments, she again looked him and their eyes met. He smiled wildly but she immediately looked away. He frowned and stood up.

He stood up in front of her and asked in coaxing voice, "Suhana, are you hungry? Do you want something specially?"

She blinked her eyes with confusion. Did she come here for eating? She immediately shook her head with no, "I already ate."

He sat beside her and said with pleasing tone, "if you want something special, tell me. I will order for you."

She said polielty, "Mr Singh..." But when she noticed his gloomy face. She corrected immediately, "Sir...."

He asked with darkened eyes, "is it hard for you to call my name?"

She said truthly, "I am not used to."

His expression changed with calm, "then call me now by my name."

She tried to say, "but.."

He said with confident, "if you don't call my name, I will kiss you. Call my name."

She startled and tried to move away from him but he held her waist and didn't let her move. He was looking at her, "Say now"

She helplessly said, "Kavish"

He smiled to hear it and gave order, "now repeat it until you get to use."

She wanted to deny but when she noticed he was coming her, she nodded.

He smiled, "good girl"

They heard the knock on door. She tried to struggle free from him. He put his hand away her and sat straight.

Ravi entered into cabin and said in low voice, "Sir, there is meeting within few minutes."

Kavish nodded abd stood up. He looked at Suhana and gave order to Ravi, "Order something healthy snacks for her. It's not good to be hungry for her."

She was speechless. Didn't she tell him that she already eat? If she ate more, she will get fat soon.

But she had no courage to speak in front of him. Even, he left without getting her response. She looked helplessly at closed door. Again, she was alone. It was enough torture. She didn't know why he was punishing her like it.

After few minutes, a female came with snacks and juice. She served on table and left. She looked at snacks with watery eyes. Even, she was not hungry but looking at snacks, she can't resist more.

She thought, 'isnt it waste if I didn't eat it? At least, I should taste it.'

She didn't know when she finished juice and snacks. After eating, she was feeling lazily. She didn't want to sleep but slept soon.
